  1. He hasn't been completely useless. His intelligence on Seattle helped us immensely in that game.
  2. Agree, Fitz does give us the best chance out of that bunch.
  3. Those announcers don't know nothing. That Wanny style D. Just fit it up, baby.™
  4. Why we suck: Botched draft picks. Interceptions whenever the game is on the line. Losing mentality. Laughable QB play. Simpleminded defensive schemes.
  5. Easy--Bills. Lions have made the playoffs in the past 13 years, are televised nationally four to five times a year--I've gotten one game all year in Atlanta--have a franchise QB, and a superstar receiver. All they're lacking IMO is a decent O line and RB and they'll be back in the playoffs. It appears as if A) We're going to get more of the same crap next season or B) Start over from scratch.
  6. Think a half way point would be preferable. At some point, everyone--even coaches--need to be human. And let's remember Bilichick lost the last Superbowl, and Ryan made it to two AFC championships. Used socks? Do I even want to know what you're implying?
  7. Fabulous read. Thanks for sharing. I've always liked Rex Ryan, and don't understand why so many people don't. He's honest. And funny. Seems like he is the anti Bilichick, a guy who cut a player the day before the Superbowl last year.
  8. As a UGA grad, every school, Tech included, has classes for jocks. What did Calvin Johnson major in?
  9. True, we'd probably love him if Fitz were playing as well as I thought he would this year and if we were in the playoff hunt like I also thought we would be. And Chan's schemes are solid. What he does with screens and the spread offense blows my mind. He's also shown some flashes of brilliance. Plus, he's likable--I wanted him to succeed. I still do. But he's also shown some flashes of ineptitude. Lately, his playcalling has been wretched. Time management, worse. We all know he's not using our most powerful weapon, Spiller, nearly enough. And the record--seriously...it's pathetic. He can't beat our biggest rivals here, or at Georgia Tech. Three wins against the AFCE. And not once did he beat my alma matter, UGA, in the five or so years he coached there. He's had his shot. If he wasn't able to get us in the playoff hunt with this talent, it's time to move on. Thirteen years, no playoffs. Three years under Gailey, we still have a losing record. Will he do better with a better QB? Probably. But I fear it's not enough.
  10. I'd say there'd be at least one. His one job on this team was to provide intel on the Hawks. If that's a result of good intel, I'd hate to see a bad result.
  11. We're serfs. !@#$ing ridiculous the IRS would waste their time with this.
  12. Fitzmoney. That's funny. His contract is quite average, as his abilities. Signing Alex Smith is ridiculous. His skills are only slightly better than Fitz. Smith thrived because of defense. He was unseated midseason. Tired of this constant drumbeat of picking up other teams' throwaways. Let's draft a young QB, and have him learn behind Fitz.
  13. I think Solo D has a point. Even I hate the Bills. And I love the Bills.
  14. If Fitz sees his passes intercepted before he throws it, that may help. Nevermind. If Fitz can see his future INTs, then defenders can too, which means they'll see his next move too.
  15. You mean like Nicolas Cage in Next? Sweet. They already had a good owner, a great coach, a franchise QB. Now they can see in the freakin future.
  16. Holy shiite. What a circus side show.
