  1. That list has nothing to do with what we're doing with our first pick.
  2. The draft isn't the best way to build a winning team - it's to solve the riddle of finding a QB. He didn't do that in his 4 years as GM. He did build a great 4-3 defense and stocked the team decently with skilled offensive players. Rex obviously switched defenses and he tried his best to re-tool the defense for his wants/needs. It was a colossal failure and I put more of that on Rex than Whaley. Now we're switching back and that can't all be blamed on Whaley. The '14, '15 and '16 drafts have not been bad. I get that you don't like the trades but talent is on this team.
  3. "He could easily switch to safety". Good grief where does this stuff come from?
  4. I'll be intrigued with whoever they draft and I hope our first round pick becomes a star.
  5. That's not good. They'll take longer to warm up in the Buffalo cold.
  6. In his highlights video there's a few things that stood out to me. One is given his speed he didn't get that much separation. Second, a lot of his catches were NFL type because he caught a lot of balls with good coverage on him. Thirdly he doesn't seem to catch the ball with his hands and relies on catching with bent arms and using his body. I hope he can contribute but I don't see him as a diamond in the rough.
  7. A new coaching still with an entirely different defense wanting to meet with him makes perfect sense.
  8. I agree we should kick the can - definitely wouldn't want to kick the tires on Peterson.
  9. I guess if you're looking for a QB that if he has to play can win games - Cutler could fill that role. If you're looking for an addition to the QB room - Cutler doesn't seem like that guy. Obviously Cutler isn't a fit for our run heavy - ball control offense but when the starter goes down things change. However outside of Sammy and Clay - we have no real idea if the receivers have the ability to thrive in Cutlers sling it style. I wouldn't mind Cutler on our team if we don't draft a QB this year. If we do, I'd want Jones to slide into the #2 slot.
  10. They'll even screw that up.
  11. Yes we could have so that tells you they didn't want to pay him.
  12. You really think those 5 players are worth around $34 million per year? What would suck is to have to pay them that.
  13. You gave me life, you gave me milk, you gave me courage. Your name was Angela, the angel from heaven. But you were also an angel of God, and He needed you, too. Selfishly, I tried to keep you here, while the cancer ate away your organs, like an unstoppable rebel force, but I couldn't save you, and I shall see your face nevermore, nevermore, nevermore. Until we meet in Heaven.
  14. If you drafted one every year and sometimes 2 per year - how would you ever know you found your diamond?
  15. At first I had an open mind. From what I've seen they have brought very little. This site certainly got significantly diluted since they've joining us. Sorry to those that have brought good football discussion but the majority drowned the ability for this to have been a good thing for us.
  16. I agree with your point but don't that your example is proof.
  17. Will everyone stop wanting to trade one of our most important players and more importantly one of the main reasons the team can attempt to absorb Tyrod's shortcomings.
  18. Except Sammy and Harvin hardly played together and when they did it wasn't great. Go look at the numbers. Harvin slightly stepped up when Sammy had a slow start then Harvin got hurt.
  19. He can't play forever. It will end sooner or later.
