No way... Bears would have potentionally $30 million next year in just the DE position. Not to mention they have other wholes to fill. That's a pipe dreams IMO -
They would fill in the parts that are currently tarped off...

I dispise Sal Maiorana as well. He did an article basically stating don't expect much from the Bills in FA. Which given the Bills history I can understand, and he quoted Nix's earlier statments about building through the draft. BUT, he then doesn't acknowledge that Nix has now said they are going to be big players this year in FA. Spend to the cap etc.

I don't think its that he hates Fitz. I think its more that he really likes Tebow.

Why do the last 12 years get lumped together
Wayne Cubed replied to PNW_Bills_Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Than why come to this board?!? Is it to say "I told ya so"? I ask because I just don't understand supporting something that you feel so negative about. It's like voting for something that you don't agree with. Or giving money to charity that you don't agree with. Why do it? -

Idk if I would go so far as to call him a snitch and a rat, but he's definitely looking for attention, seeing as 2 of the main articles on ESPN are about him. Either that or ESPN is looking to glorify him and the entire situation. -

Starting QB...Jauron - who didn't start under Jauron, was considered a back up, Edwards was the starter Starting RB...Jauron - who didn't start under Jauron, was considered a back up, Marshawn was the starter Starting #1 WR...Jauron - AGAIN, who didn't start under Jauron, TO and Evans... Johnson only saw the field because of Gailey/Nix Starting center ...Jauron - Who was drafted in 09' when Nix was head of college scouting starting guard...Jauron- Who was drafted in 09' when Nix was head of college scouting starting LT... Jauron- Who was drafted in 09' when Nix was head of college scouting 3 of the people you listed, Moron coudln't even identify the talent. so whats your point again? -

Seriously? From the Moron/Levy drafts, there is a total of 5 players remaining. One, Kyle Williams, from 2006. A big fat ZERO from 2007. Four, which could end up being 1, from 2008(Johnson, Bell, Corner, McKelvin). In 2009 Nix took over as head of college scouting, so Byrd, Levitre and Wood could be considered his players. In total, from 06-08(3 drafts), it could end up being 2 players remaining from those drafts. Let that sink in for a second. In 2010 when gailey/nix took over they were handed a pile of crap. Johnson wasn't even in the starting line up. The team as a whole lacked talent or couldn't evalute it(Johnson). The 2010 draft yeilded Spiller, Troup, Carrington, Moats, Batten, Easley. Spiller looks like the real deal, Carrington is starting to make an impact and Moats and Batten are good depth. Easley and Troup are still an unknown. The 2011 draft was even better. With Dareus, A. Williams, Sheppard, Hariston, Searcy and Rodgers looking to be big contributors. Both Whites are good depth as well. In those 2 and will say half drafts, Nix has identified more talent than Jauron/Levy could in 3+ drafts. He's putting the pieces back together and the wins will come. But to say Nix was handed a program capable of winning and rich with talent is a load of BS IMO. -
Personally, I think if Peyton goes to Miami and Flynn to the Skins', then the Browns have absolutely no need to move up to aquire RGIII. There wouldn't be a team in the top 10 looking for a QB besides the Browns. And even they don't seem like they want to give up their draft picks to move up. If it ends up that no one wants to trade with St. Louis, I'm sure they will be happy enough to "settle" for the best LT or WR prospect.

Personally, flash is crap. Slows things way down with the file sizes. For my money, if web pages want motion/movie graphics on their pages, I would use java.

The Quick Fix For The Defense
Wayne Cubed replied to SWVABillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with you, but I honestly don't think it's even the money. The Bills could throw a load of money at him but, and I think people who start these forums don't understand, he is a FA. He has his choice of going wherever he would like. And other teams are going to throw all sorts of money at him as well as us. There just isn't anything the Bills can offer him that other teams can't, including money. Especially with regards to money with this new system of rolling over money from previous years. There are LOTS of teams with LOTS of cap space. Edit: If what happened with Clabo last year is any indication, Willliams will use us for leverage for another team to get more money -

We will just have to agree to disagree. There isn't a lot of great 3D content out there as well, again we are talking for TV and home use. And as much as this article(?) says there is 2D to 3D conversion happening, I'm sorry but I don't buy that. There isn't any program thats out there that will automatically know which parts of a show or movie to make 3D. You need someone to rotoscope for that frame by frame. And if there is a program that does, the 3D will be terrible. Hence why the complaints about the re release of star wars in 3D. The 3D parts were piss poor, because the movie in itself, didn't lend itself to many 3D shots. There are 2 types of ways of making something 3D, shooting it with a 3D camera and rotoscoping the 3D after shooting. 3D cameras, the good ones, are very expensive and I can't see TV stations switching to those ones after they all just made the change. Even then you still have to rotoscope out certain 3D parts. My friend I graduated school with works with the TOP and basically only 3D rotoscoping firm in Venice, CA and that takes times and money, something TV shows don't nearly have enough of. And as much as you say you have been to CES and you can see the new gizmos, I'll say to you I've been to a car show and have seen concept cars that have never ever been made. And they had just as many wild and crazy ideas. But I do agree that for me, 3D doesn't add anything to the experience -

From what I've read and heard(used to be in TV Sales and I worked in the post-production side of movies/tvs) the 3D TV sales aren't going as well as hoped. The market just isn't developing. Glasses-free? That would basically be hologram TV?, haven't heard any real development in that. Besides projection into fog, which disney has been doing for years, its holographic. Not sure if that is what you meant. The way the current 3d technology works(which is with light wave lengths) glasses-free seems a way off IMO. -
I appreciate what you did and agree. But the "haters" will say statistics don't tell the whole story.

But hey, the head of the 3D movie association(yes its real) has come out and promised they would never raise the price of 3D movies. Personally, for most movies, I don't think the extra $$ for 3D makes it that much more enjoyable. I've been to 2: Avatar, Coroline. I just hate the whole 3D movement being shoved down my throat. Fortunately, the 3D TV market has flopped and experts think 3D tv's will be gone soon. -
