Right...exactly. The defense was supposed to keep the game from getting out of hand. We knew the offense would be impotent, but wasn't expecting this with the D.
Seems they might be overthinking this a little. Peterman was terrible and is not the future, Josh Allen is the future. Conventional wisdom is McD was hoping Peterman would be good enough to allow Allen to learn and allow the game to slow down. So now if you're going to have a QB be terrible, it might as well be Josh Allen. Peterman may not be a lot further in his development than Allen, but with a lot less upside.
I don't necessarily have a problem with a FB on the roster. Just use the FB, which we did not during week 1. DiMarco did nothing, so I can see your gripe here.
Coherent post and I agree with you. My, and probably other's contention, is that I thought we were getting away from bad contracts resulting in more dead cap. We've added to that with McCarron and now Kerley. We're locked into Star through next year, I believe.
Yeah, I got that. But if he, or any tall receiver, can't catch, they are of no use. Not saying to cut KB right now, but he has a lot to prove and he is one of the guys being counted on to step up. Both KB and Clay.
In the mix is Juan Castillo, who seems to struggle getting the OLine in sync. Let's see how long it takes Teller to break the starting lineup...supposedly Castillo is better developing young talent than integrating vets.
That would be sad. Have to wonder exactly what Leslie Frazier does during the week. His defense gets the most resources and attention so what happened against Baltimore really shouldn't happen at all.
Beane and McD should be safe for a couple more years. But they might want to revisit some position coaches (WR and OL) as well as maybe light a fire under Leslie Frazier. No way the defense should have been that bad; it was supposed to be the strength of the team to keep the Bills in the game.
That was a good movie soundtrack, which probably did better than the movie, itself. I have the CD, though don't listen to it much anymore.
Let's go OLD SCHOOL with a funky twist. Something about this one I love.
Peterman seems like a good guy who I wish things would have worked out better. Just like Tim Tebow is a good guy who the Broncos probably wish it would have worked out better than it did. Supposedly things happen for a reason, so hopefully better times are ahead for Nate...NFL or not.
