  1. Chef Jim, I fully support the legalization of prostitution. You can read all about it on Breaking the Law.
  2. Thought I'd delve into the murky swamp that is known as PPP. I just started a blog, Breaking The Law. It's mission is to chronicle stupid laws, the prying politicians who pass them, the busybody bureaucrats who enforce them, our growing Nanny Nation…and the lawbreaker in all of us. Hope this isn't seen as too promotional, but I need some readers already. If you think there are too many laws governing your life, whether you're a Democrat or Republican, then this site's for you. If you see any stupid laws in your town--ones that take away freedom--shoot me a note. Go Bills. -JustInAtlanta
  3. Now I know...Seems like it should be the other way. Thanks. Thanks.
  4. Stupid question, but I've never understood spreads. Buffalo Bills (+5.5) at New York Jets. Does that mean Bills 5.5 pts over the Jets or the other way around? And Buffalo Bills (-1) at Cleveland Browns. Bills one point dog or the other way around? Seems like it would be the other way around but the way it's written, not so.
  5. Do we know for a fact he has transplants?
  6. We need an expert on this matter. Paging Mr. Peter Pan...
  7. I say we will have the greatest team in the history of all sports. To the OP, we're going to have a decent D for a change, that's for sure. But best secondary? C'mon. I know we'll have a better pass rush, which should help the secondary. Cornerback and safety depth are still a question mark to me, even if our first round pick hits his stride in Week 1. Who am I kidding? Can't shake the optimism this year. Wanstache is back. Dareus hits his prime. Williams and Williams wreak havoc. Merriman becomes healthy. Byrd and Wilson continue to pluck footballs out of thin air. Gilmore becomes the next Champ Bailey. McKelvin learns how to actually break up passes. Best secondary in the NFL, baby.
  8. I can't believe the Mods froze the Mama Seau thread. Not every thread needs to be 8 pages. How do you guys determine what needs its own thread or not? Why not just make one giant thread called "football?" One was about the breaking news. Another was a heartfelt post on his mom. Good grief.
  9. Frankly, your ad hominem statements represent deductive reasoning at its worst. A straw man argument implementing red herring logic and black swan blindness, actually. On TBD, we stick with syllogistic logic. I have no idea what I just said. Just wanted to sound smart like you guys
  10. Thought I'd pass along, for some fun, some verbatim comments from my Saints fan friend. On the commish's hand slaps to the draftees: "Watching that sanctimonious hyprocrite do anything is painful for this Saints fan. I hope he gets hit by a f-ing bus on Park Ave." On whether or not Saints fans needed a hug like the ones he was giving to draftees: "No thanks. I'd settle for him simply producing publicly the evidence of where the team paid a bounty and also knocked a player out a game." I'm afraid to ask him what he thinks about this development.
  11. Imagine the possibilities. Stevie Johnson in the back of a pickup on the left. Freddie Jackson sitting on the goalposts... We'd be unstoppable.
  12. http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/eeca4e7ae6/vince-young-for-towels VY for towels.
  13. You sayin he's smarter than Mitt Romney? Just a joke. Someone confused VY for Mike Vick. The reference was about Roethlisberger and Plaxico.
  14. I personally will never forgive VY for what he did to that college girl in Georgia. Then there was that time he shot himself in the leg.
  15. Didn't he strap his dogs on the roof of his mini van?
  16. I'm glad they're giving him a workout. If he's better than Thigpen, which he probably is, then sign him...if we're sure there won't be any QB controversy drama. He has a history of controversy, as well as a questionable work ethic, and I never want to see any episode ala Johnson-Flutie. The Bills, to me, are a stable team of likable guys. I worry that Young could be a harbinger of said drama but I'm also willing to keep an open mind. And just to temper some of the posts I've seen here, and especially elsewhere about him unseating Fitz and even winning us a SB (just saw that one), the guy was cut... for Trent Edwards.
  17. Throw in Tim Tebow's soul and you'd have one fine QB.
  18. I thought VY was a good idea until I just thought of that. Egad.
  19. 5th round pick Tank Carder, a former BMX champion who was told he'd never walk who hits like a...tank...and his name is Tank: 1 thread, 88 replies. 7th round pick John Potter, a guy who...kicks a lot of touchbacks: 2 threads, 103 replies. Make that 104.
  20. "You can never have enough kickers." -Buddy Nix
  21. No. 2 WR definitely. We have a slew of talented No. 3s and 4s, but we missed the boat on a someone who could draw double coverage. This Graham pick is a mystery. Fitz needs a guy who can get deep AND pull in inaccurate throws. Unless Easley turns out to be that guy, I see us struggling stretching the field vertically. Other than that, mighty good draft. Our O line should be something special. I think Nigel Bradham will be a regular rotational player within a few games, and will be an impact kind of guy. Can't wait to see Tank Carder play. And we got better in our secondary, which was already decent. Only other concern is backup QB. If Fitz played with broken ribs last season, I got to think our backup QB situation is pretty bad, although I wouldn't know, because Thigpen never played.
  22. You mean the guy we sacked 12 times in one game?
