  1. Enough of the bright side Betsies. Fitz is good here, bad there, plays good here, bad there, some flashes of brilliance, some streaks of ineptitude. We get it. If he doesn't show consistency by midseason, he should be benched. If DW doesn't call better plays by midseason, he should be fired. Third year of a new regime. Good talent, and depth, on both sides of the ball. Time to put Ws on the board. Time to not be embarrassed anymore by division rivals. Time for us fans to demand better, and to stop looking at the bright side of a **** sandwich that should be a pastrami on rye. Mmm. Pastrami. Seriously--Bills Nation needs to send a message that this kind of playing and coaching won't be tolerated.
  2. Hey, at least you guys can play 2 quarters of good football.
  3. Either that or they were too full from eating before the game.
  4. Spiller was running high...into six human Mac trucks. Remember learning in pee wee football, you run low in those conditions. Tired of whining and moaning. I'll sum up my last complaint: This whole team, Chandler excluded, sucked, with Wanny sucking the worst.
  5. There was one play he was targeted, he was wide open, and Fitz overshot him. But there is something about SJ this year. Doesn't seem to be doing his normal jukes early in his patterns to get open. Maybe it's the groin.
  6. Brady wasn't kidding when he said we were playing the "little guys" and challenging them* to run the ball. Three safeties, three corners and only ONE LB? No wonder both their backs had 100-plus yards each. Maybe next time we play the Pats*, Wanstache can drop Mario Williams to cover Gronk and Dareus to cover Hernandez. F'ing joke of a defensive scheme in the second half, and the entire game against the hapless Jets.
  7. It's hard to win in the AFC East.
  8. 4) Don't change the scheme--ever--even if the Pats* change their scheme, or if said scheme is blowing up in our faces. 5) If in doubt, refer to Rule 4.
  9. Bills games have left me with a gamut of emotions. This one--anger. Anger in pure stupidity. We could have won, despite the ridiculous score. Yeah, what gives Wanny? We had them. If one guy was getting lit up--Scott--you replace him. This is the definition of insanity--doing the same thing and expecting different results. If they're running, put some bigger guys in there. Learn to adjust next time. WTF.
  10. Agree. That's why the Pats* win. Yeah, they got a great QB. But we were beating that QB in the first half. They adjusted. They zagged. We stupidly and stubbornly kept zigging. This was a complete coaching failure. Even with the picks, and fumbles, we could have won this game...if we coached smartly. Still can't believe the insanity of staying the course on a failing scheme--Nickel D, no blitzes--while the Pats were eating us alive.
  11. "I think they were really challenging us to run the ball," Brady said. "They had some little guys on the field with our big personnel groupings, so at that point you have to try and take advantage of it. You can't just keep throwing into a heavy pass defense, so we ran it." Despite the poor showing of our D line, and Fitz, this was a coaching failure from start to finish. If we had adjusted, we might have won that game, as crazy as it sounds looking at the score.
  12. I agree. Best talent we've had in years. REFUSING to adjust to a few blitz plays after the front 4 showed time and time again a complete inability to pressure Brady is downright insane. It's one thing for one of the best QBs in the league to beat us. It's another for our asinine refusal to change it up defensively. This team won't win more than 6 with this current philosophy.
  13. Same old tactic, same result, time to change the tactic. This DC's lack of basic common sense--not mixing in a blitz when the front 4 isn't delivering--is staggering.
  14. I have to agree with some of the posters. Our coaching staff had no clue today. Pressure Brady, cover Gronk and Welker. If our front 4 isn't doing it, blitz for crying out loud. Learn to adjust. Don't be so freaking stubborn. Fitz looked awful. Coaching was worse.
  15. My sucky analysis: Pass rush: Sucked. $200 m for this? Run D: Sucked, big time. !00-plus yards for each RB. Pass D: Slightly sucked, let Gronk and Welker run wild, but did force a couple fumbles QB: Sucked big time, times three. WTF Fitz? Receivers: Slightly sucked, didn't do anything really RBs: Didn't suck, but didn't do anything non sucky either O line: Sucked
  16. Great, you just let Belichick* know all our secrets.
  17. I like his analysis on Fitz. Will it be the good Fitz or the bad Fitz? He threw three interceptions to the New York Jets, but in the last two weeks, he hasn't thrown one. That's who he is. I see him as a quarterback who stares down his receivers and has an elongated delivery. He gives everything he has into throwing the ball. As defenders you can get a good read on that, and get good breaks on the ball, so this is a guy you'll have the opportunity to get interceptions on. But it's going to be harder to sack him. Through three games, he's only been sacked one time, and only been hit eight times. The offensive line has played well and Fitz's decisiveness has helped. He gets the ball, makes a decision, and throws the ball whether the window is small or not. He trusts his arm. So that's the Fitz you get -- he'll read a defense and get rid of the ball, and he's going to take chances.
  18. Geographically, and culturally, it would make sense. No problem at all with it. Bills seem out of place in the AFC East.
  19. Nonsense. D line is a force. This line is going to bring the heat, assuming the secondary does it job. It's like half of these guys talk out of their ass.
  20. Agree with everything you said. Will be tough with CJ or a 100 percent healthy Fred. This comes down to Fitz not making mistakes, a ferocious pass rush and opportunistic secondary. (And the 12th man).
  21. Cutler is a franchise QB. Hard to have great stats when you're running for your life every play. He's got a bad attitude, but hands down one of the toughest QBs in the league.
  22. The guy has been one of the best parts of this team for years. So, he had a bad game last week... Surprising if it's true.
  23. Have not found any reputable sites to report this. The bad grammar is a giveaway that it's a joke. But then again, so is this officiating. I'm waiting for The Replacements 2, starring Keanu Reeves as an official. This is a bad movie waiting to happen.
  24. I see both points, and lean toward the prudence and classiness of taking the knee. However, how much ya want to bet Belichick* would have gone for the jugular in the same circumstance?
  25. I'll take high TDs over low passing yards any day. Useless stat. Passing yards are low because CJ has been running like a madman.
