The Bills traded their 12th (1st round). 53rd (2nd round) and 56th (2nd Round) for the 7th pick to get the rights to draft Allen in the 2018 draft. Tampa bay traded out of the 56th spot with New England and received the 63rd spot (2nd round) and the 117th pick (4th Round). Tampa drafted the following players at those spots: 12th - Vita Vea DT 53rd - M J Stewart (CB) 63rd - Carlton Davis (CB) 117th - Jordan Whitehead (S) Looking at Buc's roster, Jordan and Carlton are their starting Safety and CB... Carlton has a total of 5 INT in his career with 4 coming this season. Jordan has a total of 3 INT in his career with 2 coming this season. Vita has anchored the Bucs DL with a total of 7.5 sacks in 3 seasons. He was place on IR after 5 games into the season. Stewart was waived by the Bucs this August and claimed by the Browns. He got his 1st sack and 1st INT of his career this year with the Browns. I am glad we made the trade that day and then selected the right guy with that pick.

Bill Belichik comments - Looks good on him

A GM job is a full time job and it is not fair for a HC to be taking on that additional responsibility. Usually. it results in disaster. -
Is Moss the best closer we have had since Thurman?

A Few Thoughts About the Patriots Game, in no particular order
ganesh replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The TD he dropped today was simply lack of focus. He took his eyes off the ball before folding it into his chest. You can't afford such silly loss of focus -
agree. we need to win 2 play off games. This team has the right talent and if it stops shooting itself in the foot, can win the big dance.

A Few Thoughts About the Patriots Game, in no particular order

> We are 12-3 and a miracle catch away form 13-2. Really think about that, considering the schedule we played. This is real everyone. This is very, very real. And while the media considers that we were slaughtered on those two other losses, the games could have been lot closer with a healthy Allen, Milano and Edmunds. This team is for real and they need to continue to work fixing the Run defense. If we can fix that then we are going deep in the playoffs and possibly even the Super Bowl. -
Yes. But you are forgetting the uncertainty of the COVID era.... It is the momentum they are taking into the playoffs...their confidence is pretty high now. They are getting Dez involved in the passing game. He is a huge threat in the Red Zone.

Jets tell Gase he will be fired after next week's game

otherwise he will lose his deposit. -
Where would you rather be.. Right here Right Now . Go Bills. He hit him from the shoulder and drove the QB to the ground. They will call that a penalty all the time. I love Epenesa's fire though. He is slowly making plays. So is Ed Oliver. I think we will have a good strong DL core. They will need one more pass rusher as Addison apperas to have disappeared after the 1st half of the season.

Agreed. And the throw from Josh will be much more better than the one last time to Brown.

wow. What an amazing prediction. Awesome

and Edelman -
I agree with the Peaking. Last yeara they peaked too early and when they had to play tough teams in the final quarter they limped into the playoffs.. This year they are peaking in the final quarter. 5 more games to go. Go Bills.
-
But they did stop them to a large extent. Last year the Bills defense wilted under Lamars three passing TDs

What JC Jackson said to Stefon Diggs

we can't pay everyone at every position. The bills will be picking a CB high in the draft. They will re-sign wallace to a RFA contract -
Roberts and Bass have been studs

It is a shame we had two untouched drops in the same game and in the sam quarter (Knox and Jones)

My comment was NOT about the fans. It was about the difference for Players for playing at home rather than playing on the road - where the travel to the destination and the stay in unfamiliar hotel (for the Players) can play on their psyche.

Would love to see JA finally dominate Pats D
ganesh replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They missed two of their star players. We missed one of ours and 2nd one (Brown) due to injury. Let us not make it sound that the Patriots losses are due to those players. Their offense was HORRIBLE. -
I thought this topic was going to be about our Special Teams coordinator who seems to have been forgotten amid the Offensive explosion and defensive resurgence. ST has been improving game by game and is playing at a peak level of confidence. They are even doing short kicks to dare KRs to return the ball. Today's trick play was amazing and kudos to the ST coach for the perfect plan and execution.

Mel Kiper, Jr. as GM candidate? Yeah, it's possible.

especially when the top two 'sure' QBs were off the board. The choice was between Rosen, Allen and Jackson. It could have been any of them at 7 -
