Everybody should be ticked off
Green Lightning replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, I memorize all the links to stories pertaining to the Bills. In a profile of Sean, he said that between seasons he grades everything about his staff and team beginning with himself. And he seeks input from others on his performance. Believe what you want -
Everybody should be ticked off
Green Lightning replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or Andy Reid? Bud Grant? Don Coryell? Marv Levy? George Allen? Chuck Knox? They never won the SB in their long careers. McD just finished year 3 after he inherited a mess. We'll see what next year holds. He has shown he grades himself pretty severely as he grades others. -
Josh Allen article

F that. I'm going to file "light-hearted looks at our 'dolt' QB" under "things to read when senile." -

What Changes will be made this Offseason?
Green Lightning replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Big #1 WR, OT, Edge, CB and I'm not sold on Edmunds in the middle. We can't seem to get off the field on 3rd down when it matters. He also gets tied up too easily on runs. -
Who cost us the game today?

Daboll Brutal Down the Stretch
Green Lightning replied to billsfan_34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bingo. I was just yelling at the TV, no empty backfield. Get Singletary out there. WTF. What doesn't that idiot understand about just moving chains! All we needed was to move the freaking chains. Slants, runs, screens, anything just stop with the empty goddamn backfield when all we needed was a damn field goal! -
Playoff #1 Bills @ Texans PostGame Thread
Green Lightning replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Typical Josh, some amazing plays and a some astoundingly bad plays and poor ball protection. Daboll's play calling in OT was putrid. Just move the goddamn chains, run it, slants, throws to RBs. But no, empty backfield. Idiot. -

Soul crushing Bills loss as usual. No excusing this. Bonehead play calls, crazy stupid sacks, ridiculous 3rd down D. Just pathetic. -
NE fans are hating life right now. Lookie here...

That was a fun read. Sad excuse for fans. Love, love, love that they have to play next week. -
Look, I'm on board with Josh, but the easy misses cost us the game. He's inconsistent for now. Every amazing throw has a head scratching miss to go with it, many times w/o pressure. He's got us to 10 wins and has improved. But he's got to learn to sustain drives and connect with open receivers consistently, especially with pressure packages every DC is going to now throw at him. Those two 3-and-outs in the 4th quarter, with a winded D, really hurt us. True the OC bears some of the blame but so does Josh. It's not blasphemy to say there's another level he needs to step-up into - and sooner than later.

This one was on the defense folks
Green Lightning replied to BillsBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Spot on. D plays better, tackles better, we win. Josh hits a few open passes and avoids bonehead sacks, we win. You can't go 3 and out twice with the game on the line and a tired D. . First down play calling was brutal and predicable. -
Brian Daboll has no future here
Green Lightning replied to Tesla03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. Played a hell of a lot better than he did the 1st Pat's game but that was Peterman-like. Our 1st downs were awful. I believe in Josh but our passing O cannot continue to be this meager. Is it the scheme, the schemer or the QB is what I don't know. -
Welp, it’s time for the offseason and mock drafts
Green Lightning replied to jimmy10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brutally disappointed today. NE was so beatable today. Guess we're not top echelon yet. When our O learns to get 1st downs consistently in crunch time we'll be there. The 4th quarter 3 and out was pathetic. Rack up some 1st downs and it's a different game -
Why We Will Struggle in the Playoffs
Green Lightning replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tough to argue both points. Also tough to argue. -
Not getting this Allen hate. Much improved this year that can't be solely measured by the comp %. He needs consistency but hit some big passes today against the leagues leading D. He has the heart of a winner and I see good things for him. We should have won this game today. The 3 and outs killed us.

Allen slammed on ESPN
Green Lightning replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Same here, Allen was my last choice. Guess that's why I'm not a GM. He has shown me enough this year to think that better skill players will greatly benefit his growth. Now just beat NE. God I despise them so. -

Hey I hated the pick at the time. Ruined my week. The kid was raw but now is constantly developing. Year two and he has the 4th quarter winner gene. Many QBs never have for their career. He's evolving. I'm in on this being our guy. -

Jesus Beavis, who cares what those ass-clowns think. Just win. FWIW, Josh needs a few complete games under his belt and all this goes away.
