  2. Whoever said pressure doesn't work against Brady is wrong. We've seen teams give him trouble - not often - but we've seen it disrupt their offense. He doesn't throw picks but it's the only way to have a chance. The issue is two fold - one, that's not what this years Bills team does well, so we may struggle to do it. Second, they'll still score and we'll ultimately have to outscore them, again not something we do particularly well.
  3. I wish Tre could explain this to probably half our fan base that wants to compare our first year coach and GM to everything that's happened before they got here.
  4. This was already posted IN another thread.
  5. He doesn't throw many interceptions the last 10 seasons in any situation - he's a master at throwing it away or in the vicinity of a player. Just like any QB, although he's the hardest to do it against, you have to make him throw a little sooner than he wants to as much as possible to create those throw aways. We've seen it work with some great defenses. I'm not saying we can but that's the only way to limit their scoring. Then of course you have to score yourself. It's such a tough match up for a team like ours - without a QB that can just keep answering their scoring prowess.
  6. This is why the NFL didn't allow these celebrations - because it taunts the opposing team and can create these emotions. I get the whole "well then don't let him score on you then" comeback but that's not always going to work when emotions are high. I don't really care that the NFL is letting the players celebrate now since it seemed to be so important to the players that they be able to. I find most of these celebrations pretty ridiculous and juvenile. just to be clear, I like when the players do a quick spike or dance and celebrate by jumping and high fiving their team mates but it's the little mini skits that are over the top for me.
  7. I'd like to end the drought this season.
  8. All you really need is 2-3 years - hopefully about the time a young QB is coming into his own.
  9. Well I guess if that's the rumor, that's fine but I'm not going to say that's a fact. If Doug asked for too much - then to me that's as good as taking advantage of the out.
  10. How is Schwartz doing now as a head coach? Marrone was under contract and had an out to leave if the team was sold. He took the out - Pegula's not keeping him is false.
  11. We've let some playmakers go, no doubt, but they weren't giving the effort here. They needed to go. I think it's been all too easy for players to not give everything they have - that is not only no longer going to be tolerated but it's definitely not going to be rewarded. When your big ticket playmakers and highest paid players are Watkings and Dareus - things need to change and they have. Did it make us better? No, but you can't move forward with people like that. You need a team full of Kyle's not just a few. Kyle tried to reach guys like Marcell and Jonathan Williams - some guys just aren't in it 100% for whatever reason.
  12. I totally agree, Russ Brandon is the reason this team hasn't and cannot win. I can just tell all he cares about is finding that soft zone between selling tickets and not winning.
  13. My expectations are the organizations should absolutely be turned around within the year of new regimes. This is ridiculous that they haven't been able to completely overhaul things to this point.
  14. The first part of the process is try your best to be reasonable as a fan - stop thinking 5-2 and a 3 game slide hides the fact the coach came in after most of the draft prep was done and our GM was hired after. Like it or not, it's just too early to know what the team will look like at the time appropriate for them to be judged.
  15. Watching the Eagles has me feeling Reich would have been the better choice. Watching the Eagles has me feeling Reich would have been the better choice.
  16. Oh by the way - if this FO gets a draft pick for Taylor - I'm officially loving what they are doing.
  17. You're being too hard on yourself. Just say you retain unusual amounts of water and that you're working on getting taller to dissipate the weight.
  18. That's a lot of food you're ordering for one person.
  19. C'mon. I don't think they are near the same thing.
  20. Can't believe we'd do this just so we don't have to deal with Tyrod in the off season, sigh.
  21. I think their public apology is letting Peterman start.
  22. If that's his theory then he's wrong. What an immature take at trying to be insightful.
  23. I'm of this very opinion. He only invites/given a handful of prospects - so they're already presumed to be the best of that class. Within the show is him showing film of the good and bad and gives them advice. Then there's a chalk board session and an outside session. He also gives them an opportunity to answer some negatives that already being said about them, ie, some say you're only a mobile QB, some say you don't have the arm strength, some say you can't operate under center, some say you weren't asked to read defenses, etc. It gives the viewer an opportunity to make their own opinion even though it always ends up with Gruden being positive overall about the player.
