  1. I didn't but we can't ignore that a missed FG caused us to need to go for a TD on 4th down with our back up QB. We have a young and inexperienced QB that when the defense plays that great , and can ill afford to have the special teams to play that badly.
  2. In todays game - he was throwing the deep ball under duress - hence as you mention off his back foot. The deep ball needs to be thrown when you can properly deploy good mechanics. It's just part of the process of watching a young QB learn I suppose. There's so much to like about him and I think he gets there.
  3. Allen didn't get his punt blocked, miss a FG and kick a 22 yard punt.
  4. And a punter who kicks the ball 22 yards.
  5. He's certainly better than our special teams. They stink.
  6. It's hard when he has to play against our own special teams. They failed the test yet again.
  7. They haven't looked great. They squeaked by in 2 of the 3 games that they should have won handily. We have a lot of growing up to do offensively. I'm not saying we can't win but we can't play the way we have - it must be better.
  8. But I thought Allen had a "proclivity to hold onto the ball, testing the offensive line every possession".
  9. I feel like he makes me anxious when he's going crazy like that. It's like I get stressed our for him as he's trying to get all those words out in a rush. He is funny and I've learned to like watching him. Seems like a pretty cool guy.
  10. I didn't want Mayfield or Jackson passionately. I liked Darnold the best but didn't think there was any chance of getting him, so I really starting choosing between the Josh's, in my own way. I wanted Allen over Rosen and it wasn't close for me. So I went into draft day loving Darnold, knowing we wouldn't get him and hoping we would get Allen. My sons and I ran around the house when we got him.
  11. I'm not posting this to bash Joe B but I think credibility for knowing how to look at film matters. Just saying you looked at film is still dependent on ones ability to translate what they're seeing. Making the statement Josh Allen holding on to the ball for an average of 2.94 seconds as a "proclivity" (ridiculous), tested the Bills offensive line every possession is pretty absurd. What if it results in a 25 yard pass or he's properly going through his progressions or no one is open? On that comment it's hard for me to take him seriously. Maybe there's more substance/context in the article because I don't subscribe to The Athletic.
  12. At 21 years old, you'd think he'd have the MLB position mastered by now at the NFL level.
  13. His wife predicts we will win.
  14. It wasn't from the Jameis Winston call sheet. You have to watch the game to understand context. Not to say Josh hasn't thrown it across his body while retreating - but I don't think that's what happened. To me it was clear he was trying to avoid a penalty. Either way - it was a mistake and it's part of watching a young QB grow. What really needs to be evaluated is what Allen does after that. He comes back with a game winning drive - that's what to be excited about Allen. We won because of our defense and Josh Allen's resilience.
  15. You don't know that.
  16. Any given Sunday
  17. Not for the helmet company, they dropped him.
  18. Both parties are ridiculous here.
