  1. So you'd want Dareus at that contract because Kyle will likely retire? The rest of your garble is something we'd have to deal with eventually anyway.
  2. Well at least we have something in common with you. You voted to screw you and so did we.
  3. He should be on the wall of fame too.
  4. That's exactly right. I will not listen to the equality narrative any longer unless some of the concerns I have get heard. The ladder is right there, just climb on out. No need to keep telling me your stuck. No need to keep blaming everyone but yourself and those close to you that helped you be stuck. Just take the first step on that ladder, then the next, until you're out. Changing the mindset of some white racist isn't going to climb that ladder for you.
  5. Why? He would seriously downgrade their fast attacking offense. I'd send him there with no hesitation.
  6. If this were to happen, I would 100% stop watching NFL football.
  7. I can afford a lot of things I don't buy.
  8. There's not many LB's that can do both - that's why there's such a premium on those that can.
  9. There's times when our mindset as a fanbase is as bad as the teams we've had. Who cares to think about someone getting credit who's no longer a part of the organization?
  10. Zo brings much more value overall than Zach. Bradham, while a completely different LB than Zo, is a good player.
  11. Did you expect something different from a pass rushing - run stopping specialist?
  12. We're getting decent pressure but the issue is nothing happening lately from the left side (Lawson). We don't blitz a ton too - so we elect to stay in coverage. Overall I'm ok with how their calling the game.
  13. Good post, really. Not to start an argument but America and it's tax payers have put an awful lot of money towards education also for those who need it. We've made many positive steps and continue to take more and more of them. This is what's frustrating - a lot has changed except the vitriol towards white people and America.
  14. In the near future QB's will throw with either hand and avoid this problem. It'll be the modern tool to throw defenses off too.
  15. I think relocation should be taken out of this discussion only because it's just so obvious that would have the biggest effect. I'll always root for the Buffalo Bills but I could see myself getting awfully dejected if the next QB doesn't work out.
  16. "One of the best in the league" isn't the same as top 5? Maybe you read incorrectly?
  17. I agree Boyst. Coupled with what you've posted - the possibility for improvement lives in that environment. In season improvement is something we haven't seen in many years.
  18. We were weak at WR, c'mon and RB is still a strength when your #1 is one of the best in the game. The run game results have changed (blocking scheme, injuries) but we weren't strong because of our backup
  19. It's all of the above. The NFL did a great job of locking in the hard core viewer and luring in the casual fan. You push push push on fans and eventually you push them out. The core football fans will put up with almost everything - ticket prices, idiot players, dumb penalties, terrible guys/gals calling the game, hideous online coverage, bad leadership/decisions by the league, etc. However the casual fan can break away easier and find something else to do. The anthem thing is damaging and it's not even about that actual act but within that act is a disdain for the fans/customer. The owners and commissioner quickly recognized this and are trying to put a stop to it but the players want it. They are mad that they aren't allowed to upset the customer and just don't get it. What Sterling Sharpe and Greg Jennings said last night was absolutely ignorant. They literally cannot understand how the fans are linked in this.
  20. You're missing it. It won't go away so long as people perpetuate a false narrative. It's not about truth or if it's going to/is better. It's about making sure people hold on to their anger by people that benefit from the anger.
  21. It's amazing that he's stupid enough to think people don't label Rogers and Carr as mobile. Hey dummy, they are mobile and are also great at passing in the pocket. That's what we want you to do. This moron thinks his "lack of statistical production" (as the article said) - is because it's not actually true and is only being said because he's black? Wow! How are black QB's held to a higher standard when they are automatically thought of as only mobile (according to him)? That would be a lower standard - that would mean people automatically do not expect them to be pocket passers. His argument doesn't make any sense. This is an example of why incorrectly inserting race hurts the AA community - it causes people to become deaf to their hope to be heard and muffles the voices that need to be heard.
  22. Taylor discussed the notion that most African-American passers are labeled as “mobile” while noting that white quarterbacks such as Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr — who are both athletic — get labeled as pocket passers. “They claim that we’re not that accurate from the pocket. I’m not sure why,” Taylor said. “Even though they’re ‘mobile’ guys, they don’t necessarily take on the same criticism as others. It probably is unfair.” The whole premise doesn't make sense. Wouldn't this mean they'd be held to a lower standard?
  23. The real problem with this team is the strength and conditioning coach. These injuries don't happen to other teams. Imagine the career Charles Clay could have had with a team that doesn't take things like this as lightly.
