IDK but to me this is the most read and react time of the game. There's nothing comfortable about it, it's when the good QB's emerge and the bad ones falter.
Zay was given every possible opportunity to flourish in Buffalo. He started many games and played a lot of snaps. He didn't produce - for whatever reason. He needed to go - nothing cruel about how Zay was treated. Therefore there's nothing for McD to be un-classy about.
I kind of think he gave Zay too much opportunity.
Non issue to me. If a team wants to sign him they will, if they don't they won't. I no longer care about the individual players like I used to a long time ago. The game is a shell of what it was in terms of connection to players that it once was.
I think it's way too early to worry about this. There's up to 9 teams up for the 2 WC spots - so maybe at the half way point is more appropriate to start calculating.
The NFL is a copy cat league and right now most teams are trying to throw the ball a lot. Something will change to throw defenses off. I don't know if it's straight run game increasing.
Kind of like when all the rage was to have tall receivers - so tall corners started being brought in. Then smaller receivers so that the taller receivers weren't quick enough. I think a road grading offensive line and a big RB would be something I'd like to see.
