  1. Rick Harrison doesn't seem like a schmuck to me - he appears to be wicked smart.
  2. He's one of only a few running backs in the game that alone makes your offense a problem to deal with. Our defense really brought down the fantastic year he had last year. A true superstar in the game.
  3. Then you look at our roster and go, uh oh, they are pretty talented.
  4. They weren't meant to. The point is it's ridiculous to pretend you know who's good and who isn't because there's always good and bad situations. Gruden won a SB - he deserves credit. Dungy couldn't win in TB but he won with Peyton - he deserves credit. Belichick has Brady - but he deserves credit too. To say Gruden winning the super bowl against the Raiders was astronomical luck is just not correct.
  5. I wanted EJ to succeed so badly but he's just not an NFL starter.
  6. You mean in the same way Dungy faced Lovie Smith in the SB? Belichick would be fine without Brady too I guess?
  7. I really like your point of views and I agree with this one too. This team is talented. I really like our offensive and defensive lines and in my mind it starts there. If those lines are good it gives every other position opportunity. Do some positions need to be sorted out by the best player winning the job? Of course Am I concerned about corners, safeties, LB's, 2nd WR and depth? Of course
  8. Guys huddle round - build the team to win a wildcard and not the division, ok? Ok End of meeting
  9. So you're saying he's lying about his financial situation and you know he needs the money for the hereafter - because of spending irresponsibly when he was young?
  10. I agree with you on this.
  11. Might be the kind of guy as a defensive coach that sees him as tough guy for a defense to cover.
  12. Yeah it's nothing compared to beautiful Baltimore and Detroit.
  13. Oh c'mon. You put out a scenario that you'd feel better about being a potential playoff team with a player that can't be on the team in MG - then play hopeful? Let's see how things play out before giving up on the team because of a back up running back went elsewhere. It's reasonable to think with Tyrod's play last year and a real good defense - we'd have a shot at the post season. You don't have to love Tyrod to know what has to happen.
  14. Yeah because usually teams trade a player on their rookie contract to a higher pick then they were drafted.
  15. I still enjoy rooting for this team every single year. The older I get the more fun it is because I'm able to put my love for the Bills in perspective. I hate when we lose but it doesn't ruin the rest of my day. I might still have emotions about a loss or being ousted from playoff contention and I just come here to express my opinion. I mean what the heck they're my team, our team, ever since I was a young boy. I'm not going to just stop hoping they win or being interested in the off season changes and moves. I have absolutely no communion with fellow fans that hate the team or bash them at every turn. In fact I give them crap on here constantly and will continue to do so, because I don't get it, not even a little bit.
  16. Miami is about an hour from his home, Tampa is 3.5 hours and Jacksonville is over 4 hours. Unless he gets on with Miami the family nor he would drive to Tampa or Jax. Would it really be that much more convenient if you're flying anyway?
  17. But how do you use the ugly girl to get the pretty ones to give you more money?
  18. I think he may still sign with us also. I'd guess that they had a conversation about what role they'd like him to play and he may be thinking about where he feels he fits in to what the Bills had to say. Then he's probably thinking about whether he'd like to take that opportunity or wait for another. I heard on the WGR an interview with a Detroit guy that stated he played 100% from the slot. So to me it comes down to do the Bills think Zay can learn enough and get enough playing time at the same spot they may foresee Zay getting time at - slot. I'm not saying Zay won't be an outside guy but I'm thinking Holmes or Streater will win the outside spot this year - then they'd like to work Zay in at slot. I'm sure that's what Boldin's questions where. Where do you see me in the offense?
  19. Normally I would agree with this post and the don't overpay approach. However on a one year deal - to overspend by 1-2 mil shouldn't be the reason not to sign a vet if the need is big enough. My hunch is the conversation is about what role does each side foresee and does that role help or delay Zay Jones. When you're dealing with a vet on a one year deal - the team knows what kind of salary he's expecting long before he comes in to visit. I can't imagine a scenario where the Bills were thinking 2.5 mil and he wants 7 - then both sides say "holy crap, we're not doing that" - then the player leaves.
  20. I'm with you 3rd. I think he's the kind of player that would help Sammy get free, Zay grow instead of being pushed into a certain role and he'll help Tyrod as a safety valve - also will probably help Tyrod go through progression.
  21. It doesn't look like he wants it from what 20 seconds of footage? Good grief!
