Out of chaos comes stability. We better hope this is the case with the Bills. Sounds about right. Peterman starting lead to chaos yesterday, like when he started against the Chargers. The next week Buffalo improbably beat KC, in KC. Can we beat the Charges in Buffalo next week? Not an impossibility, but will they fix enough this week in order to do so is the question.

True, but the Ravens are not a strong running team. They want to upgrade the RB position, but did not have the money this past off season due to Flacco's contract. It could have been worse (if even possible) if the Ravens had a better run game. Still Balt averaged 5 yard per carry, which seems decent for them. So, not sure if Star is having an impact on run defense, a few more games should be telling.

I doubt this. Why would Dallas give us anything for KB after his performance today, as well as injury history?

Beane's pro personnel dept has not got off to a good start. Maybe that will change with a better cap position next season? Say what you will about Whaley as a GM, but he found some good FA acquisitions.

IMO, not out of the question the Bills bounce back and beat the Chargers. At the very least, we'll see how much resiliency the team has and how seriously they took the Balt loss.

I don't recall hearing Star's name mentioned today. I agree, not seeing the value. Just another Carolina cast off who Beane and McD know and are comfortable with, and Carolina is probably all too happy to be rid of.

Well said. The defense was very disappointing. Have to wonder what Frazier was thinking/trying to accomplish. What worries me is the FAs that Beane and McD picked up, so far this has been very underwhelming. Say what you want about Whaley as a GM, but he really shined in finding diamonds in the FA rough. I wish there was a way to replace the current pro personnel scouts with that of Whaley's tenure. This past draft class will take a few years to evaluate.

Not surprising this is what these guys are saying to the media; fairly bland and disappointed. I just wonder what they're really thinking and saying behind closed doors. In any competitive sport/environment, this is the kind of loss where you question leadership and what you're doing. The only thing that could ease this type of sentiment is the fact that it is only week 1.

That's probably right. Really wishing EJ Gaines would have worked out. Probably will need to address CB (again) in the offseason since neither Gaines or Davis appears to be the answer, at least at this early juncture.

I doubt AJ would have done much better than Peterman today. I don't think we would have won had Allen started. Whole team and coach fail.

Reports after preseason was that he's not quite ready to start. Needs a little more practice and work. But considering Ducass' performance, how bad can Teller be?
