why not this year for the rest of the playoffs. We did win today right ? We are hosting a game next weekend

27 points in the playoffs is very good especially against a defense that had 2 All-Pro Starters.... The defense gave 2 TDs in the 4th quarter. Missing the consistency to stop the run and get off on 3rd downs. Today was not theri day

Keep your head up and stay hungry, Josh

Baby steps and learning curve. -
And their D line was real. It was actually amazing how Josh worked under that pressure. He made one bad mistaake. It was a 1st down. He could have taken the sack and the 10 yard loss and live to fight another day. He will learn

The colts have a super front 7

Or the Bills could put consistently a slot person in Beasley or McKenzie and allow McKenzie to catch from the slot like he did last week.
-
Some of these positions that you mention require continuity...You cannot just take a draft pick and put him there and hope everything remains same. I agree in principle your thoughts though. THe Bills should not fear about losing people in FA

Agreed...there will be lot more changes in the 2022 off season...but I think Beane will try to keep this team together for another run in 2021... BUt I do agree that the Bills may have to make some cuts in 2021 for Salary Cap purpose and they may have found some easy cuts due to plays of people like Williams and Epenesa... We could be seeing the end of Yeldon, Addison, Kroft, Murphy etc

They could trade out of that 3rd pick (for a QB needy team) for a bounty of 1st and 2nd round picks and build a lot of talent around Tua. The Dolphins will be a tough team next season

Miami's season was like our 2017 season when we made the playoffs..excellent defense and a QB that protected the balll and made very few mistakes; but also made very less downfield throws.....it caught up with them in the playoffs when they played a defense that was slightly better than them. Miami won games with great defense and very little turnovers by Tua. They got caught in the offensive storm in the season finale; their attempt to do something that they couldn't (throw the ball downfield) ended up being a disaster. One difference - Both Bills and Miami needed help after the week 17.... Bills got it thanks to the Bengals while the Dolphins did not get the same favor from Jacksonville or Pittsburgh

ESPN has Bills 2nd in Efficiencies in entire NFL

Once your are in the playoffs anything can happen....Stats/predictions usually get thrown out during Wild Card weekend. If the Bills had beaten Houston last year, all teh four WC games would have been upsets with the road teams winning against the home teams (2 of them were division winners) -
Did blowout make Sean McDermott favorite for COY?

Why not both. Did anyone restrict our options ? 🙂 -
Allen's problems in year 1 and 2 are stats....too many turn overs, especially fumbles and lower completion %. Unfortunately, the only things that are preserved from the past games are the stats and with the internet they are the most easiest to find....People build their own stories based on the stats they collected and are definitely not spending their entire week watching Allens first 30 games of his career.

Agreed...I think that is why Stefanski wins it. The Browns made the playoffs after 17 seasons in his first year as HC. He shut down all the noise in Cleveland and made them a disciplined team. I agree that people calling Flores a fraud are doing it purely on a spite of a division rival. He may not have handled his QB situation very well; but he had his team playing hard for him every week. He had them almost winning against the reigning super bowl champion; they beat the Patriots; won tough road games. Beat the Rams on the road, Flores will build that team better with the draft capital they have received from Houston....They could trade that 3rd pick into more multiple 1st and 2nd round picks and builld that team's offense even better. They may need to look for a more progressive OC than Chan Gailey -

Only problem with Houston is that their draft cupboard is bare for the next two drafts. That is a coach killer for one who is coming in as a rookie. -
The Bills have a tough 4-game stretch coming up 😉

A Few Thoughts About the Dolphins Game, in no particular order

May be it was to give the time for the back ups. It is not like we were throwing with Allen and Diggs. It was good to have Davis get that score for his confidence. It always works when you have a Franchise QB -

The Bills are on a5-game WC losing streak. Time to end that with a win next Saturday. This is what they played for during 17 weeks. Now they are there. Time to continue the momentum and win the remaining FOUR games of the year -
Game Balls - Fish v. Bills Week 17

Agree the OL had a great outing against one of the best defense in the NFL (#1 in points allowed, going into the game)....But I think Josh played very well anticipating the pressure and stepping into the pocket to throw those strikes. -
McKenzie called his shot on the Punt Return TD!
ganesh replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think McKenzie is faster than Roberts. Isiah's issues have always been ball safety -
Thanks Shaw for the write up. As always. see the passion of a die-hard every time you write.
