  1. How come we didn't zig left when we should've zagged right? Given a different score, and a missed 2-pointer, you'd be asking why we didn't kick a PAT.
  2. This ideaology, if you can call it that, does seem utterly boneheaded given this team's lack of ability to get to the QB with four, and its overall epically bad D.
  3. C'mon. You're really saying this AFTER the game? It could have easily have haunted us, given a different score. He called a good game. This Chan bashing has to stop. He did not give up all those yards to C. Johnson, or throw that INT.
  4. Chan's play calling was good today--we scored a hella lot of points. He did not throw the INT. And he did not give Chris Johnson 5,000 yards, or give up the winning TD.
  5. Mr. Wilson was calling the plays?
  6. Wanny is a loser. Fitz is what he is, played a good game, made the worst possible throw at the end at the worst possible time. Despite the criticism, Gailey called a good game...until the very end...much like the Cardinals game. Mario is a ghost. Wanny is a loser.
  7. Fitz delivers what fans have been waiting for: Consistent accuracy on short and medium passes, and better than horrible accuracy on deep ones. Homers then say he's a franchise QB. Naysayers say bring on Thigpen, it's only an anomaly. Others: One pick. CJ Spiller and F Jackson both have stellar days. TJ Graham catches a bomb. Chandler has a huge day. S. Johnson has a lot of yards, but doesn't find the endzone. D line performs just OK. One sack. Nothing special, but nothing bad, against a solid O line. Chris Johnson explodes. 110 yards, 2 TDs. Two INTs against an overly confident Hasselback. We don't use the Wildcat. We score on a trick punt return. :flirt: We win a close one in a high scoring affair, 38-36.
  8. Couldn't even read the whole thing. Pure cynicism. It's unhealthy. And it's dishonest reporting.
  9. Are you kidding? His look is 100 percent stoner. His eyes look baked even when he's not getting sacked 10 times in a game. And Billy Joe Hobert's knowledge of the playbook.
  10. And the stoner aloofness of Jay Cutler.
  11. The toughness of Jim Kelly. The smarts of Fitzpatrick. The completeness of Rodgers. The tactical expertise of P. Manning. The swagger of Joe Namath The mobility of Griffin. Jim Fitzrodmanath III. ...Or a Fitzpatrick who can throw good.
  12. That's why our defense is putrid? Gap control? Sounds like a Prince song. Is that what Wanny means by "fit it up?" Seriously--why can't we have a two-gap system in a 4-3? Our D sucked in a 3-4. It sucks even worse in a 4-3. I really don't understand all of this. Seems to me it's a simple case of our D line not getting any pressure, teams adjusting properly, and Wanny not having the ability to play the chess game with solid O coordinators. Twice, teams have exploited our pass heavy D, with one or two LBs, with a run attack. Three times, our philosophy of not blitzing has bit us in the ass. Seems to me this is a simple lack of ferociousness by the D line, poor play calling, stubborn committal to philosophy, and the inevitable mistakes of two young CBs.
  13. WNY, after that game, it went downhill for the Bills. Hopefully, this game is the opposite. I have good feelings about it. Desert healing and all. Two straight weeks of humiliation. Believe it or not, I'm actually considering starting the Bills D in my fantasy league. Fully aware of the potential stupidity of that...but like I said, call it a feeling.
  14. Didn't you hear the coaches? It's neither the DC or the talent. The problem is not having "mental toughness." And not "fitting it up." We get mental toughness and fit it up, we'll be right as rain.
  15. That is the magic zone. The .8 seconds in which Fitz becomes an elite QB. Could happen.
  16. ...I would, however, give the Bills the slight edge over actual cardinals. Religious or avian variety.
  17. Unless things drastically change in six days, the Bills won't beat the St. Louis Cards.
  18. Good thing we got rid of Merriman. He just wasn't up to snuff. Even though the measly few games he played in last year, he had more impact than the entire D line combined this year. FU Wannstedt, or whoever is making the calls. You actually made this defense worse. How--with the addition of Williams, Anderson and Gilmore--I don't know. But you did it. This could be the worst D in the league and the worst in my Bills watching life. I actually thought it was going to be one of the best. WTF.
  19. 9) He did it AGAIN!!! Wanny had 1 f-----g linebacker on the field on 3rd and 5, with approx 5 1/2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Of course, they ran it down our throats. This. I thought I noticed some lack of guys--again--in the middle. Thought he'd learn his lesson after the NE debacle. F'ng despicable this coach is.
  20. We just need to "fit the gap" and get some "mental toughness." Once we find those things, then we gonna be special.
  21. Good grief. This could be the worst hire ever. How can we still let him run this pitiful defense? Analog is a good analogy. The 8-track makes this guy look out of date.
  22. Brain cancer. Lung cancer. Stomach cancer. Bladder cancer. Skin cancer. Prostate cancer. Add a million other diseases. But the NFL focuses on breast cancer. All month. The pink thing, for four games, is overkill, ineffective, arbitrary, and obnoxious.
  23. Abandon all hope, all ye who follow this turd of a team. Fitz is actually getting worse; he coud be the most inaccurate QB in the NFL. Wannstedt is clueless. The D line can't sack Lindsay Lohan. When she's passed out. Can't believe I fell for the hype...again.
  24. This thread is so...gay.
