  1. I think a couple shots at the endzone may have been the idea, but Taylor ran out of bounds on one and went underneath to Clay instead of looking a little deeper on the final play before the kick. I don't see Taylor taking many risks in the red zone. It's been a blessing and a curse this year.
  2. No one has said this.
  3. Here's an interesting fact that I got by looking at your list there... 10 QB's have more yards in 4 games than Taylor has in 5.
  4. You must have been standing right next to me!
  5. I haven't seen one person say they demand 300 yards. Why this has become the rallying cry is beyond me. Anyone miffed at Taylor's lack of production has been saying that in the long run you can't sustain victories passing the ball for 100-150 yards. His accuracy has dropped and at the game yesterday I felt like he was staring down receivers and missed a few wide open targets. I don't think Taylor is terrible, but we need a passing attack to win in the NFL in 2017.
  6. We did one bomb on a third and short along the left sidelines in the third quarter and Taylor overthrew a wide-open Robert Woods (I think it was Woods - was at the game and the replay inconsistency was maddening).

  8. Josh Gordon's last NFL touchdown was December 15th, 2013.
  9. Agreed. The team would be wise to stay at home for the next four games, then play and sweep the remaining half of the season. That would be my strategy.
  10. Am I the only one who missed the seriousness of Salas' injury? Man we are thin at WR.
  11. Hope he leaves his jersey at home (from the tailgate site):
  12. Here's a better link: http://podbay.fm/show/1150965112/e/1475564460?autostart=1 The interview starts at 18:00.
  13. You convinced me! We decided to go to the tailgate after all. We'll be at the shrine at 9am.
  14. I'll be there! Tailgate is $45/person though so we might have to skip out on the tailgate... I support the LA Backers and watch all the games at Busby's West, but man we have too many people joining us to justify that hefty price tag.
  15. You both make great points. I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic. Like kdiggz, I'd like to see how we matchup in the Pittsburgh, Seattle, Cincinatti, Patriots*** 2 game. If we steal a couple of those my ears would perk up.
  16. Bobby April has been with 4 teams since the Bills. Just looked that up and somehow it blew my mind. Seemed like he was just here.
  17. Wow, didn't notice that. Good catch. You weren't kidding, he literally leaps Brown to make the tackle. Darby is a gamer.
  18. There was one group of Pats fans at the LA Backers bar. They were whining the whole second half and it was absolutely glorious. Still not 15 years worth of revenge, but it's a start. When Brady retires I'll be grinning from ear to ear.
  19. My dream scenerio would be Edleman throwing a pick six.
  20. I got blasted earlier in the year for this but I'll say it again... Whaley is TERRIBLE at adding depth and having contingency plans. Our WR corps looks thin even WITH Sammy. Now it's flat out pathetic. It's almost as if this type of thing completely shocks the organization and we have no idea how to field a roster most games. Sammy had surgery in the offseason and we're still somehow unprepared for this. Injuries happen, but you cannot go into a game with Goodwin at WR2 and Walter Powell as WR3. Awful depth management.
  21. Yeah, like I said, Graham is above average. It was an impressive catch...but that catch never happens if Palmer makes the right read. Watch the replay in the OP. Robey follows and blankets the WR and Palmer does nothing to look off the safety. It was a nice catch by Graham, but a worse decision by Palmer. There was no pressure on him and he forced the throw.
  22. Graham is above average. That play though was cake...a desperate QB making a bad throw and a worse read.
  23. Fair enough haha. McGahee's unofficial rookie season, the one where he had nearly 1,200 yards and 13 touchdowns in 11 starts.
  24. He was above average that season, but no need for all the superlatives. I wouldn't call his receiving that year "freakish". It wasn't even that memorable, to be honest. It was probably the best season by a bills RB since McGahee's rookie year, but I'm not sure that's saying much. We never fed Fred the ball, but if we had, I'm sure he would have more impressive stats. He will go down as the best back from this playoff-less era, with a slight nod to Henry, who is only second due to lack of longevity with the squad.
  25. lol wow dude
