Is Donovan McNabb Hall of Fame Worthy?
Happy replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Voted no. McNabb was very good, but not HOF worthy. I don't think being in/not being in or winning/losing a SB matters. -
The outer crust makes or breaks the pizza. A bad outer crust just means a bad main crust where the sauce and cheese is.

Is There Any Position That The Bills Got Worse In The Offseason?
Happy replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep, Clay was bad. After him there was no one. I think TE and WR are the positions we'll see the largest improvement in this year. Last year was bad in both positions. -

I think we'll struggle at the DE position; we have Hughes and Shaq Lawson - which until proven otherwise is still largely potential. And after that, not much.. The DTs are going to have to be better than last year to get a good edge rush. -
Jim Kelly's latest cancer scan...ALL CLEAR!

Awesome news. Happy to hear this. -
Death, Taxes and Peterman lighting it up....
Happy replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let him start Peterman come Sept. Should be fun... -
The bolded is not true. While the 2017 domestic violence incident is clouded, he returns to the news in 2019 for violent behavior again. Zeke travels with a security detail to help keep him out of trouble, though their effectiveness in their mission can be questioned. Twice doesn't necessarily make a trend, but one seems to be forming. Zeke admits he likes to party and drink lots of alcohol; a lot of us do, only in a more responsible manner. He also admits he did drugs in college. Hard to believe Zeke stopped once he got to the NFL. A poster knowledgeable in the workings of the NFL earlier in this thread has stated that Zeke still does drugs, but is smart enough to avoid testing positive for it in late April. Zeke is a thug, and at the least, an irresponsible goon.

DE Jerry Hughes: Signs two-year extension
Happy replied to CaptnCoke11's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Excellent move. Good on Beane getting this done now. -
Normal conversation where he uses his body (which is at least twice as big as her) to block her from walking away? Getting in the face of an event staffer then using his forearm to push him to the ground? I say Zeke looks to be a straight up thug.

HMO: Crazy Trade Idea for the Allen Naysayers
Happy replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Crazy idea? More like bad idea. Risk not worth the potential reward with Wentz. I'd rather ride with what we have now in JA. -
These helmet designs are terrible. Seems every year this pops up. Just awful.

Expectations for Josh Allen this year
Happy replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seriously? This is beyond the pale, don't you think? Josh Allen was a rookie who played half a season. He was not even the designated starting QB at training camp last year, so he didn't get the reps that Nate Peterman got. Does Allen need some refinement? Yes. Is he a poor man's TT? Not a chance. Tyrod was afraid to throw the ball unless his receiver was "college open." Not the case with Josh Allen. The last few games at the end of the season seemed to indicate that Allen has a high ceiling; this year should indicate more of what is to come. Add in the additions to WR, RB, TE, and the OLine which will give Allen more to work with than what he had last year. This is the first time since Jim Kelly retired that the QB position is trending up for us. -
Bills projected to pick 4th in 2020
Happy replied to Happy Days Lois & Clark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of course the Cheats are picking at 32 again; what a novel prediction. ? -
Peyton is a level above Flacco, SB wins aside. IMO, Peyton's "washed up, rag arm" was a little over blown. He was still a very good QB in Denver with a more than sufficient arm, just not with quite the zip he had on the ball back in Indy.

I think that (Flacco) is the best basket they have at this point. They better hope Drew Lock is what they hope he will be, but that will take a couple of seasons to develop.

Jets fire GM Mike Maccagnan, name Adam Gase interim GM
Happy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you referring to Grier in Miami, or MacCagnan in NJ? -

If so, that is the end of McD, and possibly Beane. I would personally lean against this happening. -

You didn't like MacCagnan? I thought he had the Jets going in the right direction. Agree that Greggo is a good DC hire. Not sure what to think of Chris Grier in Miami. Have to see if he gels with the new HC. I hope not! -

Miami apparently didn't think he was so good. We'll see. -

I was starting to get concerned that the Jets were on the right track, at least player personnel wise, with MacCagnan. Now they shoot themselves in the foot by going all in on Gase. They'll be a wreck, probably worse than Miami. Good for us. -

Worst case should be that this is just a misdemeanor for Krafty Bob. If so, he'll just get a slap on the hand. I want to see what Goodell does for punishment. If no punishment from the NFL, that would be a travesty.
