    I can’t really get behind Davis. He’s great at what he does but I don’t really see the upside there to make him more than just a 2 down player. Everything else is meh. I haven’t been invested that much in college football to really have an opinion beyond the first few rounds.

    That’s exactly what they did with Neal. They coached him up and rewarded him. That’s been Beane’s philosophy from the beginning. I doubt this deal prevents us from addressing other needs.

    Decent home grown player with some versatility. The price should’ve been relatively low. I didn’t realize he was so old for a guy drafted in 2018. He’ll be 28 when the season starts.

    I wouldn’t be thrilled with it if I’m the Raiders but what else are you going to do? He’s at least a guy that’s good enough to keep you in the playoff picture.
