  1. No, no, no. We need continuity.
  2. And Buffalonians haven't left Buffalo in droves?
  3. You say the same thing when a news publication or outlet teases a big story? I have no problem with that. It's got us yapping about it, doesn't it?
  4. To your MOFO question, many. To your Paladino question, no comment (does his support of a particular politician make him a douche, or his use of the popular slang term "mofo" make him one?) Everything you said is ridiculous. Sorry.
  5. Why is everyone giving Thurman Thomas so much smack?
  6. How can we be a nationally-followed team without any national games? How can Pittsburgh NOT be a nationally-followed team when they're on every freaking week? Yes, I can blame the networks. I want to watch some teams outside the select few that the networks have chosen. The Cowboys are on almost as much as Pittsburgh. Both have similar records to ours. Insane programming.
  7. CJ is one of the best backs in the league. No one outside Bills Nation knows who Levitre or Byrd are, however, due to our having the fewest nationally televised games in the NFL--one!!!--so with a losing team like ours I doubt they'll be there. I'm not exaggerating--the Steelers have been on in Atlanta every freaking week except one. Ridiculous programming, which continues to put the Bills in obscurity, further adding to players not wanting to come to this team, and further adding to our woeful record. Yeah, yeah, "winning will cure everything." They both have a cause and effect. Not the primary cause, of course, but a cause nonetheless. If CJ doesn't make it, there's something seriously wrong with the committee who selects these players.
  8. He hasn't been completely useless. His intelligence on Seattle helped us immensely in that game.
  9. Agree, Fitz does give us the best chance out of that bunch.
  10. Those announcers don't know nothing. That Wanny style D. Just fit it up, baby.™
  11. Why we suck: Botched draft picks. Interceptions whenever the game is on the line. Losing mentality. Laughable QB play. Simpleminded defensive schemes.
  12. Easy--Bills. Lions have made the playoffs in the past 13 years, are televised nationally four to five times a year--I've gotten one game all year in Atlanta--have a franchise QB, and a superstar receiver. All they're lacking IMO is a decent O line and RB and they'll be back in the playoffs. It appears as if A) We're going to get more of the same crap next season or B) Start over from scratch.
  13. Think a half way point would be preferable. At some point, everyone--even coaches--need to be human. And let's remember Bilichick lost the last Superbowl, and Ryan made it to two AFC championships. Used socks? Do I even want to know what you're implying?
  14. Fabulous read. Thanks for sharing. I've always liked Rex Ryan, and don't understand why so many people don't. He's honest. And funny. Seems like he is the anti Bilichick, a guy who cut a player the day before the Superbowl last year.
  15. As a UGA grad, every school, Tech included, has classes for jocks. What did Calvin Johnson major in?
  16. True, we'd probably love him if Fitz were playing as well as I thought he would this year and if we were in the playoff hunt like I also thought we would be. And Chan's schemes are solid. What he does with screens and the spread offense blows my mind. He's also shown some flashes of brilliance. Plus, he's likable--I wanted him to succeed. I still do. But he's also shown some flashes of ineptitude. Lately, his playcalling has been wretched. Time management, worse. We all know he's not using our most powerful weapon, Spiller, nearly enough. And the record--seriously...it's pathetic. He can't beat our biggest rivals here, or at Georgia Tech. Three wins against the AFCE. And not once did he beat my alma matter, UGA, in the five or so years he coached there. He's had his shot. If he wasn't able to get us in the playoff hunt with this talent, it's time to move on. Thirteen years, no playoffs. Three years under Gailey, we still have a losing record. Will he do better with a better QB? Probably. But I fear it's not enough.
  17. I'd say there'd be at least one. His one job on this team was to provide intel on the Hawks. If that's a result of good intel, I'd hate to see a bad result.
