  1. Brutal hit. And totally clean. Horrible, horrible call.
  2. 36 tackles? If he gains a few pounds, I say plug him in at linebacker.
  3. Or maybe he's in training to be a human statue.
  4. As one poster said, it looks like a Madden glitch.
  5. I heard he ran the 40 in infinity.
  6. It's a good pick, but this clip is pretty funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHqrcXFnXbM&feature=related
  7. Too funny. Most Buffalonians move south, and most Bills move north.
  8. I'm reserving judgment. He could very well be a phenom. From the videos I've seen of him, however, it doesn't appear he will be a regular down player. He's a burner, but doesn't seem to have the skills to draw in the inaccurate deep balls Fitzy will likely throw. He also doesn't appear to have the frame to withstand regular shorter inside routes. I could be wrong, which I hope I am. Buddy said he wanted a big, physical AND fast receiver. He got just one of those traits in Graham, and it appears this guy would have been there later. I'm not pretending to know more than the brass--I clearly don't--but this pick is nonetheless a puzzler. Let's hope it turns into a pleasant puzzle.
  9. Still no explanation. Good lord, we traded up for a guy people were saying was a 7th rounder. It's a legit question. Not saying he's bad. Just want some insight.
  10. I need someone smarter than I am to explain why we traded up to draft a guy no one--not even a poster who lives near NC State--has ever heard of.
  11. I heard from someone who really knows that he's fast. ... Bizarre pick.
  12. I grew up all over the place in the Northeast, and now live in Atlanta. I became a fan in Utica, NY in 1990. I consider myself a real fan--the Bills found me, not the other way around--even though I never lived in WNY.
  13. I fail to see why getting two first rounders or two second rounders for double the late rounders is such a bad thing, as long as it's done prudently. I'd much rather have two potential studs than four backups. I would love two picks in the second in place of a 4th and 3rd. We already have two 4ths anyway. Right now, the 2nd is stacked. Everything after that could be depth or project picks. NE's strategy this draft will pay off--two first rounders for a Superbowl team(!)--even if they have the fewest picks of the litter. Having said that, I trust this crew to make good picks.

  15. Hug montage: http://www.sbnation.com/2012-nfl-draft/2012/4/26/2979022/roger-goodell-hugs-video-2012-nfl-draft
  16. Freaky. The quadruple hand slaps, or whatever you call them, were bad enough. The hugging thing is just plain weird. Goodell and most of these guys probably never met and they're hugging each other like they're lifelong bros. That avatar gives me the heebie-jeebies.
  17. Thank you for the insight. The pick was a surprise, but I have faith in the current administration. Go Bills. And Dawgs.
  18. Who are these sources? It's like Source A reports that Source B is reporting X, and Source B reports that Source A is also saying X. If I've learned anything, it's Buddy Nix says what he does and viceversa. Hasn't he said the Bills weren't going to trade up? (I don't know if I've actually heard him say it, or if I was relying on what someone said here, which is kind of like the above scenario). Despite what Chris Brown said in his mock, with a No. 10 going for a safety, and this rumor, I say we're already stacked at safety, aren't moving up, and drafting Kuechley (LB) at 10.
  19. It's a legit story, and the reporting is good--they did far more than just report the report. The U.S. Attorney's Office was involved; ESPN would be negligent if it didn't report this. I have no idea whether the source is truthful, but that's not ESPN's job at this point. As for the PR flack saying it's "1,000 percent false", that is his job. Does it make it any more believable if it's 1 million percent? Or 1 bazillion percent? This is a bombshell of a story--bigger than Bountygate times 10 if it turns out to be even remotely true. On another note, maybe the Deepthroat is Jeremy Shockey.
  20. Do you guys know how to post videos to Facebook?
  21. His trash talk will be around capital gains taxes and deductions. I can actually see it happening.
  22. Hope he makes the cut and blows it up every week he doesn't play us. I love stories like this.
  23. Good news for me. Much closer! Never heard of this bar, though. See y'all at the draft. On another note, I loved Hudson Grill, but the food, other than the wings, was awful. Tavern 99 looks like they have some good pub fare.
