  1. 1. His nonstop effort. Running routes, every play, is tiring. Most receivers run them half-ass if they know they aren't getting the ball. Look at him, especially against Revis. He runs every route like he's the No. 1 target. I saw him give Revis a (successful) quadruple move at the line once. What he lacks in speed, he more than has in effort and cardio endurance. 2. His ability to get open. I'll defer to Fitz on that one. He's been quoted many times as saying the guy just finds ways to get open. As for the big moment, though, despite having a top-10 catch-per-pass ratio... ...he's 0-2.
  2. Without the injuries last season, we were an 8-8 quality team. With a revamped D, an addition to the O line, and more depth, I fully expect 11 or 12 this season.
  3. The Bills' O has a damn fine short and medium horizontal game. Money aside, I think a Mike Wallace type player is the piece that could make this offense dominant vertically. He has the ability to catch errant passes deep, and he's apparently the fastest player in the NFL. Would love a move like that.
  4. Is it just me or is every highlight of Vince Young an INT? Either they're trying to eliminate any QB controversy with fans by only showing the INTs. Or he throws a hell of a lot of INTs.
  5. San Marzanos? Will have to try the carrot thing. Seems weird in a tomato sauce on a pizza, but I'll try it.
  6. Oh well. His opinion, his opinion. But... Didn't know WNYers didn't know the word "hello." Guys--it's a introductory greeting that us people in the South give. Also, it's used derisively to question the comprehension, intelligence or common sense of the person being addressed. In other words, we're obsessed over some guy named Josh Reed. Hello! And "Where we have great weather?" I lived in Northern Lousyanna. You have to take a shower after walking to your car in the summer. And, uh, do hurricanes come to mind? And "the people are horrible" in WNY? Been to Nola a few times, love the city. But it's one of the most dangerous places in America. We were followed once by a thug late at night--wasn't acting drunk--from a bar to my car. Was also nearly accosted--I'm a big guy--while having lunch on a sidewalk cafe. Nola also happens to be one of the most corrupt cities in America. Hello.
  7. The two analysts picked the Bills to finish the division third and fourth.
  8. Yes, I'm bumping my own thread in hopes the NYCBB get back.
  9. NYC Bills Backers: When will these tickets be available? And who can purchase them? Thanks!
  10. A lot of hate for Edwards here. He seems like a good guy, who would be a decent backup. He shouldn't have been a starter, but we had no one else better. And Juaron's offensive system was a joke. Edwards actually started out strong--5 and 0. Few mistakes. Good distribution. Accurate (albeit short) passes. Then, defenses started figuring Juaron's and Edward's system. And then the hit he took...I think against the Cardinals...left him a little skiddish. I hope the guy becomes a decent backup. And concerning Edward's Arm's comments about Fitz not being as good as Cutler, I'd take Fitz any day. Cutler has probably the worst attitude of any QB, and while the guy is tough for taking a gazillion sacks, he quit in the playoffs. Can't see Fitz doing that. Better days ahead, fellas. It starts in September.
  11. If he's ever going to be a rapper, he's going to have to remember his lyrics and stop using a cellphone as a teleprompter.
  12. I wouldn't worry or get too excited. Those shots are cherry picked amongst a hundred other good throws. But yeah, I'm excited about this D. I hate to say it, but to me he looks he should be in a 70s porno.
  13. All you have to be is on the email list, which I am, to be a member right? The Jets are doing this? When--soon? Any NYCBBB officers with info / advice here would be greatly appreciated. 14. Might be interested in the NYC Bills Backers deal.
  15. Hey everybody. I'm purchasing four tickets for the Jets-Bills opener Sept. 9. Can't wait! Haven't been to a Meadowlands game since I was a kid. Any insight on areas of the stadium where a lot of Bills fans will be and where to sit to get your best bang for the buck? Do you know of any Bills-fan contingencies buying up seats anywhere? What about tailgaiting areas? Thanks!
  16. You have a bit of a point. I am also more apt to drink a few more before a game, or a night on the town for that matter, when prices are high. But then, you just have more people drinking at the game. So it kinda levels itself out. Tailgaters are going to drink period. Dropping the price down a couple bucks isn't going to make a big dent IMO.
  17. How can Jacksonville NOT be on that list? Stadium looks like an XFL game every time I watch them. Surprised to see Buffalo so high. Is that because December games are so cold and often futile? Or, is the stadium just bigger than the market? Thought Buffalo would at least be middle of the pack. Nothing remarkable here, apps and WiFi are great, but lower the damn prices already. Don't mind spending $10 for beers. It limits drunks. But I don't understand how families can even afford to go to more than one game a year at an average price of $77 per ticket. And one more thing, thanks for the great link, but to give readers a better glimpse on your post, and to circumvent the mods: [Please fix this subject]
  18. "Every team needs five quarterbacks." -Buddy Nix.
  19. If you're ready for action, you're going to have to wait a few more weeks than that. Great interview by the way. I'm also hoping for a controversy, one so great that it will make Mark Sanchez cry on the sideline when Jets fans are booing him.
  20. Don't know what Wickard was, but Kelo, which gave local governments the right to condem property for economic development--i.e. eminent domain--was the worst I've ever seen. The healthcare mandate would be a close second.
  21. ...I can't help it.
