  1. I couldn't find those videos you did with Philadelia (I think that's how you spell it). Is she no longer doing that and what happened to the video's on youtube?
  2. I like Benoit but he needs to get over himself with comments like this. Alexander wasn't as good as his numbers indicated - he was tied for 3rd in sacks and fell between 44-49 in hurries. A player that's as good as his sack numbers should be closer to the top in hurries (24 is top 15, 40 the top slot). If McDermott agreed to extend him - he fits in the system. Why should we think Benoit can raise that question?
  3. I think that's the point Benoit is making. Tyrod isn't the type of QB that throws to a spot with anticipation and timing from a good route running WR. He's better at the "get open" - I'll see you and throw it type of QB. This is why a more talented WR vs technically sound WR fits us better at this time.
  4. This is hilarious. "From a gut-feeling perspective, I probably lean slightly more in the direction that Buffalo might be more inclined to match,” he wrote.
  5. Yeah because if he was out running hills, stairs or route running - we'd be happy with how he's progressing and not thinking about him hurting his foot.
  6. Would you be happier if he was running hills or stairs to get in football condition? I see no difference in risk vs seeing a video of him at a high school field stopping, starting and cutting routes. If I saw such a video I'd be starring at his foot nervous as hell and would be thinking - please be careful. However I have to understand these NFL players have surgery - go through professional rehab - then they start using that injured part of their body again. I get that he could land on a foot, etc but I'd imagine he's not going down low for rebounds. He's most likely getting some conditioning in and being smart on how hard he goes. Can we never give a guy the benefit of the doubt?
  7. No I get it and agree - but what else is there to do but see if someone offers you something crazy who may want a QB? I'm not advocating because at some point you have to start building but it appears they're awfully attracted to getting more and more picks.
  8. If he's playing basketball, I have to think he feels the foot is good. That's enough for me. He doesn't need to live in a bubble just because the Bills haven't picked up his option. They will but if they don't he's going to get paid. Go play hoops if you want to Sammy.
  9. Pretty cool how our offensive line makes a low tier RB look really good.
  10. They could be trying to see if a team wants to make an offer for the 1st overall pick.
  11. You've just been a joy lately.
  12. This is actually bad news for this young very stupid kid and the Bills. I think he could have been a strong possibility not only for us to draft but that he could have gone before our pick - sliding one more option to us.
  13. Care to name these new owners that have turned over control to top level advisors and franchise overseers? In both sports, please.
  14. You're right - you don't know much about hockey.
  15. IMO they are making a mistake signing Gillislee. They have a significant amount of money tied up at the RB position and they're all extremely small. None of them can do what Blount did for them last year and they're going to miss him. Blount would come for 2 years and 5-5.75 million. We would play them and take their 5th round pick.
  16. I would absolutely let NE have him and sign Blount the next day. Blount and Shady would be a perfect duo.
  17. McGahee was 14 years ago which proves my point Maybin wasn't a cute pick and was 8 years ago Parrish maybe Spiller yes So one maybe and one yes in 20 years or so - yeah that definitely proves we have a history of taking "cute" picks. Care to try again?
  18. Sammy's 5th year option will be picked up shortly after the vet camp.
  19. I think NE made a mistake here. If they move on from Blount and go with some combination of Gillislee, Lewis, White and Burkhead - their running game got downgraded significantly IMO. The power Blount brought and his 18 TD's will be missed.
  20. We're not a team that historically makes "cute" 1st round picks at all.
  21. He also wants us to trade away Hughes to do that. Rushing the QB is critical and most definitely in McDermott's scheme.
  22. To this team he's already worth the 5th year option money. I think this has to be about whether that foot is a real long term concern. April 20th is veteran camp and after they're satisfied the foot is good - they will pick up the 5th year.
