I don't know that streaming will ever work let alone be the future. It sucks and there's no easy way to fix it. I do agree that the NFL will see a decline but the base is strong enough to stabilize it. They still have a huge challenge in front of them. Video recorders have taken some of the value out of live advertising, they've already maxed out the stadium dollars and for various reasons the excitement has been diluted. The NFL needs Directv way more than Directv needs the NFL now.

I do not believe the NFL is going to bring back viewers they have lost just based on people I know that won't come back. Maybe Amazon can show where they can limit how many additional viewers they lose by using their relationship with their customers. I do not see this working out awfully well for the NFL. Just like players that didn't want to make sure the strength of contracts were there for future players these players that are protesting now do not care about the future of the NFL existing as it does now.

I didn't look up any numbers but it feels like Shady takes himself out quite a bit more than I'd like.

This team is changing - you can clearly see it. Don't have to have big names on defense and $100M players, etc - just a group of guys that play for each other and get it done. We as a fan base should change too. Predicting 9 games is a sign of the past and I'm not doing it. These guys have played hard enough to earn change on our end.

That's exactly right. I will not listen to the equality narrative any longer unless some of the concerns I have get heard. The ladder is right there, just climb on out. We're getting decent pressure but the issue is nothing happening lately from the left side (Lawson). We don't blitz a ton too - so we elect to stay in coverage. Overall I'm ok with how their calling the game.

Good post, really. Not to start an argument but America and it's tax payers have put an awful lot of money towards education also for those who need it. We've made many positive steps and continue to take more and more of them. This is what's frustrating - a lot has changed except the vitriol towards white people and America.

In the near future QB's will throw with either hand and avoid this problem. It'll be the modern tool to throw defenses off too.

I think relocation should be taken out of this discussion only because it's just so obvious that would have the biggest effect. I'll always root for the Buffalo Bills but I could see myself getting awfully dejected if the next QB doesn't work out.
