List of issues: 1. No consistency at the position. 2. Had no touch on the long ball. Missed them most of the time. 3. Was scared throwing the long ball forcing the defense to stack up the line and stop the running game. 4. Threw interceptions when game was on the line. 5. Never looked like a leader in charge on the field (Always sitting on the bench with his head down). Did not get the attention or focus of his players who ended up dropping passes. 6. Became too predictable and opponents were easily guessing his plays.

Haslett for DC? Return of the Bermuda Triangle?
ganesh replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It could work especially if Carrington can play DE along with Dareus. Then Kyle Williams will be the Nose Tackle. The one concern will be Kyle WIlliams if he can block any bull rushing. The biggest issue would be depth on the DL. Either way, they would need to draft more for the front seven. At least this will put their 7 best players on the field. -
What about Bobby April for ST Coach
ganesh replied to Chris in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
De Haven sucks and the game has passed by him. He had average and below average ST. -
And I hope he does not hire Jauron and Gailey for that position just because they have NFL coaching experience. Both played scared and not lose games. They do not fit the Marrone mentality.

Bills hire Doug Marrone to be Head Coach
ganesh replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why not ? Why should the presser make any difference. The difference will be on the football field. -
The new coordinators - newcomers or ex-HCs who will bolt?

Is Alex Carrington part of that list. If not, he sshould be. He has earned the right to be part of that DL. -

Let the Controversy begin. Is Whaley on the way out May be he stayed back in Arizona to convince Horton to move to the Bills as their DC. -
And may be Brad Smith too (Or at least he would have to take a pay cut to be back here). Unless they are unable to sign McKelvin.
-
I hope he can get a young fiery DC like a Horton or Mike Zimmer in Buffalo.

ESPN: Chip Kelly staying at Oregon
ganesh replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Correct. Something normal humans do day in day out. You are at this work place for past 10 years and the new start ups are enticing you to join. You go check them out and then at the end of the day figure that you are better of in your current place to take that next step into the unknown and you go back to being what you are today. Kelly did just that. -

We had our quota of bad karma three seasons ago, when the Fricking Kurt Schottenheimer refused to interview with the Bills for the HC position. Thankfully, now we have the chance to pick the coach that our front office wanted. -
Monte Kiffin for Defensive Coordinator?
ganesh replied to BrooklynBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The key to those Tampa 2 were a hard hitting Strong Safety (Lynch). That was one of the reasons Jauron jumped at #8 to pick Donte Whitner. Little did he know that Whitner would be an above average Safety in the NFL who had a big mouth. -

3M Roster Bonus for being on the team on March 1st 2013 7.85M Salary, guaranteed if makes the final 53 for the season on Day 1 of regular season. Since Fitz is unlikely to get a starting job elsewhere, he could take a pay cut and re-organized his salary to remain a backup or compete for the starting job during the off season.

Can he fix the Run defense. We have atrociously been horrible against the Run for the last decade.

You went 1-3 over the weekend. It was going to be tough for Cincy to go into Houston and win that game against Wade.

Who really thinks Nix is in charge with this hire?
ganesh replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
+1. It would have been nice for the Bills to have given Graham a lot of reps in the pre-season games and introduced him into the starting XI at the beginning of the season rather than putting him in the spotlight of just making the winning play against the Patriots. Nix would have probably offered the Job (HC) to Norv Turner based on his time with the Chargers. Whaley would have offered the job to Wisenhunt or Horton if he had full control. The fact that we hired a College coach, more than likely indicates that the decision came from the 3rd decision maker in Russ Brandon -
Realistic Supporting Staff
ganesh replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why? DeHaven was pretty pedestrian in his 2nd stint with the Bills. Kevin Greene will want to run a 3-4 scheme. What makes Frank reich a good coach ? Just because he wants to be back with the Bills. The only comment from Frank was that if Wisenhunt became the HC, then there was apossibility of a coaching position for him (Frank) with the Bills. Maronne should be given full control to identify his coaching staff. I hope he does a good job of assembling a good one. It can be the difference between a 6-10 and 10-6 easily on this team. -

Agree with your comparison to folks on that list except for Horton. Horton is as much an unknown as Marrone and has been successful running a defensive program in Arizona. I would have been happy with a Horton hire too. -
Kyle Williams and calling out Bills effort
ganesh replied to Logical Reasoning's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The thought that "Coaches cannot simply fire NFL Players" is way over stated. If a coach doesn't like a player, the team will find a way to get rid of them. Even the last regime gave the boot to Lynch and Edwards when they found that they could not work with them. The new regime will do the same. -
Mort: Browns rebooting coach search
ganesh replied to Sisyphean Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is a little out of the blue. Why would he take the DC job of the Bills, but spurn the HC job of the Cleveland browns. Both have similar talent levels and the Browns have a "less" of a issue at QB than the Bills (especially in a weak QB draft). IMHO, from a coaching perspective, both the Browns and Bills are on par with regards to everything. In fact, the one strong thing going in favor of the Browns is the stability at the ownership position. If you are the HC of the Browns you have a shot at a 3-year program to resurrect them. If you come to the Bills, who know what happens, if RW passes away. That uncertainty will always hang over the Bills. -
He sucked as our starting QB and he sucked as our QB coach and he sucked as the interim OC. Pass.
