  1. I'm reacting to not seeing a growth of better decision-making that we were promised and seemed to be happening throughout training camp and the preseason. Hopefully the coaches "over react" as well so he doesn't do it again in the regular season.
  2. Theoretically I agree. But that throw was beyond the pale. Sorry. He's got to be smarter than that.
  3. So he's great? No he's still has a lot to prove and making good decisions is part of what he has to prove. I like him, want him to be the guy in the worst way, but we don't need another Fitz with brutal turnovers when the game is on the line. Throw that pass when it's 4th down, we're behind with a minute left and desperate, not on 2nd and 4 early in a game.
  4. You must miss Fitzy then. Hey if you think that was a smart throw, and accurate throw and an acceptable risk, then we just view the game very differently. I prefer to win for once. Josh should learn the rules first before knowing when to break them.
  5. Maybe, but I doubt the game situation Farve was in wasn't 2nd and 4 with nothing on the line and at a time you're supposed to be showing your growth in making better decisions. Defend it all you want, it was a terrible decision and he needs to stop it.
  6. Josh should take risks, that's who he is. But when it's2nd and 4 in our end of the field and he lobs up a goose egg like that that's not acceptable. That's not a risk that was just stupid.
  7. Farve earned that right, Allen hasn't shown enough smart passes to the warrant boneheads passes. That pass by any measure was stupid. Let him get a couple championships under his belt before he starts slinging rocks for fun.
  8. Nah, it was a spectacularly stupid throw. The kind he was supposed to not do this year. That's all it is.
  9. Umm, sorry. That was a bone-head rookie throw. He needs to use less arm and more brains moving forward.
  10. My stock answer to all the Schopp threads... Don't listen! I never do and miss it not!
  11. My millennial nephews light my phone up a dozen times a day with Bills and Sabres chatter. Can't agree with your premise.
  12. Me as well but that's Sean's boy there and I doubt he goes anywhere. They didn't need to with the talent they had at receiver. The kids a lock and is going to be good IMO.
  13. Oh good, another Kaepernick thread. Yawn, no, no and no.
  14. There is no possible defense for Bodine's over the head snap. He was likely concentrating on the next DT that was going to push him back into the QB.
  15. I was at TC tonight and Bodine is just plain bad . Josh was off again as well.
  16. Been a die hard fan since 1963. Pumping up every TC can wear on you, but I can tell it's happening again. My wife says I'll never learn and that's likely so!
  17. I haven't been to TC yet but friends who have tell me, and from reading Astros notes, there seems to be a different vibe and a purposeful attention to detail beyond anything they've seen before. I've been trying not to get too pumped up, (as I have for the past 50 years) but it's hard not to get excited hearing these reports. I'm traveling another week for work but can't wait to hit camp and see it for myself!
  18. He won 10 games with a washout quarterback. He put Brady in the perfect system with the perfect tools and the perfect scheme. Brady would still not have anywhere near the same success with multiple coaches like most quarterbacks have in their careers.
  19. At least the craziness will come with lower taxes.
  20. I hardly think Brady would have had a fraction of the success he has had w/o Belicheat.
  21. In Rochester for 30 years but B'lo born & raised. Soon getting out of NYS. Need to get away from high taxes and this increasingly crazy state gov't.
