  1. Murphy is shaping up to be the EJ Gaines of the DE position. Do we want to go through that again? There is an argument for Fede to make the team unless a better option is found, and I'm not holding my breath for Khalil Mack to be a Bill.
  2. If Augie hates Popeyes, that's telling. Popeyes is easily the best fast food chain fried chicken
  3. Khairi Lee is supposedly the best blocking TE on the squad, or so I heard. Was he supposed to chip block Myles Garret while coming off the line on the play where Garret crushed AJ and broke his collar bone? If so (and it kind of looked like this was the case), that was the worst effort of a chip block probably ever and should knock Lee down several notches in the competition for a TE spot. If not, then that was completely on Dawkins. Makes no difference if Myles Garret is very, very good; lots of DEs and LBs in the NFL are very good. We can't have another QB go down with a multi month injury.
  4. Allen looks to be the elusive franchise QB we've been waiting for. Baldinger is right about the OLine, which needs to get squared away quickly. The guys he picked on - Ducasse, Dawkins, and Mills were all there last year. This is on Juan Castillo.
  5. That’s not what I said, and frankly, have no idea how you arrived at this conclusion
  6. I get what you're saying and I largely agree. However, you can't have your QB getting destroyed from the blind side like what (very unfortunately) happened to AJ. Because of that, he's done for the rest of preseason and into October, assuming he makes the team. If Allen starts and gets injured due to poor blocking, you're down to Peterman. Not a good scenario. There is absolutely work that needs to be done with the blocking assignments, as well as possibly scheme and technique, so the QB has a chance to stay healthy.
  7. Not a bad idea. Edmunds is going to have enough growing pains, the added pressure of calling the defense might be a little much for him right now. See how things go later in the season then maybe think about giving Edmunds play calling duties. Only downside here is you have to keep Lorax on the field for all three downs, just don't make him drop into coverage...if this is possible.
  8. I agree, O'Leary has been solid when called upon. He's not spectacular, but he makes the plays he needs to. Clay is decent and will be on the roster this year, but we probably need to keep at least three TEs since Clay isn't the most durable player. Always seems to be nicked up.
  9. Nick "on the bubble" O'Leary
  10. I'm not..I'm so %^$*ing done with this team. I mean, losing to the Browns...?
  11. You can never have too many punters...
  12. I can't believe we're still talking about letting Darius go. Ask Jax how they feel about Darius in a couple of months, or even at this point.
  13. Yep. Let him start game 3 with the 1's.
  14. He looks better than the average rookie. If Allen starts game 3, I think he starts the regular season.
  15. Wow. Great poise shown by Josh Allen.
  16. Why? It just means the Bills would have gone back to NE, and lost there. We're used to that.
  17. I see the argument the OP is making. On one hand, officially, the drought is over. On the other hand, it would be nice to see them decisively get into the playoffs without help. As to the former, that was probably the best case scenario for last years team, so they out performed IMO. As to the later, I don't expect to see that until next season. If the Bills get into the playoffs this year, I suspect it will be similar to what we saw seven months ago.
  18. This was a great post. Sounds like you're a good manager and not a total *SS-hole
  19. I didn't say that was the only pass he dropped, just the one he is most known for, and probably crushed his confidence. He took it pretty hard after that game. I never said I had proof he'll regain it, just that I'm optimistic he'll shake last year off.
  20. In general, Ramsey's statements are classless. He's setting himself up to be proven a fool, and I can't wait to see it.
  21. Matthew Stafford's wife is not amused... "Waste of time and space"
  22. It's unfortunate that Zay is most known for the dropped pass vs Carolina, and that he was not on the same page as Tyrod on the route. I'm optimistic that Zay will start to gain more confidence at the position and end up having a good season.
  23. Sweeping the stadium and taking out the trash? That's the least he can do for $5M/year
  24. I think Rex and Rob are done in the NFL, in any capacity. Rex proved that he is a hard-head who can't/won't adapt and Rob has proven that he is a buffoon.
