  1. Tyrod's numbers didn't change all that much with or without Sammy and we went 5 and 3 - so that should tell you a lot more about Tyrod than Sammy. Sammy Watkins, IMO, is an immensely talented 24 year old. Anyone that says a team is better without him on the field - you should, without hesitation, stop listening to another word they say.
  2. That's awful. I hate hearing about a suicide. It always makes me wish I could have some time with any of these folks before they do this. Not that I'm some great person or anything but every single time - I just wish I could have tried to help.
  3. The majority of the people on this board haven't even commented in this thread - let alone are "butt hurt". You're not even close on yet another assumption. That's where you, the other fringe, comes in (see where you are now?) You broad stroke every fan into your little hate painting. There's an equal amount shaking their head not commenting to you. You're an angry troll spitting BS towards the people you think are "butt hurt". You think you're the smart one having a one up on them but the majority is laughing at you in the same vein.
  4. There's two fringes. The ones that actually take his comment overly serious and those that think everyone is taking it overly serious. In between is the majority that think it's just funny when an athlete posts something stupid and then when fans give him some jazz back. You hate everything Buffalo so you'll never get that and you will never see you're the fringe.
  5. This is what small minded people think that can't take a joke. You'll never see that you look as foolish as the people that did take actual offense and get mad.
  6. I equally don't get why people get so upset when fans give players a little ribbing when they post something like this. Who cares that Buffalo fans are giving him some exaggerated crap over the tweet? Of course there might be some fans taking it way too seriously but it's funny reading or hearing about the banter.
  7. At first I was like Kirby has lost his mind - but I get you now. Good stuff!
  8. I'm not sure if you're referring to people outside of NC considering it the South or the folks from here. I can tell you the people here definitely consider themselves southerners.
  9. I'm not understanding what your saying. Why are you saying NC isn't the south?
  10. I think we'll find a way to win 9 games this year.
  11. They only play 16 regular season games and there's no way 8-11 would win the division anyway.
  12. I love having this guy on our team. I hope we sign him to a long deal.
  13. Really surprised at this "youngish" post from you.
  14. I grew up in the Southtowns too (Orchard Park Rd) - John and Mary's subs, oh man were they good. I'm guessing they used Costanzo's bread.
  15. I could have sworn there were more teams
  16. I agree it's tough to predict but there's some real professional QB's and Head coaches in there that make me a bit more concerned than most years.
  17. Maybe so - then I'd suppose you'd put them in the "toss up" column. It just seems like less - should win games this year, is my point.
  18. I look at the QB, head coach and organization. Looking at the schedule it's legitimately tough because most have a combination of those 3 - which make me a little more concerned about the toss up games. I also usually have more than 2 should win games in mind - so for me there's a little more probably should lose games and a bit more toss up games than a typical year for me. Probably should lose - Panthers, Broncos, Falcons, Bucs, Raiders, Patriots (2) Toss ups - Bengals, Saints, Chargers, Chiefs, Dolphins (2), Colts Should win - Jets (2)
  19. I'm pretty sure he's legit. I went to the Panthers luncheon one year for the PSL owners. Basically you had lunch with one of the players and their names were drawn to a table assignment. We ate with a 4 year pro from Georgia that was drafted by Indy. He said "go ahead, ask me what you'd like to know about Manning". His stories were pretty eye opening into the freakish dedication he had.
  20. The young man has problems. Heading into a year of opportunity to be a starter with us he gets caught with pot. He makes knucklehead decisions.
  21. This show is far superior to Hard Knocks. I like Gregg Williams and his defensive prowess speaks for itself. Sometimes you have to be a nut. Could you imagine dealing with a player like Gilmore? He won't tackle so you might get fired - and he's going to sign a huge contract. I'd yell at him non-stop.
  22. Wait until you hear Waufle. The dude screams just to hear himself scream. The players might really like him because they can't show everything but dang that guy was annoying on Hard Knocks.
  23. I'm not arguing his point. I'm saying it's rude to argue in front of my customers with my employer on how much money I make. Especially when it's more than my customers make. It makes them uncomfortable and changes how they feel about buying from me.
