  1. Not apples to apples comparison. Epenesa had to shed 20lbs from his playing weight and still play the same position. That is tough on a rookie. The Bills are patient with him and will be rewarded this year.
  2. some of these guys could get traded for 6th or 7th round picks
  3. The one major road block for the Browns is the division they play. The games in that division are a hell lot more competitive.
  4. They don't really have a choice. They don't have real good backup or replacement player for Edmunds on the roster and they did not dip into the draft to get competition at that position. And he played outstanding in the win against Baltimore in the playoffs.
  5. TC should take care of it,
  6. Tommy Tremble or Brevin Jordan. They will have to give that 5th to go up and get him.
  7. That is how the Giants won all their super bowls....and so did Tampa last year.
  8. Watson might be still in play with Carolina
  9. Looks like England Cricket Player Sam Curran
  10. This would be a good value pick if it happens. I agree that the 2nd round offers the edge and CB with similar grades...May be they can package their 5ths with the 2nd to move up and get the player. Not having the 4th hurts this year.
  11. I think he can get fantastic talent such as Terence Marshall by staying at 30 or even moving down a little bit.
  12. and then have Cam runniing between the tackles.
  13. I think it will still be 6 WRs (Diggs, Beasley. Sanders, Davis, McKenzie and a high-mid round Draft pick). TEs wlll be Knox, Sweeney, Gillian and a Draft pick
  14. He struggled as a rookie QB because * he had no weapons * he had no running game * he had no OL protection * he was too raw and not ready for the NFL yet What he benefited: * Same coaching staff for the 1st 4 seasons of his career * front office loading the offense with better protection and weapons. * his running game which created about 10 TDs. * he was better (by miles) than his back ups * Coaching staff allowing him to learn through his mistakes * The INTENSITY and the WILL to succeed - All on Josh Allen
  15. You keep taking chances with the QB position until it succeeds. The one big difference for Josh has been that the coaching staff has been kept intact for the first four seasons of his young career. That is a HUGE thing people miss out when evaluating Allen's success.
  16. +1 Also, the first round grading by the Bills management could very well be different than all these draft pundit rankings. I am sure the Bills trust and value their scouts opinions.
  17. yet they won 10 games and a win away from the playoffs
  18. Correct. Mel provided the right context for the lower completion %. - Josh was a 22-26 throws per game guy instead of the 40+ throws that top college program QBs throw. Hence, margin of error is very high when you are in the 22-26 range. - Josh lost 4 guys on offense to the NFL in his senior year. Laramie is not a football wiz program to be able to reload immediately after losing 4 NFL quality players. What he also added (which the Bills loved) - Josh was ultra competitive and demonstrated that in every game at Wyoming. Josh success is not abnormal.
  19. The play maker could be one of those top WRs too
  20. Yet he ran all over us in recent games against us
  21. I think the Bills will extend Beasley to another year.
  22. Matt Breida
  23. +1 Bold statement - The bills trade up to top of the draft and pick Kyle Pitts
  24. Also if Paye is available (which it does in this mock), I see the Bills taking a flyer on Paye.
  25. The problem with JP was that he did not have "It". Reading defenses were not his forte nor his ability to deliver the strikes. Granted he had crappy WRs for most of his time here. IT was a mix of everything and the threat of Trent Edwards whom the coaches seemed to favor eroded his confidence and Dick Jauron did nothing about it.
