I like Shead a lot and was hoping we'd be interested. Big kid that plays physical. If he didn't tear his ACL - he would have cost a team a large sum - still might.
I think their interest in another pass catching TE is an indication of the type of passer they view Tyrod as - so it makes sense. However I don't see them overpaying for Cook. My guess is he didn't like what he heard so he'll keep looking.
On the other hand I would have given Bennett whatever it took - he would have been a difference maker.
I see the Bills being very interested in Howard in the draft and will attempt to trade back to get him. Attempt.
Yeah thanks JJ. I've been with Directv nearly 20 years and I have complained about the very thing the scam is representing. They would have probably got me if it came from that number.
I wouldn't touch this guy and people are getting all nuts about him - especially for the money he's likely to get.
He's a dud that's never matched his hype with on field play. He can't hold Clay's jock.
Tyrod isn't a 2:00 drill kind of QB. He's a guy that extends drives with his athletic ability and keeps you in the game by not turning the ball over. With a top 10 defense he can win double digit games. He's who we have so until there's a better option they're building the team around winning with him. They know he's not a 10 year starter so they'll look to get lucky with a long term answer.
Good thing is he left us with Ragland, Lawson and Washington which fit McDermott's system perfectly. If the offense can do what they did last year we have a good chance of being right there for the wild card.
