Russell Wilson already threatening.

Causing havoc? Against a bunch of other rookies, UDFA and mini camp invites. Wow, get his hall of fame bust ready. Is it the regular season yet? -
Personally, I think the best way to learn the fundamentals of photography is with an old fashion film SLR. Yes, yes I understand you can easily go out and get a digital SLR and be snapping away in no time. And maybe I'm biased, from having to take classes upon classes of film photography. But I believe you truly have a better understanding of the fundamentals of photography by going through the rigours of film photography first. You can get a cheap body for a film SLR, I mean real cheap, and if you plan things, the lenses that you buy are interchangeable with their digital counterpart. IE, Nikon lenses will work across both the digital and analog camera bodies, depending on which bodies you go with. Also analog SLRs don't have tons of settings so you really concentrate on shutter speed/aperature/film speed. And most important, because film isn't as forgiving, you concentrate on image composure and truly capture the best images. You don't just snap off 100 pictures just because you can. Then after the basics are learned and you are still interested go out and spend the money on a digital SLR. But that's just my opinion.

From the articles I've read, Spanos and Mayor Sanders just aren't seeing eye to eye on the stadium. And each year it cost 2-3 million less for Spano to break the lease with the city and move. Now, obviously things could change if this stadium never gets built in LA or something like Minnesota happens. And in the end this could all just be Spanos pounding his chest to force the cities hand, but who knows.

I agree with half of that statement. I think San Diego ends up going to LA. The city of San Diego has absolutely no plans to give the Chargers a new stadium. The Chargers could move to LA without losing a lot of their fan base, being that San Diego and Los Angeles are only 120 miles apart(think a little less than Buffalo to Syracuse, roughly). Returning the Chargers to the former home, I think happens.

Leeds is amazing, my favorite northern city. Also puts on one of the best music festivals in the world every year, IMO. Leeds Fest

Yes, I get that as a result of boxing not being as popular culture changed. But it wasn't our culture changed their opinions of the sport, then boxing became less popular. Boxing became less accessable and people stopped watching, which in turn our culture changed what sport they thought most popular. You, I believe, are suggesting that our culture will change its opinion of football and therefore the sport will die out. Which isn't the same as what happened to boxing.

I think what killed boxing the most is PPV honestly, not so much a cultural change.

Well kabnt2005 came back again, and commeted on the post about his credibility and has since deleted it. It was up for mere minutes, don't know if anyone else saw it. Basically saying its still a done deal and that his time frame might not be acurate in that it will be another 24 hours. Don't know why he deleted it. -

Smith 4.4 YPC. Although I don't know if thats all completely Wild Cat related, but still not bad for a QB/WR/RB/KR. To be fair, that was his lowest average since being a pro. In 2010, that average was 7.9 and in 2009 that average was 11.8 YPC. My guess is with the shortened off season Chan wasn't really able to design many plays for Smith. It was apparent because most of his plays were a shot gun snap and take it up the middle type play. -
I see a good amount of Rugby over here in England. Premiere league. These guys certainly get concussions, loads of them. I was going to comment back to the person who posted that Rugby gets less concussions, its simply not true. In fact, they don't even have the steps in place like the NFL does so players rarely come out of the game. In one of the Six Leagues Rugby games this year, a guy was attempting to tackle a player, got knocked out mid tackle(like black out) collapsed and had his head stepped on 2 times while he was out. Play doesn't stop with injuries sometimes. It was brutal.

This. People have to also consider, Football is "top-dog" in American sports. It gets vast amounts of media coverage because of how popular it is. And of course with that extensive coverage, Football is constantly under a microscope. This is why the concussion issue is so big in Football, because of how popular the sport has gotten. You'd be a fool not to believe that concussions don't happen in other sports, but ask yourselves why those sports haven't fallen under the microscope? Media coverage and $$$.

Personally, I think VY still thinks he's a #1 and the ball is in his court, so to speak. The Bills brass could have made an offer to him, but he might want to wait around to see how training camp/OTA's with other teams go. See if a chance to compete for a #1 opens up, which it might. -
Born and raised in Rochester, NY. Moved to Los Angeles(Venice Beach) for 6 years. Currently living in Huddersfield, England. It's between Manchester and Leeds.

Is it a coincidence that Philly had the same problem at LB last year?
-
That was the first game against the Dolphins w/Levitre at center. This is for CJ's performance in the week 15 game. Which was the 2nd meeting.

Linky Link I know many people here don't take PFF that seriously. Still its nice to see.

7th in the league in average drive start and 1st in the league in average kick off return yardage at 20.3 yards. I understand what the Bills brass is getting at, but I actually liked what they did last year. To me that was taking the closer kick offs and being smart about it. Lindell would directional kick it, almost daring the player to run it out. And seeing as the average yardage was 20.3 yards, the Bills coverage was excellent. It made perfect sense to me. Lots of times last season a player wouldn't even make it to the 20 yard line because the coverage could get down the field fast, since they were closer. Apparently this wasn't planned at all, which is rather disappointing.

Drayton Florence Released
Wayne Cubed replied to Mike In Illinois's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well my guess would be that is one thought. Another thought is to have practices closer together, so players remember things and are in better shape. Less time between OTA's and Training Camp. The later they start the closer to training camp the OTA's would be. -

Rookies aren't reporting for the Bills til May 11 per this link. Link Adam Schefter also reported that 9 teams started rookie mini camps and the Bills weren't listed as one. -
Saw it last weekend here it the UK. Thought it was great.
-
Confused by it as well... It's like a game. See how many washed out WR they can sign. Maybe they can play other positions, like LT or CB.
-
The problem as I see it is that the research can't stop at football. Hockey, boxing, rugby all have high rates of concussion, what's the suicide/depression rate there? Is it just a football incident? USA incident? Feelings, what the hell are those?!?!?
-
I just can't get past the fact that this is entertainment and these people choose to play. Not to mention they get paid millions for it. Its hard to feel bad for them.
