Watch the tape of the last couple of games the dude blows catches at times when the team needs him he's not a clutch player ! When it's crunch time he just doesn't produce . And the INT near the goal line he should have if nothing else fowled the dude so he didn't get the INT but didn't . IIMHO if Duke would have been in there on that play near the end zone that almost hit him in the hands Duke would have positioned himself better & boxed out the defender to make the catch or would have fought off the INT . Sure the guy puts in the work, he's a great team guy but he's like the Tyrod Taylor of WR's he's a decent #3 WR but when you need him to step up when the game is on the line the dude just never seems to deliver . Look att he Dawson Knox over the defender catch, the John Brown 1 hander, you just don't see that from him & i don't think given the fact that he is in his 3rd yr we ever will !! Turn him into a ST player with a #4 WR status & bring Duke up he's a lot more hungry & has shown more & if given the chance to play & develop in the scheme i think can easily out play Zay !! Just saying ... Yah but those ones that hit him in the hands & he don't get are the ball breakers !!

Hopefully he's more like Jim Kelly than Trent & this will motivate him to be even better in the future ... ?

I agree i think this will be a great lesson for Josh in particular going forward ! He came out way to hyped wanting to whoop up on them & it hurt him if he would have just took what they gave him instead of trying to go big it could have made a difference . Even given all that played out they were still right there at the end & football being a game of just a couple of plays that change the out come that's all it took in this one & that's was the difference . I think it will be different next go round !! GO BILLS !!

Why should he show any respect for the Bills that would mean that he would give them props & admit they shut him down & he won't do that ! They just need to kick their ass next time in their house & that will prove where the Bills are at until they do that there will be little to know respect from them. Bellichek will give some but that's where it ends !! I just wan the Bills to beat them while Brady is still there because if they don't the excuse will be that we couldn't do it while he was there & even if we do now the excuse will be that he is 42 years old so you should be able to !!

I think the big difference in the game was that Josh came out way to hyped & wanted the win so bad for the fans & because of the history between the 2 teams that he lost focus on (like McD said) what their D was giving him & tried to go to big & they made him pay ! You take away his first INT add the Houshka miss & the Bills win this game ! The punt looked as if the snap was low which caused the punter to have to take more time too but even given that mistake the Bills were in it to the end & if Josh would have been in we may have had a better chance ! Not that Barkley was terrible it's just that Josh is "The Guy" so he needs to be on the field but to only be down by 6 against the Pats after how it starts out this team showed a lot more than any team from the recent past, i have been to Bills/Pats games where we were up at half & the Pats came out & took over & the Bills looked to just fold up & quit but thats not what i saw in this game !!

OMG !! Field gate !!

I watched both hits & the only thing different that i could see was when Burfict was on his way in he lowered his helmet & used the crown to hit the other player which looked pretty intentional to me ! On the hit with Josh it looked as if the guy was trying to hit him with his shoulder & Josh lowered his head for the impact & also due to the angle that the first tackler was pushing him their heads collided i was surprised to see the other player walk away it was a pretty hard hit . I'm not happy with the out come & think the Pats player could be fined for it but the Burfict hit looks as if he was head hunting & the other i can't say that, that was his intention JMO !!

I think Barkley is much more of a QB that can pass you open or throw with anticipation i guess ? Given a week of prep i have all the confidence that he can go in & win the game for us !!

I agree 100% !! Mistakes in life & sports happen, as long as you learn something from them going forward & don't continue to make the same ones over & over again then it wasn't a waste of time, i think this will be what comes from this game . Going forward I think this will be a good loss for the lessons learned if you can see that ??

I watched it & he did not seem real happy in any way & he addressed the elephant in the room being Josh ! He was very up front with saying he didn't take what they were given & tried to make something happen & he shouldn't have ! But this will be a good lesson going forward given they have the tape & he can watch just how foolish it was to do some of the things he did !! I think the Bills will split with the Pats & i'm glad they had this game this early because the lesson in this one he (Josh) will be able to carry on into the season & will ultimately help him down the line !!

I'm all in bring in The Duke !!

Along with the missed field goal, Zays drop, & Josh trying to do to much at first yah it had something to do with it for sure but in the end if Gore punches it in it's a win instead of a loss !

We all know that football is a game that can pivot to a win or a loss on just 1 or 2 plays & thats the way i see that this game went . Allen came out i think way to hyped for this game & wanting to give the Bills mafia a win in the worst way which led to him pressuring himself very early & trying way to hard to make a big score rather than take what the Pats gave him which led to this first mistake being the INT ! I along with many other fans was very down after that but i did think that this year the Bills are a team that won't quit fighting, & they believe in each other enough that along with their coaching staff that they would get it figured out in the second half of the game & can score points later to help them selves to put up more wins than loses . It's been 4 games & they are 3 & 1, this game should go as a huge learning experience to take the rest of the way for Josh & the rest of the team & coaches . One thing i believe they need to do though is make some player changes going forward . The second play that could have changed the path of this game was the Zay Jones drop ! This guy has been given a chance in each of the games to make plays that could have turned the out come but when given that chance more than not he doesn't come through ! I for one think that the times he has dropped the ball this year if that would have been The Duke it would have been a different out come & it's time to sit Zay & bring in Duke ! The 3rd play is Houshka's miss, if he makes that there are points on the board that help the out come of coarse but that being said 2 of the best kickers of the past few years both missed kicks in this game & Houshka has been more on than off so i can let this one slide for now as long as it doesn't become the norm !! In the End game i think our Bills are really close & this game will be HUGE going forward, Josh seems to learn quickly & this lesson will go a long way IMHO ! With the Bills D playing the way they did it wouldn't have taken much to win & even given the mistakes made they were right there at the end of this one if they had Singletary, Duke, & Josh the full game i think it would be different . Which the next game i believe will be because now they have played them & know they can keep Brady in check with the lesson the Pats gave Josh this time the next meeting will be totally different ...

Definitely i'm with you Dr. K & it's mostly because of the owner I would even go as far as saying the hate is post Tex Schram Jerry is just a pompous ass of a owner the guys just man i can't stand him or anything to do with him which is why his team is the worst !!

He will be another good draft choice that McD & Beane found the more time he gets with Josh the better the chemistry & i think he will be around for a while to help the team build into a contender for the future !!

A full house beats 3 of a kind right ? The house will be full & rocking in Buffalo today the NFL can have all their luxury stadiums with all their amenities i will take a stadium filled with true fans over the half full stadiums with all their perks any day !! GO BILLS !!!

This guy is like the spoiled rotten kid that his parents let get away with anything & don't hold him responsible for any of his actions ! He needed or needs his ass whipped & didn't get it !! I don't know that this is a must win game but this is a game that the Bills should win & if they are going to be a good team & make that natural progression to being a good team then this is a game they should win !! But it is not a game they should take lightly because the Bengals can score ... GO BILLS !!

That was a awesome piece on a awesome person the guy is pure gold for the Bills team & it makes more sense now why he wanted to be here with the team being more of a family oriented type place than other teams ..

Well i can't say as i kind of blame him to not get to high right now sure it has been nice to start out like they have but i want to see it continue & doing it against some other good teams . I think each of these teams that the Bills have beat o this point are good at certain things but we have yet to play a complete team & i'm hoping that all the games leading up to the Pats & others in the schedule will be learning experiences so when those teams come around they will be more prepared for a upgrade in play & coaching !!

I hope a team that needs a WR don't see that cause if they do he's gone ! He wants to be playing ball not staying on the practice team i hope McD has a plan to bring him up soon !!
