Of course it will but as long as the Bills take the LB out of Buffalo in the first that would be cool but we need to get another QB !! In the words of another coaching rant of recent history " EJ is what they thought he was" I just hope the FO of the Bills realize it & don't show the unwavering commitment to him that they have shown in the past & realize what they need to do moving forward ...

Agreed some of the rules such as the having control through the process of going to the ground is the most ignorant rule they have implemented in the history of the game !! If you have possession when you hit the ground END OF DISCUSSION !! weather you lose it after you role or not your down & other rules interfere with the what we came to love as the NFL !! Not to mention free agency has done to ruin the game i believe that was the beginning of the end for me but all the other things have just helped . I am so discouraged with the leadership of our team & the stupid decisions that they make then try to pass it off to us as good sound football moves ???

Well if you are wondering just what the heading of this post is about i will tell you, it has to do with GOOD coaching of which we have seen a lot of over the last 10 years in our division & actually applies to more than one of the coaches in our division, but i named it according to the best in our conference. It is What Would Bellicheck Do With THe Bills in Another NFL Dimension ?? So i ask you if next year we lured Bellicheck away from the Pats (which that ain't happening) what do you think he would do to make this team better ?? First off i think he would have a sit down with Brandon & tell him to keep his nose out of things he knows nothing about ! Then he would have a sit down with the Whaley & tell him how he plans on the 2 of them need to work together to build this team into a winner & one of the first actions would be to almost completely change the scouting department b/c until this year they have failed miserably ! Then i think he would start to move a bunch of players - 1 starting with Stevie J not mostly b/c of his play but b/c of his injuries & i think he would trade him for a draft pick to add to the WR corp that we do have. I also believe that TJ Graham would be the next casualty b/c of his inconsistency at the position. He could move him as a kick returner do to his speed but that is the only way he stays around . I think in his evaluation of the team as a whole he might get rid of A Moats, possibly Braham & a out side possibility of trading K Williams not b/c of his play but b/c of his age, injury's & to save some salary to bring in others. Then i think he would redo Mario's contract for the short term so he could bring in other players to make the team stronger . There are my thoughts if there was a possibility of this happening in another dimension cause we know it ain't happening here !! What else do you think he might do in this dream ??

Since i have quit watching the games my depression has been much less . My therapist says if i quit reading about the Bills that i have a good chance of my alcoholic tendencies to subside . And they said if i quit all things related to the Bills that with in one years time my chemical dependencie, alcoholism, depression, & dreams a grandeur (the Bills going to the play offs) will be completely gone & i can be released from the facility that i am now committed !! But hey I am a die hard Bills fan so i will now start on my next 12 pack !! GO BILLS !!!

But Brandon & company did a exhaustive search to find the perfect HC to fill the position ??? Given what the QB draft class was last year & us taking one in the first round missing the prior 2 years on Dalton & or Wilson in the later rounds we need to take another QB this year b/c the class is so good ! Or we could do what we did prior to this year & sit back & just think we have our guy & wait another 2 or 3 years to find out we have screwed up !!

Well you sure haven't seen them or it up to now !! I have as much hope as any Bills fan but i can't see what the FO saw in EJ . It was about the same as their exhaustive search for a new HC , they new before they started who they wanted before it started they just went through the motions . If for nothing else we need to draft another QB in this years draft for competition b/c if EJ continues down this path sure he is a good guy but nothing better than a inconsistent back up !! Fitz is higher than he is in QB stats this year.

Ya but what has happened after those first 4 games ? To this point Wilson has smoked EJ b/c he took his team to the play offs & EJ has flat out STUNK all but the one game against the Jets ! If the Bills front office believes that they have found their franchise QB & don't draft a QB out of this years class (b/c it is just better all around than any of the QB's that came out last year) they are as incompetent as it was before !! Or they have been hangin out with the Toronto mayor smokin something ... EJ came out with a lot of questions & has now shown why those questions surrounded him . Even Fitz is higher in the QB poles this year than EJ so what does that tell you ?

I hope we draft the LB out of Buffalo that every one is talking about & also another QB b/c the jury is still out on EJ especially after last week & now what he has done this week i just don't see it ??? If EJ goes down any further than what he is all the fans here will start saying good things about Tuel again !!

No if we did EJ would be another 3 or 4 years from being a decent QB, at this point he is only 1 or 2 years away from being decent !! HA !!

Never really did like the pick where he was taken thought we could have done better for the team but it is what it is now . I don't foresee Manuel becoming Tom Brady he just has to many things to fix that were there in his college career, & he didn't have Russel Wilson type stats as far as yards & accuracy in his college career. I could be (& hope i am) wrong about EJ b/c he has the arm strength , leadership qualities & is a outstanding guy but there are a lot of those guys that are back ups or retired from the NFL ... I hope we look real hard at some of the QB's coming out this year !! My personal favorite although he is not a "prototypical" NFL QB as far as height & such but he has what i think is that IT factor the same as i thought about Russel Wilson. Taj Boyd has shown great leadership skills & more than anything thte ability to lead a team back when they are down in huge games, who ever gets this kid is going to have a great QB for a long time !! I just hope we don't lay our entire future in the hands of EJ & close the door to others that could be there for the picking like we have done in the Bills past with the draft !!

Not to mention that with the home crowd & the elements at The Ralph we would have had a better chance at a win due to the players being even more pumped !!!

Was reading a article connected to rumblings which involved analytics of which Russ B. has said he implemented a new department with in the organization devoted to analytics to help deciding how the plays or play of the team adds up . Well PFF which is always doing these kind of studies did a analytical study on the accuracy of the QB's in the NFL & to this point the worst QB in the NFL as far as accuracy is concerned is (drum role please) GUESS WHO ?? That's right , our very own EJ !! Which was one of the knocks he had coming out of college . The only good thing is, is that he is in good company . Tom Brady , Eli Manning, Andrew luck & other quote elite NFL QB's are all in the lower half of the study too, which i don't know that that in it self would give the study any legs to stand on. Especially seeing as 2 of those QB's I mentioned & others in the lower half will more than likely be in the play offs .. I know this isn't the end all be all with EJ & he is in his rookie year, but i think it wouldn't hurt (as other GOOD teams do) to look hard at this years QB class coming out, b/c it is said that this is a really good class . And a security blanket never hurts !! If for nothing else if one of these guys should fall to our pick to pick him up for competition & if EJ continues down this path of inaccuracy or doesn't progress as they had thought he would to have another good option going forward . (Seeing as the Bills fans have already sliced & diced Tuel to bits & have thrown him into the ranks of the Jamarcus Russels of the NFL . Which is another entire discussion in & of itself ...) But !! I was just wondering now that our season will basically end at the given time of the scheduled season & there once again will be no post season what if any conversation that this article may bring in this the 2 Bills drive community . To answer your question with a question , how good would this DB squad be & how many INT's would Byrd have if he started the year healthy & if he was in OTA's & mini camp ?? If he wouldn't have had his contract thing going on & been there from the beginning & been healthy Byrd would have been a huge factor in this D & would have been in the pro-bowl again as a hands down starter not a second !! Players like Byrd come along seldom so yes we should do all we can to keep him in a Bills Uni !!

#12 should have slowed intentionally & let Tomlin's guy tackle him out of bounds taking Tomlin out with them IF he in fact did do this intentionally to send him a message that 2 can play his game !! Of corse that could have caused a bad injury to Tomlin which i would not hope for but i think it is just wrong to pull something like that & at the very least he should have been flagged for being on the field !!

He is a big part of the reason CJ did what he did last year & why even with his injury he isn't doing any where close to what he was !!

OK i was reading another article on another sight that was asking about certain players future with the Bills & the player in question was Scott Chandler . During this article they had specifically asked about Scotts out put this year, saying that it has been down noticeably this year from last. That got me asking myself a couple of questions . Is Scotts low out put lower due to his injury last year & he's not back to 100% yet ? OR Is Scotts low out put due to the young & ever changing QB position this year ? Last year because of Scotts size - 6' 7" tall he was a huge presence in the red zone & on 3rd downs when we needed THE go to guy to (get er dun) & keep in mind he set or tied the record for TD's in one season for a TE (which could have been due to Metzelars which is another WHY DIDN"T WE KEEP HIM question) But So what are your thoughts about this subject & do you think Chandler will be around next year, or will he be on another team which we will face & get over his injury 100% & burn us for a couple of times a year for some game winning TD's ? I could see the Pats picking him up with the lose of Hernandez & paring him up with Gronk for another wicked TE tandem !! I think we should try to retain him (& teach our new QB how to use him) because after he (Chandler) learns this offense (and they learn how to use him) he will be a weapon then pick up another rookie TE to learn behind him while he shows what he's worth in our game ... Or develop Gragg & let Chandler walk at the end of this year while continuing to get younger while keeping the pay roll down by letting Chandler walk b/c he would probably ask or demand more than a rookie at the same position ? There you have it !!

Well Fitz earned a win for the Titans & looked good doing it for the most part . With all of the QB's we have had under center this year it probably would have been a better idea to keep him around so that we could have actually got something for the money the team is paying him . So do you think he would have been a good mentor to bring EJ along if we would have actually kept him around or do you think that it would have splintered the locker room by keeping him due to the allegiance that Fitz had with the other veterans still on the team ?

All's i got to say is he had better get one hell of a pay check cause no matter what satisfaction you get out of it is what you give up worth it ??

The lose of Levetrie & Rhinehardt is very apparent in our running game seeing as last year CJ had his way with all the wholes the O line opened for him . I think next year a guard may be on our draft needs or the possibility of Asper developing into that guy ! Which would be a good thing seeing as he was a draft pick of ours any way ...

Right there with you , if he has no loyalty to a guy that has been through it all with him from day one then he will have 0 loyalty to the city of Buffalo & it's fans he is all about the money which i would rather have Tom Golisano that use to own the Sabres as our owner he said he would keep the Bills in B/lo where they belong !!!

Consideration should be made of where he was as far as stats when his career ended . At the time he was one of if not the biggest WR out there, & as the years go on with the change in the rules & the game it self he will & has slipped in the numbers thing . This year Marvin Harrison a great player in his own right is a finalist & has the numbers to be a first timer but where was he at when Andre retired ? That should have some kind of bearing on the voting ! Because as it stands with all the guys that are putting up huge numbers now & all the guys that will become elligable say like T.O. & others it will just put ANdre further & further down the list but does that make him any less deserving of the HOF ??

Every year we seem to get one or 2 players that we get from other teams that are really consistent players Craig Urbik, is one & Rhinehardt was another so we have always been active in picking up players from other teams PS or WW . I think that with this years draft class & the few that we may have found if for nothing else but good depth players & if we hit next year in the draft like we did this year OMG !! Chad Rhinehardt

He has got some bashing from time to time about how he goes about his gig but i have always liked the way he & Gumble worked together & will miss hereing his break down of games on sundays . Thanks for all you didd for football Dan enjoy your retirement !!
