No. The other team has to play in the same conditions on the same field.

As well as SB XLII. Coughlin out schemed Belichick. What team has (just one side) of the ball that are all studs and no pieces missing? None. There are holes in every offense and defensive squad in every team, even in 'powerhouse' teams. SBs XXV and XLII prove this, as well as coaching mattering more than you seem to be giving credit.

Cautiously optimistic. I take the preseason with a grain of salt since we may not have seen what the real Oline, Dline, etc will actually look like. Plus coaches call various schemes to see how guys perform/react. This Sunday vs Balt, and next Sunday vs Chargers will be good tests and give an idea of what this Bills team is.

Between Ralph, Russ, and Marrone (then Rex) we had the Three Stooges, only not as funny. You can't blame Whaley for leaving the Steelers and taking the chance at being an NFL GM. There are only 32 of those positions, and they come available rarely. You have to take that chance, like a promotion you're not sure you can do at work.
