    I don’t see why they would be tempted by a late 1st. He’s also entering the final year of rookie contract and will likely want something in the neighborhood of $100mil or more. He’s a great player but I think we should pass.

    Can anyone explain what is impressive about his resume? As far as I know he doesn’t even call plays or design the offense in GB. I just don’t see it

    I hate assuming guys will automatically get better. It just doesn’t always happen. I’m sure people thought Epenesa would settle into his new weight and come into the season with an increased role and productivity.

    He obviously wants to be a HC. If it were about money then there’s more to be made as a HC (even a bad one) than the highest paid OC. The NFL is weird. Guys that are once hot HC candidates can fizzle out. Look at a guy like Greg Roman. He was always being mentioned and now nobody seems to care.

    If he wants to go work with Daniel Jones then I wouldn’t lose sleep over him leaving. Sounds like a dumb decision to me. We’ll have plenty of options to replace Daboll if he does leave.

    The hire makes sense but this round of HC candidates has been so underwhelming.

    Right, the elite QB doesn’t know what’s good for him and the offense but a random person on the internet does. Dorsey may or may not be promoted to OC but to completely dismiss him and say Josh’s opinion means nothing is just…stupid.

    I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Every team with a HC vacancy is praying we’re dumb enough to fire McD. Heck, there are probably teams that would consider firing their HC if they could get him. We have a good thing going. It sucks that we lost but we’re going to be contending every year.

    You’re right, and Sunday was shocking. I tend to look at things differently, perhaps more optimistically, though. We have an elite 25 year old QB. He’s years away from even being in his prime. We’re going to be contenders every year. I also think McD is a top 10 HC. We have the two hardest positions figured out. We’re going to be fine.

    I believe there was probably miscommunication on the kickoff. However I think it’s nonsense that it resulted in McD being so flabbergasted that he didn’t know what to do on defense. Frazier wanting out seems like a stretch but I’m sure he does want a HC job.
