  1. I think they tried that by putting White on Kelce. It didn't matter.
  2. Their mentality is like what we did with the Diggs trade... "Is there a player in the draft at that position, who can give me the same benefits as this player X. If so then trade for that player with the pick"
  3. Tyrod doesn't throw picks, Fitz throws untimely picks. For this organization, Tyrod type backup player would be better.
  4. Many of the players who opted out had comorbidity situation (at very high risk) and had NO option but to sit out (Star). Even who didn't want to sit had to be shut down by the team (Sweeney). The teams will NOT go hard on these players. There is a reason why they couldn't play
  5. I think this was explained clearly in another thread...Allen will be getting a contract EXTENSION and not a NEW contract. He will continue to play next year on a rookie level deal except for roster bonuses (which are paid through multiple years but are guaranteed in the contract). the bills will not get the benefit of the 2nd year since they won't pick his 5th year option.
  6. Another Adam Gase in the making
  7. The problem is Addison's cap hit...it is either a dead cap of 4M or a cut-cap of 6M. Since we have already let Murphy go, we definitely have to have a backup DE and Addison would play that role at 6M. This is with even if we go after a FA DE or a high Draft pick
  8. Agreed. For a 32 year old QB whose best years are behind him and it has always been someone else's fault.
  9. Jerry is already paid on the lower end of the DE market...There is nothing to cut. It is a waste to cut Morse as his dead cap and cap are the same. What about Tyler Kroft? We are also getting Norman's 7M off the books and Murphy's 10M off the books
  10. Fitz will stay in Miami and so will Dalton in Dallas. Tyrod might follow Lynn to Detroit where he could be a stop-gap starter if they draft a QB high Brissett is the interesting one. Will Indy keep him
  11. In what way ? The guy was 80% of our offense, which set all sorts of records. He won two playoff games and lost to the defending Super Bowl Champs. Improved all aspects of his game including making decisions. How many QBs are better than him ?
  12. > During the session, NFL Network showed a clip of Allen throwing on both knees from the 40 and hitting the goal-post. this !
  13. It worked in the regular season but not in the playoffs. We have to have the talent to play with the big boys Agreed. Unless Milano signs a 1-year prove it deal, I don't see him being re-signed
  14. Stills is now a FA.
  15. If we want long term success, we need to think about how to get over the hump next year.
  16. unless they find a speedster in the draft or FA
  17. We knew the Chiefs offense will be operating at elite level. What was disappointing was that we allow the Chiefs defense to dominate our offense. When our best weapon was neutralized (Offense) we had zero shot at winning the game. The Bills game plan should have been to go into a shoot out. They missed that mark badly
  18. It is a possibility that the Bills re-sign Feliciano and release Morse and draft a RG.
  19. The only thing that would have made a difference yesterday was for us to score TDs instead of FG...We needed to be in a shoot out and kept that 9 point lead we built early on....we didn't stay with them.
  20. The same could be said about the Bills defense against the Ravens.
  21. Where on the line? This line performed very well until today when they got manhandled.... Dawkins, Boetenger , Morse, Feliciano and Williams were a pretty good line. the only person whom you may need to replace would be Morse due to his high salary. But you have to sign Feliciano and Williams who will be FAs.
  22. The bills have no ability to pay for another FA WR unless they are ready to cut John Brown.
  23. Not true...Hartman and Williams were torturing us.
