I think thats it. The Nike site claims the numbers for the $100 is silcon print, which should last longer and has more of a matte finish.
-
+1 Obviously.

I wonder what the quality will be like with all of Nike's "added" features like the fit neck and tailored look.

I tried to stay away from this thread but... You seriously lose all credibility with that statement. Jerry Rice, the best WR in history, that was onf of his best tools if not THE best. Jerry Rice was not fast by any means. If hands and speed were the only tool, guys like Lee Evans, Percy Harvin, Roscoe Parrish would be elite. They have/had all the speed in the world, but can't run routes nearly as well as SJ.

Nawrocki's "Fit-Based Mock"
Wayne Cubed replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, said this in another thread... But Glenn was 1 of the 26 players invited to attend the draft live. Reiff was not invited. 26 Players Invited Could mean absolutely nothing. But I'm of the opinion that the NFL must poll teams/GM's to gauge who to invite. Ask them who there top 2-3 choices might be and pool that together to pick 26. -
Why I think we must go Punter in the 1st round

Athlete's Foot? hmmm, no thats two words.... -
Funny but the NFL didn't even invite Reiff to attend the draft live. Which could be nothing, but it also could mean there's a sense he won't be going 1st round. You would think the NFL would poll GM's/teams to see their top 3-4 first round choices, to insure that player walks to the podium. AT LEAST for the top 10 picks. 26 players invited

Man, Robert Royal... I remember my friends and I would yell at the TV not to throw it to "stone hands." Guy just could not catch. -

I'm tellin ya, Bryan Anger out of Cal is that pick. I know Buddy doesn't really like Pac-10 players, but this is as much a can't miss punter as ever. If the Bills have to they should trade up with the Vikings to secure that we get him. -
Actually thats incorrect. Its been written in several articles that hosting a super bowl, generally doesn't benefit the city. here's a quote from a proffesor who studied multiple super bowls. “The results are shocking,” Porter wrote in “Mega-Sports Events as Municipal Investments: A Critique of Impact Analysis,” a chapter in The Economics of Sport. “For each of the six events studied in three different locations, there is no measurable impact on spending associated with the event. The projected spending and spillover benefits of regional impact models never materialize.”

Generally speaking, the shorter the vent the faster the drying will occur. Also rigid, flexible venting, although easier to work with, reduces air flow and over time will build up lint. The shortest and straightest vent is the best way to go.

Wayne Cubed replied to voodoo poonani's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm thinking Bryan Anger out of Cal is our best bet in the 1st Rnd. He's 6'4" 207(much much larger than Moorman) In 2011 averaged 44.3 YPP, with 18 punts of 50 yards or more and 19 punts inside the 20. You can't ever pass up the chance at franchise punter. Although some GMs would suggest waiting til the later rounds to draft a punter, you can't ever pass up THIS much of a sure thing in Rnd 1. Get er' done Buddy. -
Why I think we must go OT in the 1st round
Wayne Cubed replied to seq004's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I only mentioned Pro Bowls, because thats what the article linked seemed to use as a base point. Some of the WR's that have been picked 6-15 had/have good career numbers and would be an acceptable #2 WR in the Bills offense today. -

To be quite honest, you could take that same formula he used for WR's and apply it to LT's. In fact thats just what I did. Take a look at LT's taken with picks 6-15(I only went as far back as 2008): 2011: Tyron Smith - Was plugged into RT and did an OK job. Probably moves to LT this season. 2010: Russell Okung - Caught a bit of the injury bug. Is doing OK, certainly not pro-bowl caliber. Anthony Davis - Is now playing RT. 2009: Eugene Monroe - Inconsistant play at best. Andre Smith - Again, is now playing RT. 2008: Ryan Clady - Best one selected. Made Pro Bowl in 2011 as alternate Chris Williams - Is playing G now. Branden Albert - Is doing ok at LT for the Chiefs. So thats 1 pro bowl appearance out of 9 LT's. What does it all mean? The draft is a crap shoot. The Bills need a day 1 starter at LT, otherwise whats the point? Maybe the Bills shouldn't select a LT based on the outcomes of previous LT's selected between 6-15. -
My annual rant about draft value.

And what I'm saying is, great Carucci was right THIS time. I'm sure I could list plenty of other times he was completely wrong. Even a broken clock is right 2 times a day. If Whitner turned out to be a pro bowl/all pro then guess what? Carruci would have been wrong. And no one would be saying he was a reach. -
My annual rant about draft value.
Wayne Cubed replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think PTR has it here. You can't add value to a draft pick until after the fact. The Donte Whitner example is perfect. Everyone says that he was a reach at 8, which in HINDSIGHT is right. So these Draft people got 1 right. Whoopie doo. But if Donte turned into a Pro Bowl safety, does anyone say after the fact he was a reach? probably not. It works the other way too. If a player like Blackmon, Kalil, etc fall to the Bills in this draft and they select one it will be said the Bills got "great value." But if they don't turn out to be that all stat player on the field, was it great value? No it wasn't. Hell you could say it was a reach. Most would just say bust. -

Greg Williams ...caught on tape....
Wayne Cubed replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As a side point, some hits go unpenalized or fined. And I agree with you it doesn't mean that his players went out there and did that. I honestly believe these kind of speeches happen a lot in the NFL. But to specifically remind your players to hit on the outside of the knee cause it will tear the ACL, seems a bit far. So for me, when a poster says this was strictly for motivation, I don't buy that. Especially since its known that a bounty system was in place, so it would make sense to remind your players how to injure or where to injure other players. -

Wayne Cubed replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lets see, 15 yard penalty, with the possibility of the starting QB....... wait for it.......NOT BEING ABLE TO RETURN TO THE GAME. Doesn't sound to terrible of a penalty to me for what you are achieving.... And to top it off, you get $10,000 check in your locker after the game. But hey, I'm sure he wasn't really suggesting players do this... purely motivation. -

Wayne Cubed replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And again... This is about a bounty system... so there is financial gain. And lets be honest, the refs don't catch everything at the bottom of a pile. -

Seriously? The guy reminded his players where to hit, to cause the most injury... what part of that is motivation? -

I guess thats why the Bills decided to tender Urbik and sign Pears to a new contract. Armchair GMs, what would the off-season consist of without them? -

This is a great point. And again this is why certain stats don't tell the entire story.

Nike uniform unveiling discussion
Wayne Cubed replied to Wayne Cubed's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Packers and Falcons players were already quoted saying they liked the new fabric better. In fact Packers players have been saying they liked their alternate jerseys better because the fabrication in the pants didn't include the rib strips. What does everyone else think of the 3 jersey options for fans. 1. Game Jersey ($100) - Seems like a better version of reeboks replica. Silcon print numbers(whatever that is) 2. Limited Jersey ($135) - No pictures available yet, but says the numbers are stitched and has the same fabrication as what the players wear but not same fabric. 3. Elite Jersey ($250) - Basically what the players wear, including the same materials/fabrics. So its waterproof. I like that their is an in between jersey, although its for $135. I'm guessing China will end up replicating the Limited jersey because they won't be able to get the fabric that the Elite jersey's are made of.
