  1. I see it both ways. In following this team for 53 years I have seen so many bonehead, botched end-of-first half efforts resulting in points the other way, I'm relieved when the kneel it with a lead. But I also think with that time left and 2 timeouts, great teams take a shot. I think if Josh keeps progressing, they will get more aggressive.
  2. They gotta keep Ty at RT. All he does is win his battles consistently. What's not to like.?
  3. We seem to lose to Cincy regularly. Hope that changes this year. Good post by the OP.
  4. +1. Easy to ridicule but done right it's essential for enduring success.
  5. This falls under woulda, coulda, shoulda. It was a terrible half. Four turnovers - however realized - and a safety, is brutal football. Another errant toss should have been picked and another called back on a penalty. Hey we won. Plenty of positives to take out of this game but let's not sugar coat a half of a game that if repeated against most teams, would have let to a bad defeat.
  6. Keep Ty at RT. Cody just looks better when he's not in space and inside.
  7. Nah, I was fine with it. You're screwing up left and right, just get out of the half happy you're only down 6.
  8. Called him out rightly? Stills has a right to an opinion but it hardly makes him right.
  9. I think he needs to move to guard. That said that was one hell of s D line he went up against today and Greggo did some pretty good stunts and blitzes. He's going to be fine, it was his first game.
  10. Whenever a DC says he's not worried about something, he's worried about it. This is where Morse will pay dividends.
  11. I think it's going to be a tight game that comes down to who makes the fewest mistakes.
  12. This. And not for nothing, how many Josh to Smoke bombs will it take for them to be play Akers?
  13. It's different, he's going to implode the Patriot way. Should be fun to watch.
  14. I think he's saying "When (we) roll the ball out, Bojo is going to be the first punter to kick the ball."
  15. Very similar thing happened to me many decades ago. The boss took me out to dinner, didn't fire me, but had a off the record discussion to tell me I was an a**hole and a jerk to deal with. And no matter how good I was at my job, I wasn't worth the effort to him or others. He gave some examples and it was hard to listen to, but I knew he was right. It was a change moment for me as I mistook being the best for being ruthless, and frankly, being like that took a lot of energy for me as it really wasn't my nature. Made changes, made friends and grew considerably. We still keep in contact and are friends. He did me a big favor.
  16. I think this sums it up nicely. Good post.
  17. Make Barkley do it.
  18. This. He feels the team will take a big step this year and wants his young core to develop together.
  19. Our QB room is looking just fine for the first time in decades. Barkley had been terrific in his role, so no thanks on Hoyer. Two years ago, different story.
