We can only hope. Realistically, he will be year by year going forward. The end is close, though.

EJ Gaines out “a number of weeks” (groin) per McDermott
Happy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gaines' groin injury probably comes as no surprise to the coaching staff. He was probably signed as depth with the intention of limited playing time. -

Mass shooting at El Paso Walmart/and also Dayton OH
Happy replied to Patrick Duffy's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So "Individualism is destroying us." should not be taken at face value? This country was founded on the idea individualism, with individuals forming a collective for national defense and sovereignty. -
oh good. I was afraid Tom wasn't going to get paid this year. ?

Exactly. Individualism is not the problem. Guns are not the problem. If more people kept this in mind: "love your neighbor as yourself" none of this would happen. -
Texans waive D’Onta Foreman (update - claimed by Colts)
Happy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think that would happen. IF by some miracle it did, maybe that should be entertained. Realistically, I don't think anyone would give up a high pick, or player in a trade, for a RB in the twilight of his career. -
IMO, the tech giants are just as big of a threat to what the Founders envisioned for this nation as big government (swamp, career politicians) is. I, too, am not anti-capitalist, but this goes waayyy beyond capitalism. There are definitely many out there who want communism and they are doing all they can to steer the county in that direction. What they stupidly and ignorantly ignore is that socialism and communism has never succeeded.

Agree. Shady staying in Buffalo makes more sense for the Bills than trading him. Yeldon would be the logical choice to trade. -
Fine. Let him retire a Raven. He was a Raven longer than he was a Bill.

Carl Paladino: Put new stadium in Cobblestone district
Happy replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're probably correct about the LA stadiums. I was just stating what I remember hearing/reading about the Carrier Dome a while back. Actually, I found a couple of links - From 2014: https://www.nunesmagician.com/2014/11/21/7257733/carrier-dome-nfl-bills-jets-syracuse From 2018 https://www.syracuse.com/orangesports/2018/05/syracuse_details_118_million_in_carrier_dome_renovations_including_permanent_roo.html?__vfz=rtw_top_pages%3D9789600014006 which mentions wireless upgrades needed, as well as A/C upgrade (maybe Carrier can help out here) And a TBD thread about just this topic from last year -
Carl Paladino: Put new stadium in Cobblestone district
Happy replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think PTR is right about this. For some reason, I remember hearing/reading about the data network in the Carrier Dome not being sufficient for the NFL. There is probably a bandwidth difference between what the NFL needs vs what college football needs. -

Good points on the options of places the Bills could play if NEF is renovated. I would guess UB would be a less likely option due to the small capacity. The Carrier Dome seems like a possibility. Here is another possibility, and one that may not be too popular - what about the Bills playing in Toronto? The Rodgers Center has a dome and a capacity of >58K, where the Bills played a home game for a couple of (miserable) seasons. Could be an option, though not a popular one. -
Bills at Giants Regular Season 1990 Highlights
Happy replied to mykidsdad's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Turn the tables, in 2007 the Patriots beat the NY Giants in December. The NYG went on to beat the Pats in the SB almost two months later. Steve Spagnuolo and Tom Coughlin got a good look at the Pats dominant offense and saw how it and Brady could be defeated. I love the 1990 Bills highlights. Best team to not win the SB. -
Do you pee when taking a shower sometimes?
Happy replied to Patrick Duffy's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Well, yeah...we're not the best mannered bunch...jumping on burning tables and having buddies put the fire out with beer, along with other things frowned upon by the NFL, society, etc. -

All the time. I do try and aim for the drain, not piss on the surround or anything like that. -

I wonder if this has anything to do with it: Paladino, whose Ellicott Development Co. already owns a significant portion of land in the neighborhood, Poloncarz sounded like he was completely against a stadium in downtown. While a politician may not be able to stop a private entity from this, he can make it very difficult on the Pegulas.
