Wow the Titans D looks kitten soft.

OMG what the hell kind of explanation did Jerry Austin just give??? Like setting off a BS cloud grenade. Mariotta's forward progress was stopped?? He was standing still!!! got hit and clearly fumbled the ball. but his forward progress was stopped?!!!! what utter idiocy is this!!

One of the worst parts of the drought for me was how it seemed that the Bills situation seemed to fly in the face of the law of averages, defied chance and luck and almost seemed like a curse. There were way too many times that we should have made the playoffs and the most freakish things happened that went against us. All those times we needed a Dalton/Boyd play for us we never got one instead we got McKelvin fumbling to the Pats or an insanely bad officiating decision. Just a horrible time to be a fan.

If the Bills are going to win this, they have to get up early and force Bortles and the Jags to chase the game. If they can get the Jags to abandon the run and Bortles panics it will rain INTs. If the Jags get the run game going, the Bills are dead meat.

I do still respect Marrone as a coach but he looked out of ideas and pretty frustrated with his team yesterday. The jags looked really bad overall and got a lucky TD. Bortles was abysmal and his INTs made him look noodley armed. If the Bills can take advantage of turnovers, they will win this!

I cannot get over how great these college qbs look esp in the bowl games and then they turn into Jamarcus Russel in the NFL . How can scouts for NFL teams possibly know if they can make the jump to the NFL.? Seems like guessing to me.

I watched the home run throwback game in an American sports bar in Antigua, Guatemala while travelling through Central America in 1999/2000. The sparse crowd in there was mostly indifferent to either team. As a Bills fan I was loudly cheering for the Bills by myself much to the amusement of a sympathetic Jets fan at the next table. When the Bills went up on the Christie FG I was elated, only to be crushed seconds later. When the Bengals scored yesterday it was like an orgasm of liberation for me from that terrible moment in that bar all those years ago! So awesome!

Had to watch the Bills game online because I’m at Disney in Orlando. The local station had the jags game on so I watched that one on the TV. Jags looked awful and only got a lucky TD on a gaffe by Mariotta. Bortles looked really, really bad. This is a very winnable game!

I loved that call! Fairytale for Kyle! The love on the sidelines was awesome as well. Really cool of McD and Denn to do that!!

I can understand your frustration at the lack of buzz, but surely you and the rest of us have seen this movie before and we all know how it ends. We fall just short because of one stupid loss (insert your selected game here). A winnable game blown by drops, officiating, bad coaching or acts of God. Its Charlie Brown kicking the football for the Bills whenever we are in this situation and the mirage of the playoffs is always cruelly taken away. At the same time do you have any confidence that TT can get it done vs the Fins in Miami? I really wanted TT to play the game of his life last week vs the Pats but he was really lacking when it mattered most. He just doesn't seem to have it when he needs to take the team on his back. So you can probably understand that most fans have little optimism that we can finally get over the hump on Sunday.

I didn't feel that bad that Dareus got traded. I thought that his suspensions, the sloppy attitude and his meagre pass rush sealed his fate. However his run stuffing ability or even the fact that his humungous size made RBs run around him and be tackled by others I completely missed. His value was there and nowhere else. Too bad the monster contract made Beane nervous. Had he been signed to something reasonable he might still be there. In any case the run defense has been absolutely abysmal since. You would think though that Beane and McDermott would have been aware of this strength of Dareus and at the very least had a plan B for the run stopping.

In a sumo match?? well in that case its Tolbert hands down!! A Crisco eating contest? Tolbert once again dominates. Exploding for a 2 yard gain on a 2nd and 25?? Tolbert!!! Dropping a crucial slant route with the ball passed into his arms and ample torso? TOLBERT AGAIN!! Gilleslie would be so mentally crushed by this stage he would slink away tail between his legs and somehow try to comfort himself with no 1 seed in the playoffs.

The delusional part of me (a strong part of me as a Bills fan) always believes we can win against anyone, that luck will intervene and we will get a break and pull it off. However the logical part did not have much hope yesterday. In fact of all the meetings with the Pats this is probably one of the least confident I have been pregame. In the past we have had at least a strong defense, pass rush or something going for us to balance out the constant mediocrity at QB. This time we had a mediocre and injured defense combined with a mediocre QB and poor offensive coordinator who makes really dumb decisions at the worst times. In the end it all played out like it was supposed to. I'm still illogically angry about it though!!

Oh I agree TT has to go. Next week is probably his last game as a Bill (unless the playoff miracle happens). I thought Peterman was decent in the preseason but you have to be related to the guy to not be completely terrified of what you seen from him since. I don't think he is the answer either, and definitely not next week after a concussion.

Sorry but TT is our only chance to win in Miami. As bad as he has been at times throughout the season as much as he cannot rise to the occasion (like today) he is still better than a pretty mediocre rookie. You have to have sniffed gasoline to think that Peterman could somehow be better right now after that potentially career destroying performance in SD and then if that wasn't bad enough, getting his bell rung on a stupid play vs the Colts. What could possibly make you think that he could get it done at this point against a fearsome pass rush like the Fins have. They would eat Peterman alive. The bottom line is both qbs suck, TT just a little less at this point.

Find Karlos Williams Stat!! Offer him a bag of crack or whatever he likes.

I didn't like the call for a FG not because of the weather or the distance. I didn't like it because even if he makes it who cares!! its the Pats and Brady. You need TDs!! we needed a TD there to keep even with them. Up to that point we had been very lucky to hold them to 2 tds but we had blown 3 possible TDs and got FGs. Kicking the FG there was just giving up because you have no confidence in your offense to get the first down. If it was any other team in the league, I am for the FG but not the Pats. Unless you match them toe to toe you are done!!

I was screaming for McCoy to somehow break it to the endzone because I knew we would mess things up inside the 10. Sadly Shady had a great play but came up short and the inevitable bad QB/ dumb OC took over.

To win this game we would have to had played completely error free and converted every red zone trip into a TD. We failed to do that. The drop in the endzone by Clay? was a gut punch, the Benjamin TD being overturned was a kick to the nuts but we were still looking good on that first drive of the 2nd half. The real momentum swinger was the 15 yard sack on TT. It killed the entire series right there. Probably one of TT's worst plays as a Bill. Once they had us there the Pats D smelled the blood in the water. It was absolutely crucial we score on that possession and give our D some time to rest instead after the sack we have an absolutely incredible 2nd and 25 but here comes the call of the season from Dennison. A draw to Tubby Tolbert. Maybe Shady there might have caught them off guard but a big lumbering guy like Tolbert who even if he had the element of surprise on the draw would have been so slow that the defenders would have caught him before even 10 yards just finished us off. 2 supremely boneheaded plays in a row.

That drive was career defining for TT. With everything on the line, he acts like a deer in the headlights and gets sacked and fumbles. Its over TT, see ya and good luck in free agency.

I'm sorry but I don't care how good NE is, how bias the refs are. Just based on pure freakish luck, the law of averages, we deserve some sort of break here. some kind of act of god whatever. Let it happen now!!
