  1. And this fact also could reveal a great deal! Since Dennison has worked with both Taylor and Siemian if Taylor is released and Siemian is indeed ends up in Buffalo that would tell you what Dennison thinks of both QBs.
  2. If Dennison is pushing to bring him to Buffalo that speaks volumes. That means he has seen enough in the kid to risk is reputation as a coach with a new team and a new boss. We as fans are quick to pass ourselves off as the experts who think we know more than the coaches or the GMs. Again, if Siemian truly sucked, as some on here have professed, than why would Dennison want to bring him to Buffalo. Now maybe this whole issue is no issue at all. Maybe it's just another unsubstantiated rumor with no basis of truth. But if it ends up that he comes to Buffalo that says that Dennison saw enough of him in Denver to convince his new boss to bring him here.
  3. At this point I only want the Bills to win out, or completely fall apart. Even if they win out and finish 10-6 it will be hard to overlook the major issues that exist with this entire coaching staff. If they don't win out I think the only way major changes are made is if the team falsl apart and lose at least 4 out of 5 remaining games. That is very possible if they lose next week to Houston. The next two are on the road again and the Redskins are becoming one of the leagues bigger surprises. Philly on the road could easily go bad also. The Bills beat the Cowboys at home, just because. A loss at home to the Jets who might still be in the playoff hunt and a 6-10 record could be the final straw. This team has far to much talent "right now" that can't be wasted on an inferior coaching staff. So this staff either gets it's act together and somehow the Bills win out or the next best thing for all Bills fans is for the team to collapse which brings drastic change, starting with Rex. As a lifetime Bills fan I will be hoping against hope for a 10-6 finish....but, ...really?
  4. I believe the same held true with the investigation during the Saints bountygate scandal. I don't believe Payton was ever implicated in the investigation report that proved he was knowledgeable of what was going on. Yet, he was suspended for allowing things within the organization to get so out of control. Maybe I'm wrong in how I remember that incident. However, as I've already stated Payton did not have any past history, Belichick does.
  5. Interesting that no one is talking about possible actions against Bill Belichick as a result of deflategate. Sean Payton was suspended an entire year as the head coach of the Saints during bountygate, and the primary reason was for allowing an atmosphere that permitted his DC and players to do what they did. To my knowledge, Payton had no previous issues in his past prior to bountygate, whereas Belichick has already had spygate. The commissioner has stated in the past that "ignorance is not a defense", and I believe Payton's suspension was one of the occasions. Stands to reason that Belichick deserves to be held just as accountable as the head coach of a team that now has two separate scandals involving cheating. What say you?
  6. Well if he's not sitting at home watching Sunday NFL on TV, I guess the next best "bad" thing is having him standing on the Jets sideline watching Geno making Orton look like Rogers. Standing by to see if this actually happens. Can you imagine what the Ralph will be like the first time this SOB returns for a game?? It makes me shiver!!
  7. Colin Cowherd said the Jets should sign him "yesterday"! That carries a lot of clout. = sarcasm
  8. Not to mention how he left all his Assistant coaches hanging out to dry. I'd love to know how that is being viewed throughout the league? Well maybe Nate will still come over to the house on Sundays to watch the games with big brother Dougy.
  9. It seemed immediately after Marone quit on his players New Years Eve he was heading to the Jets. A lot of indicators seemed to point to that outcome. However, after seeing the NY media's negative reaction to this happening that is now not quite so certain. The Jets are interviewing a lot of other candidates who I could easily see them hire instead of Marone. There is word the Falcons may be interested also, but again he is just one of a bunch of others they are interested in. I would think with his "average" record as a HC, combined with a lot of the negative national press he's received on quitting on his team, combined with reports that he trashed the team on his way out, other teams (Owners) may at least be somewhat skeptical about taking the SOB into their fold. I REALLY hope the sh*t for brains is stuck watching the NFL on TV every Sunday from here on out. Maybe he can go back to Syracuse, oh wait, never mind. How about the UB Bulls, oh wait! Maybe Canada?
  10. He does work for ESPN. Have you ever tried to listen to him on Sundays as an NFL radio color commentator. He has to be one of the all time worst! I simply cannot listen to him. He makes Shannon Sharpe appear to wax eloquent.
  11. OK, I see I have been pummeled about starting this thread, probably deserved it too. My point was not to point out that EJ was doing something strange or stupid. What I was trying to say was I just had the impression that he was just pretending to know what he was doing. Give the impression he was in control, in charge, aware of what the defense was throwing at him. Than the ball is snapped and the world around him starts spinning out of control.
  12. I'm fully aware that almost all QBs are doing this. It also suggests the QB is reading the defense and adjusting the play to the defensive formation. I just believe EJ (and many other QBs in the league) are doing nothing more than trying to look the part of a QB who really knows whats going on.
  13. No, not pointing his finger at his teammates, although he does seem to do that subtlely at times. What I'm refering to is his constant moving forward from the shotgun to point at what always seems to be the same spot on the defense. I can't help it but I always feel he is like a kid trying to imitate his favorite hero, Payton Manning. I keep waiting to hear him shout out "Omaha!" I know this might feel like I'm kicking him while he is down, but lately this has REALLY been something I found to be extremely annoying. Maybe it's just me?
