  1. We're serfs. !@#$ing ridiculous the IRS would waste their time with this.
  2. Fitzmoney. That's funny. His contract is quite average, as his abilities. Signing Alex Smith is ridiculous. His skills are only slightly better than Fitz. Smith thrived because of defense. He was unseated midseason. Tired of this constant drumbeat of picking up other teams' throwaways. Let's draft a young QB, and have him learn behind Fitz.
  3. I think Solo D has a point. Even I hate the Bills. And I love the Bills.
  4. If Fitz sees his passes intercepted before he throws it, that may help. Nevermind. If Fitz can see his future INTs, then defenders can too, which means they'll see his next move too.
  5. You mean like Nicolas Cage in Next? Sweet. They already had a good owner, a great coach, a franchise QB. Now they can see in the freakin future.
  6. Holy shiite. What a circus side show.
  7. 1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RECUlpVPzN4 Bad Under a Bad Sign.
  8. We have a Ferrari and we use it to get groceries only.
  9. Why don't we just make it like Pee Wee football, where everyone gets a trophy even if they sucked?
  10. We are better than the Cards. 58-0, holy crap...But 3x0 is still zero. Have lost complete faith in this team. Rams did me in. And I was a Chan fan/apologist.
  11. Seriously? Vick is on the downside of his career. He is only a slight improvement. Further, this offense is a quick strike offense. I don't think that is Vick's style. He'd have to learn a new one, or our already decent offense would have to adjust to his style. We need to draft someone, period. Enough already with this "I heard of him so let's sign him" mentality.
  12. I have no problems with nicknames like Capt. Checkdown. Edwards aptly deserved it. But can we please stop calling people we don't know names like "Pigpen"? No reason for that. He's a backup--I've never even see him play in a regular season game in a Bills uni--and he's never done anything to you that I know of. And no, everybody doesn't know if TJ can start this week. Unless you have a hidden camera at practice, you don't either.
  13. Yeah, thanks. This is great.
  14. I'd only be interested in Sanchez if we could also get Tebow. Imagine the possibilities. Plug Fitz in for screens, Sanchez for mid-range passes and Tebow for the Wildcat. Behold, Sanfitzo. Unfreakingstoppable.
  15. Unfortunately, yes. When we lost to the Colts, I thought it was over. Now... Sick, huh? It's like that dork who always hits on the hottest women, thinking it'll happen someday.
  16. I wish I never clicked this thread. Now, I'm actually thinking playoffs, which is an unhealthy pastime given the previous 12 years.
  17. The assumption is because we get a top 10, we'll magically get a great pick. That hasn't been the case with us in 12 years. The Pats, and Steelers, however, which pick in the bottom 10, probably pick better than we do. Heavily prefer us winning out and heading into next season with momentum, and respect. Matter of fact, if we don't beat the Jags, I probably won't watch another game this season. I prefer to watch my team win, not lose. No contest for me unless it's a No. 1 pick.
  18. My take on Chan: Many of us, myself included, were enchanted with his ability to conjure up an offense to maximize strengths and minimize weaknesses. Our offense during the first half of last year was a thing of beauty to me. Fun to watch, and effective. But many of us, myself included, got it wrong. We thought Chan designed the offense to maximize Fitz' strength--quick decision making--and to minimize the offensive line's weakness--inability to hold a pass rush. That is totally backwards. Rather, the line, it turns out, even without Cordy Glenn, is above average. And it's painfully clear that Fitz will never be able to throw it deep. Hence, a magic grab bag of well-designed, but now expected, screen passes. Only now, we have a brilliant weapon in CJ Spiller, and we're using him considerably less than we should because Chan prefers to conjure up his plays based on what the defenses are throwing us. I have no problem with this--if we had a QB who could chuck it accurately more than eight yards. But that's not the case. Will it change next year?--I don't know.
  19. Chan will be safe, barring an epic collapse, and we will draft a QB, who likely will be groomed next year--which means Fitz will be back for at least half of the season. And if this D keeps playing the way it is, Wanny will be safe too. Wish someone in the Bills organization would speak up. This team's woes are more than not being consistent, and not "fitting it up." We have a QB whose arm was bad last year, and is even worse this year--how that is possible, considering the guy is in his prime, I don't know--an overly-conservative HC who prefers to have opposing defenses dictate our plays when everyone knows our only strength is running, a DC whose stubborness and lack of creativity caused one of the worst two game stretches in modern NFL history, a GM obsessed with drafting CBs when he should be obsessed with drafting QBs, and a frail owner whose role is undefined to this fan. There needs to be a change somewhere if we Bills fans will be realistically hoping for a playoff berth next season.
  20. Brilliant! Chan's record is 14-29. I say let's try losing. We're certain to win. 29-14 would look pretty good, no?
  21. The Bills could pass all day, not run CJ at all, and still win easily.
  22. Tell the truth. We're always looking for the next franchise QB. It's really simple.
  23. Serious question. Who makes these decisions to "swing"? Buddy Nix? Russ Brandon? Mr. Wilson? Keyser Söze? If so, who MADE these decisions? Is Brandon a good CEO? Is he involved in personel issues, or just the financial and marketing ones? Would love someone to seriously break down how decisions are made at the top level, and the chain of command, etc. Cause with a frail owner, and a GM whose said Gailey isn't leaving, 13-plus years of no playoffs, and three years into a fruitless rebuilding campaign, who's going to call any potential management change in the offseason? I see one of two things happening (none of them involve a new coach or GM): We keep the same guys and draft a QB in the first or second. We make a play for a big name guy, like Vick, to get fans buzzing again (like they did with TO) and to stop whining.
  24. He's Fitz, you do know that? ... Right? Enough of the retreads already. Let's get one in the draft, have him mentored.
