Hey Bart - every single defensive player got worse under Rex this year. Splain that you donkey! Anyone with an ounce of football knowledge knows that when every defensive weapon you have besides Kyle - who was playing his position got outshined by a 33 year old special teams player, that's a problem.

There's no reason to win this game for the betterment of the team. Of course the players won't feel this way but it's absolutely how a fan should feel. The added benefit of possibly dropping the Jets a couple spots too.

I'm sure McDaniels is crazy smart. I would be perfectly fine with him coming here but there are things to worry about. Obviously his time in Denver is something that has to be looked at and it's perfectly reasonable to think that in 7 years at his age he was still learning. What troubles me the most is when he doesn't have Brady he's failed. In 2011 as the Rams OC they were the worst offense in the NFL with 12.1 ppg (2-8 record with Sam Bradford in his 2nd year) - coming off a 2010 7-9 record. To me these are the indicators and also the obvious situations he'll likely be in with a new team not winning. So the question remains, is he one of the games great offensive minds or is the work just so easy with Brady?

We've been incredibly lucky with really good kicking over the last 30+ years. Norwood, Christie, Lindell had some pretty nice careers with long stretches. Carpenter seemed to be on his way to being another place kicker with a long career here. I blame Rex for this too. If you all will remember this was the first player Rex attacked in the media after arriving. That whole "they're just kickers" mentality is old and immature. Rex really is a neanderthal - grow up and treat every player with respect. Carp was injured and never recovered mentally from Rex getting in his head - which is something you never ever should do, unless you're going to make a change.

Actually he said "it's my responsibility just like everything on that field. I have big shoulders and I'll take it, but I know what happened." Rex, when you say most ridiculous, what happened? "I know what it is, but I'm not gonna get into it." To me this is the problem. He doesn't actually take responsibility even though he tries so hard to act like it. Really frustrating to see him talk like this time and again. "There's a lot of things on film that when you look at it you're like, man. Boy that sure looks like a pass interference but it wasn't called. Then here's this and here's that and to overcome all that it's just painful." Not one mention of what he and his coaching staff did wrong. So you do want to get into it Rex, you just don't want to talk about what you and your staff did wrong. He deflects so much he blinds himself - purposely. No wonder our players play with the same lack of accountability.

I totally agree. I actually didn't like that some of the other players where letting that coach go so crazy. That coach was the one out of control.
