  1. Well, Dennison did suck.
  2. How will the crowd react when Mayfield makes his rookie mistakes and throws the inevitable pick?
  3. Probably because he ends up getting hit hard.
  4. He was a decent FA pickup in 2014. That defense was pretty good.
  5. Ok, ok, I get it. He was a punk when he was with Miami. But he's still better than anyone we have at WR.
  6. I wish we had Jarvis Landry. Would be sooo much better than KB.
  7. RIP Sweet Sally Sunshine. Donation made in memory of her.
  8. I've tried the optimistic route, and it got me no where. These next two weeks will be painful. I'm close to concurring with the folks saying this is a really bad team...they seem to be right.
  9. Vikings 31 Bills 10
  10. My condolences. RIP young lady.
  11. Yes, like Peterman is the most underrated Bills QB.
  12. They're looking at the situation from the outside, like the rest of us, and may actually know less than some on this board. I say this because there was no one from OBD, or players on the team, quoted in the article. It appears to be an opinion piece; they are saying nothing different than the rest of the national media. Vontae Davis knew he was signing with a team that was going to have a rough time of it, especially early in the season. His fault for not signing elsewhere, or retiring after last season.
  13. They'll get at least 2 - 3 more years.
  14. Both will be a blood bath. I went with the Packers because Aaron Rodgers will pick apart our defense. If you think Flacco and Rivers did a number, it will be nothing compared to Rodgers.
  15. This would be smart. When Cousins was with Washington, he was susceptible to throwing picks when the pressure came.
  16. Nah, the Bills don't win this week either, we get crushed 31-3. I'm tired of being optimistic against teams like Baltimore and LAC where we got embarrassed in what should have been winnable games.
  17. What percentage of the current NE fans will remain fans when the team reverts back to mediocrity? 3/4, 1/2, less?
  18. He said the exact same thing last week, referring to the team as young. Several astute posters here pointed out that the team is not young. Maybe McD is referring to who he considers his core players going forward, mainly Allen, Edmunds, White, and a few others.
  19. Good to hear from you @PatsFanNH. I think a lot of us are optimistic regarding Josh Allen, who should continue to start, make his rookie mistakes, and get the experience he needs to be a better QB in the upcoming seasons. This year will be tough, but if Allen, and Tremaine Edmunds on defense, can show improvement come December, maybe that is the best we can hope for. Allen isn't as inaccurate as his scouting reports mentioned, though he does make some errant throws, which every rookie QB does...as well as some vets. The OLine should be the point of focus come this off-season. RG, C, LG, RT needs to be figured out. Dawkins is a young LT, but probably the least of our worries on the line. Wouldn't mind seeing the OLine coach replaced, either. Hopefully McDermott will come to placing priority on performance and not maintaining his good old boy network. We may be seeing this happening with Leslie Frazier, who McD took away defensive play calling from at half time. We also need a true WR1, as that is not Kelvin Benjamin.
  20. It's too bad we can't bring in Whaley's pro personnel department and get rid of Beane's. Let Beane handle the drafts since he seems to be good at it, though we won't know his hits and misses for several years. Knowing we'll have a lot of cap space next year, and Beane bringing in FA's (which he hasn't done a great job with so far), I don't know if I should be optimistic or terrified.
  21. This makes sense. Unfortunately, Bodine to center and Groy to guard is nothing to get excited about. From what I saw of Bodine during preseason, he wasn't a very good center; can't imagine Cincy is missing him. And then there is Mills at RT which is bad and not an upgrade for at this time.
  22. Power, enforce your will football...I like it
  23. Frazier must have had it brought to his attention that the defense was supposed to be the strength of the team.
  24. He also has a much better supporting cast around him. Will be interesting to watch Mahomes develop, though
