  1. Seems to be the most likely explanation. The Pats have the right combination of coach, GM, QB, and an owner who did not get in the way.
  2. I seemed to recall him getting beat by his receiver fairly regularly. I suppose he was good depth, but depth guys are like insurance...you don't want to have to use it.
  3. Only if Melrose Place follows in the next TV slot.
  4. That's fine, I was hoping he would be cut. Big drop off in talent from Poyer and Hyde. Should be easily replaceable.
  5. How many times can a team catch lightning in a bottle? They may have (correctly) figured that Brady would be good, but they couldn't have seen this run.
  6. I saw the post above. On paper, I agree that this 2019 team is better, but they have not played a game so there is still a lot to determine. Without a doubt the financial position is much better right now. It is believed that Jim Overdorf handled the contracts, not Whaley. Whaley appeared to be adrift and aimless because the Bills definition of a GM was adrift and aimless.
  7. Joe, in all fairness, look who the coaches were. Whaley, was definitely hamstrung here. Anyway, water under the bridge and I'm rooting for Beane and McD to succeed because I want the Bills to win a SB in my lifetime.
  8. I am just glad the Patriots didn't get him. If they did, that dynasty would go on for another 15 years.
  9. I guess if you're of Italian or Greek descent, you are naturally inclined to having a darker complexion. I can see guidos supplementing this with sprays and tanning beds.
  10. Beane and McD probably need to win a few more games before I would go this far. They seem to be on the right path, though this season will be telling.
  11. You know what I hate? Ugly chix in bikinis...micro or other.
  12. And I don't like hot. Winter is my favorite season; I love skiing and snowboarding.
  13. Not so much any more. I loved beaches when I was younger, but have become a mountain person as I have grown older. Beaches are kind of boring.
  14. Fair point. I do like the Jets Dline better as well as Greggo as DC.
  15. Meh, another instance of the media giving the Jets too much credit; they forget Adam Gase is the HC. SI also has the Vikings winning the NFC North over the Bears as well as Atlanta winning the NFC South over the Saints; neither of which should happen.
  16. I don't trust politicians, either. If, for example, the $400 million dollar relocation clause and negotiations didn't go as described in the book, Littman (and probably lawyers aware of the matter) could say something about that to the Buffalo News, Rochester D&C, etc. Poloncarz would be called out, so there probably is a least a bit of truth in the book.
  17. This is a good point. Keep a problem child who is the engine to the offense, or get something for him and he is no longer the Cowboy's problem; quite a decision. He is probably a violation away from a multi game suspension.
  18. I don't think Littman could do anything about it. If Littman cared about the Bills staying in Buffalo, he wouldn't have been so surprised, upset, or even minded this fee was attached to the deal.
  19. I wonder if Dallas ends up trading him. Zeke, while a very good RB, is a head ache off the field.
  20. I really don't care that Littman did not vigorously agree to the relocation fee. Shouldn't have cared either way, since the team would be sold to the highest bidder, which it was.
  21. If it was so wrong without an element of truth, then why was Littman surprised and angry when the state dropped the $400 million relocation "bomb"? I do believe Littman was acting in the best interest for the Wilson estate, but let's not pretend he didn't have a lot to gain from it.
  22. Littman seemed like a little turd who didn't care about the Bills or the fans; he was a bean counter who wanted to get paid...a lot. Not surprised given how tight fisted he was while in the front office.
  23. As what, a 13 year old? ROFL.. Pretty crazy, stories like this one keep happening again and again. Nope, I'll never get caught with this 13 year old kid...
  24. Well, Brady did say he likes soft balls (no pun intended)...unless he was covering for BB, which is not out of the question. Those two work in tandem.
