  1. I am surprised we're still taking a decent dead cap hit for Aaron Williams. He hasn't played for us in what, three years?
  2. Good post...makes sense. The players are not learning it quick enough, so I would look for it to change. I really doubt McD wants to go 3-13 or 0-16; even though he cautioned that the Bills would take a step back, that bad of a season is both embarrassing and a headache for a coach. McD has to take charge at this point and force his coaches to change things up to actually fit the player's talents.
  3. Exactly. This defense through the first six quarters reminds me of Rex's defense. Rush three, everyone else cover, and put more pressure on the DBs. It makes no sense. A strong pass rush will force the QB to make mistakes, take sacks, and get rid of the ball before he's ready to. A good pass rush will make a mediocre secondary look good. Not sure why some of these coaches like to get so cute in their schemes. Look at how the Giants beat the Pats* in two SBs, it wasn't by putting more pressure on the DB's which Brady would have shredded.
  4. Yeah, I thought that was the plan going into the season - run the ball more. Maybe that changed when Daboll saw the OLine was doing a poor job at run blocking, as Hapless pointed out in his post. When 1-3 OLinemen whiff on their blocks, none of our RBs are going to make any headway. Pass blocking does seem to be better, but ironically the receivers are not that good. Bad problems to have.
  5. My guess is McD deferred the offense and blocking schemes to Daboll and Castillo. He's starting to see (maybe) that he needs to be (even) more involved on the offensive side, at least as a sanity check, and force a change/modification if the original plan isn't working - which it does not appear to be. This kind of concerns me about Daboll, assuming we have been seeing his blocking scheme imposed on our OLinemen who are not built to execute it.
  6. Hopefully blocking scheme will be one of, if not the biggest, change to the Oline this week and going forward. These guys just are not athletic enough to pull off zone blocking or cut blocks. Let them go straight ahead and power block, the results might surprise and Miller might automagically turn into a good guard.
  7. Yes, they are. There has been A LOT of discussion about this. It is well known.
  8. Only missed it by 10 years, but this is funny. I don't know, I'm not a bike scientist. What I am though is a manly guy looking to sell his bike. This bike is made out of metal and kick a** spokes. The back reflector was taken off, but if you think that deters me from riding at night, you're way wrong. I practiced ninja training in Japan's mount Fuji for 5 years and the first rule they teach about ninja biking is that back reflectors let the enemy know where you are. Not having a rear reflector is like saying "F*** YOU CAR, JUST TRY AND FIND ME". The bike says Giant on the side because it's referring to my junk, but rest assured even if you have tiny junk that Giant advertisement is going to remain right where it is. I bought this bike for 300 dollars from a retired mercenary that fought in both World War 1 and World War 2 and had his right arm bitten off by a shark in the Phillipines while stationed there as a shark handler. When he sold it to me I had to arm wrestle him for the honor to buy it. I broke his arm in 7 places when I did. He was so impressed with me he offered me to be his son but I thought that was sissy **** so I said no way. The bike has some rusted screws, but that just shows how much of a bad a** you are. Everyone knows rusted screws on a bike means that you probably drove it underwater and that's bad a** in itself. Those screws can be replaced with shiny new ones, but if you're going to go to that trouble why not just punch yourself in the balls since you're probably a dickless lizard who doesn't like to look intimidating. The bike is for men because the seat is flat or some s**t and not shaped like a dildo. If you like flat seated bikes you're going to love this thing because it doesn't try to penetrate your a** or anything. I've topped out at 75 miles per hour on this uphill but if you're just a regular man you'll probably top it out at 10 miles per hour. This thing is listed as a street bike which is man-code for bike tank. The bike has 7 speeds in total: Gear 1 - Sissy Gear Gear 2 - Less Sissy Gear Gear 3 - Least Sissy Gear Gear 4 - Boy Gear Gear 5 - Pre-teen Boy Gear Gear 6 - Manly Gear Gear 7 - Big Muscles Gear I only like gear 6 and 7 to be honest. Additionally, this tool of all immense men comes with a gigantic lock to keep it secure. The lock is the size of a bull's testicles and tells people you don't f*** around with locking up your bike tank. It tells would-be-thieves "Hey a**hole, touch this bike and I'll appear from the bushes ready to club you with a two-by-four". Bike is for 150 OBO (and don't give me no panzy prices) it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests post id: 765370039 email to friend
  9. Point spread ties are pushes, right? So if the final score is 34-17 Minny, would that be a push?
  10. ^^^This^^^. Vegas is in business to make money, so they're pretty certain Buffalo will get beat badly with a spread that big. Good luck @BuffaloRush hope it works out for you. Just don't bet more than you can afford to lose in the future.
  11. From what little I saw of Trubisky, it looks like the game is a little slower for him than for Allen at this point. I do think Allen has better physical tools, but needs to recognize the defense and be able to adjust at the snap count. In a year from now, I would think JA >> Trubisky.
  12. LOL, don't hope too much. This season was not about now, it is about the future and developing a core group of younger guys, including Allen. Playoffs last year was lucky, but we'll take it. Not gonna happen this year.
  13. Tell us you expect a Jets win over Minny and Green Bay. That would be entertaining.
  14. Sort of. I got the impression that McD would have trotted Peterman back out against the Chargers. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think he was ready to start Allen just yet.
  15. Sense? They had no choice and McD seemed not to be happy about that
  16. Michael Irvin is as obnoxious as his attire choice
  17. I'm glad we have Allen rather than Darnold
  18. Let's see what happens when Mayfield has to go against the Bengals and Ravens. Steelers, meh, their defense sucks.
  19. Is there one of those for Buffalo? There should be.
  20. Cleveland as a backup to Mayfield
  21. Exactly. If I had to choose which one I'd want to take a cheap hit, I'd have to give the edge to Gronkowski. But Landry is still a punk, who I wish was a Bill...have to admit.
  22. Not revisionist history at all. I watched some of their games, but not all, and I do recall their fan discontent with the offense. Pretty amazing how far that offense dropped once Dennison took over. I don't buy that Manning all of the sudden fell off a cliff between 2014 and 2015. That 2015 Bronco team would have been even better without Dennison.
  23. Dennison completely changed the offense and took much of the play calling away from Manning. Dennison benched Manning for Osweiler, and how did that work out? Peyton wasn't the same as his Colts days, but he was good enough physically.
  24. Tyrod has his limitations, no doubt. But Dennison neutered the 2015 Broncos offense and Peyton Manning. Their offense wasn't anywhere near as good as the three years before Dennison was the OC.
