  1. Bellichick McCarthy - IMO the most underrated coach in the NFL. Tomlin Reid
  2. I just heard Terry and Whaley want the same coach but are arguing who gets to say they wanted him publicly. Kim and Monos want another coach and neither want to say they do. There's a big argument happening as we speak and Sullivan and Vic are outside the door listening.
  3. Guess I didn't realize it was pick a past coach at today's age.
  4. I like Lynn alright but I don't want to go through the experiment of whether someone with such little coordinator experience can be a HC. Just my personal preference. I know there's loads of examples where experience doesn't mean much but it's what I think this team needs. I think we're a team that needs real direction. I think someone like Haley or even Spagnuolo is what I'd like to see.
  5. I'd be perfectly fine with Jones starting. I know he's not "ready" or whatever but he's got the balls to do it. I'd see how it goes and draft one the following year.
  6. Nah it's not that. They pick and choose which teams they talk trash about and which ones they adore. We're one of the easy targets for them.
  7. He's better than 2015 Osweiler and Manning, IMO.
  8. He might be but Trevor Siemian should have been perfect for them too but it wasn't enough. He had comparable numbers in terms of fine for a team with a staunch defense. However Denver wasn't the defense of 2015 so they'd have to return to form to be able to absorb Taylor too.
  9. That sounds cute but what "winner" is looking for a QB? Houston possibly but that's about it and they'd have to eat a ton of money at the QB position. A 7-9 team is about as good a choice as he'll get - not saying that's us but his choices are limited. Edit: I'd also put Denver in that mix and possibly the Cardinals.
  10. Ok dirtbag I see what you're saying. If he limits them he cares because he's devoting attention - but that's also the definition of not caring in our context (me and 26corner).
  11. He's definitely not a problem but he's also not a QB that can win a close game. He's proven that. With a killer defense he'd get a team to the playoffs - absolutely believe that. If he needs to lead the last drive into a score - he's not your guy. That happens a lot in the NFL. So there's the conundrum.
  12. Fair point. It's not like Whaley has been the GM for 10 years. I along with ownership believe he evaluates talent well and we're giving him a chance to get better and better. There's no magic way of getting a QB - otherwise I think he's drafted decent - been excellent at picking up FA's, IMO.
  13. You really are an ignoramus for this kind of post. Our owner is a fantastic person and he'll get it figured out.
  14. Because in hindsight everyone thinks they're smart.
  15. The only reason an owner would begin to care about the media is if they diminish earnings. No one is spending less on the Bills because of TBN. There's zero chance the Pegulas care if Graham and Sullivan like the GM.
  16. We've had our issues finding a QB but one of them hasn't been hanging with them too long. We move on when it's time.
  17. More childish acts by the BN because they've been shut out from access to the team.
  18. I can't believe he'd agree to interview for this dysfunctional Bills, haha.
  19. The Amazon series on the Cardinals was far superior. However I still find hard knocks intriguing enough to watch it.
  20. I see no down side to this.
  21. The Bills have been beyond fair to Tyrod. A 3 year deal that voids after 2 if he starts - they honored it and he would have been a free agent after this season. Instead of making him play out that second year after voiding the 3rd - they pay him very good money in that 2nd year instead and give him an opportunity to earn huge money. We have now paid him and we either pay him 30 million or he gets a chance to get the most he can get in free agency. They have been incredibly gracious to him.
  22. This is really a misinformed take. There's a ton of successful head coaches that call plays. Calling plays is one of the most important responsibilities in all of football - it's critical the right person is doing it.
  23. This is such BS. The Pegula's by all accounts seem like really great people and would appear to be fantastic to work for. Bills fans should be proud to have such owners that attract people to their genuine nature. I will never forget a Billionaire crying that this is our team and they're staying. They desperately want continuity - that's extremely attractive for any hopeful head coach to be. Our facilities are outstanding and I mean outstanding - even with an old stadium. There's approximately 4-6 openings every year to be an NFL head coach and getting snubbed is a ridiculously lazy small minded view. Teams needing coaches are typically in a state of uncertainty. Why the hell else would they be looking for a new coach - except in the irregular cases like Denver this year for example? Every new coach knows he's going into a challenging situation that almost always means the QB situation is unsettled. Don't pay attention to blowhards like King and fellow posters that just love to mire in this type of crap.
  24. Russ will lead the effort on getting hard knocks for the Bills but our training camp will be in Canada.
