  1. I'm not sure if you're referring to people outside of NC considering it the South or the folks from here. I can tell you the people here definitely consider themselves southerners.
  2. I'm not understanding what your saying. Why are you saying NC isn't the south?
  3. I think we'll find a way to win 9 games this year.
  4. They only play 16 regular season games and there's no way 8-11 would win the division anyway.
  5. I love having this guy on our team. I hope we sign him to a long deal.
  6. Really surprised at this "youngish" post from you.
  7. I grew up in the Southtowns too (Orchard Park Rd) - John and Mary's subs, oh man were they good. I'm guessing they used Costanzo's bread.
  8. I could have sworn there were more teams
  9. I agree it's tough to predict but there's some real professional QB's and Head coaches in there that make me a bit more concerned than most years.
  10. Maybe so - then I'd suppose you'd put them in the "toss up" column. It just seems like less - should win games this year, is my point.
  11. I look at the QB, head coach and organization. Looking at the schedule it's legitimately tough because most have a combination of those 3 - which make me a little more concerned about the toss up games. I also usually have more than 2 should win games in mind - so for me there's a little more probably should lose games and a bit more toss up games than a typical year for me. Probably should lose - Panthers, Broncos, Falcons, Bucs, Raiders, Patriots (2) Toss ups - Bengals, Saints, Chargers, Chiefs, Dolphins (2), Colts Should win - Jets (2)
  12. I'm pretty sure he's legit. I went to the Panthers luncheon one year for the PSL owners. Basically you had lunch with one of the players and their names were drawn to a table assignment. We ate with a 4 year pro from Georgia that was drafted by Indy. He said "go ahead, ask me what you'd like to know about Manning". His stories were pretty eye opening into the freakish dedication he had.
  13. The young man has problems. Heading into a year of opportunity to be a starter with us he gets caught with pot. He makes knucklehead decisions.
  14. This show is far superior to Hard Knocks. I like Gregg Williams and his defensive prowess speaks for itself. Sometimes you have to be a nut. Could you imagine dealing with a player like Gilmore? He won't tackle so you might get fired - and he's going to sign a huge contract. I'd yell at him non-stop.
  15. Wait until you hear Waufle. The dude screams just to hear himself scream. The players might really like him because they can't show everything but dang that guy was annoying on Hard Knocks.
  16. I'm not arguing his point. I'm saying it's rude to argue in front of my customers with my employer on how much money I make. Especially when it's more than my customers make. It makes them uncomfortable and changes how they feel about buying from me.
  17. You're missing the core issue with the tweet. The people funding everyone involved in the NFL getting rich just don't want it communicated to them in such a flippant way. I would be upset if Pegula tweeted - We gotta get paid more - NBA reducing their share with players should mean us too. #2018goingbehuge
  18. Trying to lead you to the water - so it's not about you making me feel better. The answer is they have a budding superstar QB. What I'm trying to say is you're incorrect.
  19. So it has very little to do with Carr - his son is just now making everyone work harder? There's no way you can possibly know Brady and Billy work harder than everyone they play - and that's only 2 people working harder even if that's true.
  20. It take more than hard work in most businesses. A good product, timing, a little luck also play into most successful businesses. The Raiders were a joke for 12 years after losing the SB - now they've been "working harder" the last 2 years?
  21. How else am I going to get a QB?
  22. I thought I convinced you to come to my way of thinking?
