  1. I would watch it alone with my cell phone off because most of the people I know are Pats and Skins fans. Win or lose, I don't think there's a chance I'd go to work the week afterwards. That would either be an awesome week or a really really bad one.
  2. A second round pick is FAR to valuable for this guy. That's a Cody Glenn or Rob Gronkowski. Or at least a solid role player if you dont mess up. IF I was one hundred percent sold on Fitz as the franchise, then maybe a 3rd or 4th rounder makes sense, but until then the Bills need to stockpile picks for a potential Redskins esque trade as unlike the Skins, the Bills might truly be only a franchise QB away from the start of another good run.
  3. Zero chance Foles gets put on the PS. Teams would be sprinting to sign him. Hopefully including the Bills.
  4. Sorry for your loss. Those covers were cool. The Oilers one especially.
  5. DTV stinks? Compared to what? I've had Comcast, Timewarner, Cox Cable, they all are so much worse its laughable. The part I found really amazing is that living only 2 miles from where I had Comcast I now have DVT, and while a bad storm distorts the signal 4-5 times a year for a couple of hours a shot, Comcast use to be down at least 15 or so days a year for the same ammount of time. Twice in the 4 years I had comcast the entire neighborhood feed went down for 3 freaking days. And we're not talking about some backwoods locale, this occured in the heart of Arlington.
  6. I was a kid in WI, so I started watching the game at home on tv, but down by 3 scores I headed out to the local rink to play hockey. When I got back home my dad informed me that the Bills had found a way to win, and that I should shovel the damn driveway.
  7. I'd be happy to see the Bills ditch Troupe. He's a far more likely replacement for Taylor, given their respective sizes, but I have no idea if the Browns would even give up a 7th for him.
  8. I vote Kelsay. He is unjinxable.
  9. 4.80 40? At 6'3" 250 Lbs, I'd buy a Sub 4.8 20....but that's about it.
  10. 1. Gilmore - Satisfied 2. Barron - A little puzzeled 3. Kuechly - Ecstatic 4. Floyd - Satisfied 5. any LT other than Kalil - If this happens at 10, depressed 6. a trade up for Kalil - Happy, as long as they didn't give up more than their second and first to do so 7. Tannehill - Excited but scared. Like screwing a really hot girl you just met without a condom. Could be awesome...but likely to end badly.
  11. Peter King just reported that a lot of people in San Francisco are absolutely obsessed with Cox.
  12. Yeah just when some were starting to change their perception of him, he fails a drug test to cemment his fall out of the draft.
  13. I assume he'd be given another extension. Gotta lock him up forever.
  14. Dear John, I saw in your contribution to the ESPN People's Mock Draft that you thought Dre Kilpatrick ("aka Kirkpatrick") was a strong possibility (reading between the lines of what you wrote, hopefully correctly). I was wondering why you thought this was the case? (Heard any rumblings to support this, etc?) I've been thinking for quite some time that Kilpatrick is the selection as Buddy Nix is big on established SEC players, needs more CB help badly, and sees the WR position far deeper than that of CB in this draft. But it seems like most draft evaluators aren't that high on Kilpatrick, and see him as the third ranked CB in this draft, at best (behind Claibourne and Gilmore). I think the dude is like a super-sized version of Antoine Winfield, he wont have a lot of picks, but he'll give you blanket coverage and can bring the hammer in run support. I basically was hoping to see if there was anything else behind your blurb. Thanks
  15. Wow...a preemptive I told you so. Always a bold move but when you combine it with the fact that Blackmon: 1 - will get taken ahead of Floyd, 2 - is widely considered light years better by the majority of draft experts, and 3 - will have a far better career this is just an amazing post. I don't particularly mind Floyd beign selected by the Bills at ten, but if Blackmon is on the board this isn't even a close call. Blackmon isn't Megatron or Larry Fitz, but he is a complete prospect who at his worst will be another Anquan Bolden. Floyd on the otherhand is an injury prone player who has yet to live up to his full potential and might have a drinking problem. That's an awful lot of red flags to overcome.
  16. Any tips of what to do up there? Me and the group I drag to Buffalo annually for a sick weekend are hitting this game and as Ive never been to Toronto I have no idea what there is to do besides make fun of the canuks.
  17. Wow...better hurry up and trade for Hoyer before you can pick him up cheap as a UFA next offseason. Mallett looked like crap in extended play last preseason, Hoyer's looked ok in preseason work, but a lot of junk QBs do. I pray the Bills arent stupid enough to give up a pick for one of these nobodys.
  18. Drafting a DT at ten? Why not draft a DT every round? Seems just as reasonable.
  19. Kuechly would be awesome and I do believe he could play all three LB positions. If Buddy truly sticks with BPA Kuechly has to be it...if he's there at 10. Not because they play the same way or have the same talent, but the situation reminds me a lot of Von Miller last year and Denver. Von wasn't the perfect scheme fit (made more sense in a 3-4 than a 4-3 which Denver runs) and it wasn't clear where he would fit, but Denver saw a clear talent, so they took him and hit a home run. I see Kuechly being the same thing.
