It is as important as any of the 15 other games on the Bills schedule.... I want this defense to pressure Brady and the offense to run the ball and keep the Patriots off the field. I don't want Edwards to come out of the game and say that he was confused by the Patriots defensive scheme considering that he has had 4 games of experience against them.

Wouldn't the Bills be saying the same if they had won the AFC East last year after that 4-0 and 5-1 start ? The Fins are the AFC East champions and until the other three teams dethrone them, the road to the AFC East at this point when everyone is 0-0 does go through Miami.

The fact that teams like Pittsburgh who were rumored to be after him before the draft did not pull the trigger (if the asking price was higher) is indicative of how much they were desperate to get Roscoe. My bet is Roscoe has suck it up and play here as a punt returner. He is definitely not a Wes Welker kind of player.

I think Derek Fine got pretty good experience in his rookie season and will definitely have taken Royals place this season. Fine will surprise many this season. He is a pretty good player

We would have built a good team, if the Bills had been able to make Dick Lebeau the DC/HC the year they hired him as a consultant to Jerry Gray. He went to Pittsburgh and made an average Defense into a terror and parlayed that into two Super Bowl wins. The Steelers do not win either of those SBs without Lebeaus defense.

There was a reason Why Trent Edwards slipped, just like why Tom Brady slipped all the way to the bottom of the 6th round...I hope Trent works out......

Honestly YES...because we had swept the Jets and Fins the previous season....Plus we had home games against Cleveland and San Francisco.......I was pretty sure we would be 11-5 or 12-4......Damn......

After all we got a LB from the St. Louis Rams some time ago and he turned out ok, before we ran him out of town to our Scrap Yard the Washington Redskins.

While we think we have the right players with the right attitude on this OL what bothers me is that all the 5 guys will be playing different positions including the incumbents. Do we have the right coaching staff to make sure that this line can communicate well and play their position well. I think training camp will provide the best insight to how much progress can this line make before the regular season.

Don't show this to the guys in ESPN or NFL Network...They will say it is a failure because you did not draft a OT on the 1st day.

If Trent Falters, then the Bills will most likely be mediocre and finish another 6-10 or 7-9 and WILL not have a chance to draft one of those top QBs in the top 5 of the draft. If Trent Falters, the Bills will go through the FA route and pick a 2nd level QB which I am sure there will be plenty of come the next off season.

Like the Bills did...except the Bills were able to convert into players for this season.

But Butler has been in the NFL for three seasons now....and started multiple games....He is not a college player anymore... The Jets went 1-4 in the final 5 games including a gift wrapped win by Losman....Now they will have a rookie QB... The Fins did play very well on defense last year...but this year will be more tough...there offense will get exposed this year. The Patriots are still the elite of the division and I do not see that change this season...However, the Bills are on par with the Fish and Jets or may be even better.

TO is the veteran WR....Will he be a leader...Sure ....Leadership comes in two forms...One is you show up on the field and others will follow....TO has ability for both....Will he be destructive on the field....Yes he can....Will he be on the Turf in RWS...May be...but hoping for the Bills he does not... I also think Edwards is going to emerge as a true leader....BTW sometimes leadership is also overrated...If the team starts winning, lot of these leadership crap shows its head, but never when the teams are not winning...It is sort of media created.
