  1. Seattle was playing a legit defense. We can't find flow offensively against the lower tier defenses. That's the issue and the reason at 6-2 and certainly now at 6-3 - we're not taken seriously nationally. It's also the reason for our own fans to be skeptical. We know the way we're playing offense isn't leading us anywhere substantial beyond possibly getting a WC. I see Allen's mistakes but I don't see him as the reason for the dreadful play. We look completely unprepared to combat what the defenses are doing and personally I put that on Daboll.
  2. One thing for sure I put on Daboll is designed plays. We have very little and those we have aren't used timely. Designed plays have beat us consistently the past few weeks. That's coaching.
  3. You don't think Kitchens called the better game?
  4. Ok, then no I don't want them doing that.
  5. What's "kick the tires"?
  6. Players are hardly mouth pieces. In today's NFL they are free to say whatever they want - even if it's to the detriment of the team and/or themselves. The fact the Bills players rally around the FO, Coaches, system, city and each other - isn't because they're controlled mouth pieces - it's because change has come. Oh snap, did I not figure out you were being sarcastic?
  7. One thing I know for sure is watching the NFL as it is now - is not near as enjoyable as it once was for me.
  8. Is this an example of him doing so much we don't know about? This must be him taking on multiple offensive lineman so everyone else can make the play and get the glory.
  9. Good post but I'd like to see the how be better.
  10. Then say you want them to do it for serious reasons - not kicking tires.
  11. I think he's being smart. The team is 0-8, so no reason to risk further injury. In addition Ryan Finley is his new QB and Dalton likely gone. He'll take this time to get healthy and get a sign a 3-4 year deal in the off season. I think he wants to be loyal to the Bengals as he often references admiration for Fitzgerald. However he'll get some time to see what they do with QB and make a good decision. I'd sign him with no hesitation.
  12. The point that's being made is that all this stuff does matter everywhere except not as much on the field. I'd argue the type of person he is, helps tremendously on it also.
  13. I never quite understood these posts. The GM and head coach are extremely busy people. It's a time consuming process to bring in a player for a workout. I'd say, it would be at least 20 hours of work you'd be asking from the entire organization. I don't want them kicking any tires and taking time away from more important things.
  14. I think this should also be mentioned. Allen - 247 rushing yards and 4 TD's Brady - 3 rushing yards and 3 TD's Jackson - 637 rushing yards and 5 TD's Jimmy G - 32 rushing yards and 1 TD Goff - 16 rushing yards and 2 TD's
  15. I've been saying Star is awful for a couple years now and he had his worst game I've seen this past Sunday. He was totally inept and a replacement is needed at his position stat.
  16. This is exactly right. Look at tonight's Thursday night game - the 49ers gave up much more than they have been. It's a week by week situation in the NFL and the fact is we've played really good defense 6 out of 7 weeks.
  17. Some people like talking apples to oranges.
  18. I discovered perogies way too late in life. I could have been eating these so much earlier and it really makes me mad.
  19. What possible connection could there be?
  20. I forget exactly where it was said but word was Beane sees next year as the year. I presume that means he'll spend the rest of the cap and trade as necessary. It makes sense. Your young QB is in year 3 and 2 years away from a huge contract. Try to win in those two years and then after Josh is hopefully ready in year 6 to do more with less. You then trim the contracts out and give the money to him.
