And that's how it started. Kamara didn't want the guy sharing an elevator with his group. -

Spotrac has Levi Wallace valued @ $9M/yr. Thoughts?
QCity replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is my conjecture: He will be 27 next season and wants to finally get paid, and will go to whoever offers him the most. I don't blame him. -
That was the play of the game

The Chargers just rolled over $9M to next year increasing their cap space to $68M. As much fun as it would be to see Josh throwing to Mike WIlliams, I can't see the Chargers letting him get away from Herbert. They're in a great position financially with only a few other FA's to re-sign i.e. Jospeh and Harris.

Running quarterbacks don't last. They don't. No amount of homer wishful thinking is going to change that. Running backs don't last in this league. Pretending that RG3 lasted 7 years is delusional. Dorsey needs to fix the running game or we'll be talking about Josh lasting until he's 30, not 40.

Aaron Rodgers to the Titans ?? [Titans say "No"]
QCity replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Tannehill was traded post-June the Titans would only take a ~$9M dead cap hit in 2022 and a ~$18M dead cap hit in 2023. That's certainly workable and the timelines for what Rodgers and Henry have left in the tank (1-2 years) line up. The difficulty lies in finding a trade partner -- the Titans would actually have to give up picks to entice a team to take on Tannehill's contract. The Panthers could make it work if they are ready to move on from Darnold, but that would still require a lot of heavy lifting numbers wise. It's certainly not likely, but it is possible. -
Absolutely. Pizza Hut in the late 70s / early 80s was a family dining experience. The building was an actual hut. You crammed into a little waiting area with 5 other families standing behind a wooden "Please wait to be seated" sign. There was a jukebox and an arcade game that was either Ms. Pac Man or Galaga. Everyone drank out of red plastic cups with loads of tiny crushed ice. They would finally bring you your pizza in a black metal pan that was 5,000 degrees and warned you "Don't touch the pan, it's hot!" But you didn't listen. You touched the pan and ate the 5,000 degrees pizza and burned the roof of your mouth so bad you needed a trip to the Burn Treatment Center. And you looked forward to doing it again next month.

Wow, a reasonable hire from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

That....would not be a welcome development.

Brian Flores suing NFL, NY Giants, Dolphins, Broncos.
QCity replied to BillsFan4's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Ross did in fact offer $100K to Flores to throw games, he certainly must have gave orders to Grier to sit on his hands as well. -

NFL's response to Flores' lawsuit is embarrassing NFL Investigation: We called Ross he said he didn't do it. -

Flores going scorched earth. I would first like to compliment him on his absolutely perfect timing of dropping this bomb at the beginning of the two week run up to the Super Bowl -

It really looked like they took their foot off the gas when they went up 21-3. Making Super Bowl plans at halftime.
