As much as I agree with the OP's sentiment about the Bills lack of response in standing up for a teammate, the target of his rage is misplaced. Kyle has never been that type of player to brawl and that's what you needed there. I have no problem with any of the Bills players going after Gronk at all. There should have been a sidelines clearing brawl after that. But Kyle is not your man to lead it.

Yes they would be better and probably would have made the playoffs. However with Marrone's relationship with the front office/GM and his crustiness, there was no way any that they could live with each other. Pegula would have had to step in and fire somebody eventually. You cannot thrive with that level of dysfunction.

Watching White's battle with Gronk today, I kept thinking Gronk looks like a head taller than him. Sure enough when I checked the stats Gronk is a full 7" taller than White. When I looked at the other DB's on the Bills they are all about 5ft10" to 6FT. Somebody many years ago was trying to explain this to me an said they get smaller DB's in football because they are faster than tall guys and have great jumping ability. That being said how does this logic still apply? I mean everybody is fast today, even the Linemen with their incredible girths are faster than some of the RB's in the 80s! So why aren't the DB's now fast and TALL? How in the hell can you cover guys like Gronk when he has that height advantage? White did the best he could today and the INT was a great play on his part but he was seriously physically overmatched. Does anyone have tall DB's?

I love Gronk's lame half assed apology. Yeah "I was frustrated" so I hit him in the head late and out of bounds. But frustrated about what?? He had 9 rec for 147! He made an outstanding grab with White in a great position to intercept. He has no Td catches but his team is winning easily with the game out of reach. He got beat by Davis who gave as good as he got and took a page from Gronk's book and pushed him away to make the pick. Yup incredibly frustrating to be you today, better smash someone in the head. What an utter Dbag. I wont feel sorry for Gronk when the inevitable helmet to the knee ends his career, accidental or not. -
Miami Dolphins 1970s vs Patriots 2001-Present

Oddly enough I was thinking this comparison the other day. I am too young to appreciate the total domination of the Fins in the 70s but I did start watching the NFL in 1979. They lost both games to the Fins that year to close out the miserable decade Back in the early 80s the commentators would talk ad nauseam about how the Fins always beat us, literally every time we played them. Schula is exactly like BB is with the Pats now. His record at the beginning of the 80s vs us was unbelievable. Even though we beat them in 1980, we still lost the majority of games until Kelly turned it around in the late 80s. The Pats domination to me is worse because it has taken place during a salary cap era with a single QB who never gets injured. They dominate us, get lucky when they absolutely need it and the Refs give them all the breaks. Its domination and humiliation at the same time. -
The spot that the refs gave the Pats on that play was incredibly generous. The hilarious thing is that they didn't even call for a measurement. Just gave him fake yardage. Everybody including McD thought they were on 4th down. so of course the Pats run a play before anyone can react. They at least get that the refs incompetence must be exploited asap. all the other fool coaches still feel the refs are doing a great job

It wasn't just a dirty hit by Gronk but it was a weasely cowardly hit, well after the play , blind side to the head of a defenseless player. It should have been an immediate ejection. Instead we get more penalties. Of course Hughes mouths off and gets 15 . Why didn't Hughes or any Bill go after Gronk right after that. A douche play like that would never go unpunished in hockey, yet all the Bills D just do nothing??!!! -

If the Bills aren't actually holding (which they do a lot) the refs will invent a chincy call . -

All Things considered a great half. But infuriatingly they should have 2 TDs . Why do they always shoot themselves in the foot vs the Pats? -

Bills are hanging around, The refs will have to really kick in the New England set of special rules now. I like the Bills mixing it up on offense. But we need a break, a pick 6 something incredibly unusual!! -
This might have been one of the plays of the game, Refs call a justifiable holding call on the Wisconsin O line but miss completely a defensive holding PI on Ohio which was blatantly obvious. Wisconsin never recovered from the Penalty. too much yardage to make up.

You think Brady still thinks about the 03 game?
Livinginthepast replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let me see 5 rings, a super model wife, the NFL record book filled with his name and after the last SB an almost 100% agreement by the media he is the GOAT... No I don't think he cares too much about 2003. Add to that he has taken almost every opportunity since to pound us in the posterior and call us "bitches" .... I think he is over it -
We have been having this discussion all week on here and previous weeks and forever. I personally think Belichick is just a better more focussed Wade Philips without Brady. He's a great coach with many strengths but everything comes down to Brady. The fact that he is respected/feared/hated around the league is just a consequence of being an intelligent guy in a sea of moron, dimwitted coaches. Almost every time Belichick has made odd or bad decisions during games he gets bailed out by Brady. When his team experiences bad luck, Brady makes it right. When events don't go as planned or against him the football Gods intervene and bring up an obscure rule (like the tuck game) but who is the QB? not Bledsoe!! Its Brady!!. When you put Belichick into a chess match with many of these coaches he just lets them make the stupid mistakes that sink them. The Atlanta SB was a perfect example. Dan Quinn's abysmal game management handed the Pats victory. Pete Carrol lets Belichick off the hook by calling a pass play in the 2015 SB at the 1 yard line. The list goes on and on. Great coach but nothing without Brady.
